    1. I would think that in Europe you will likely find a very high correlation between the Islamist immigrants and the spread of the virus. In fact, in Sweden they said at one time that the infections and deaths from the Wuhan virus were much higher in the “foreign born” part of the population. Maybe deliberately so.

    1. It looks like the opposite to me. We didn’t see everyone pack up and leave from any North American city that went into lockdown. Do you remember this past year with the “yellow Vest” protests in France that went on for month after month? See anything the same in NA other than leftists in the US burning their own cities down? Looks to me like we’re bigger losers than the French.

  11. Cases. So there are more “cases”. This the broadest, most dull-witted metric ever foisted on the people of the planet. What is the breakdown by age? Demographics? Hot Spots? Etc. Etc. Hospitalizations? Deaths? And please don’t tell me about a “surge” in hospitalizations… when you read the fine print that says a 5% increase over the last lows of the previous 6 mo’s. Puhleeze?!

      “CASES” is a meaningless term without breaking it down into its component pcs…
      I’ve been arguing this for a while. And would add this:

      In Alberta, Both Calgary & Edmonton (our two main cities), have been under Mandatory Mask Ordinance for 3 Months, We have concurrently Added some 2.6 Million pounds of LEXAN (& Saran Wrap), in EVERY conceivable place to ensure Social Distancing…from Cashier Kiosks to Urinals and all the While SANITIZING 1359 times a day, the living daylights out of ANYWHERE & ANYTHING a person may touch.

      Also at the same time given its October and “flu” season, the 24/7 exhortation on all media to get your Flu Shots. (Normal Flu is A Corona Virus too).

      All this added to greatly increased TESTING with a BS Test that is incapable of determining Viral load let alone that whatever you DO have came from the actual CovidSars2 Genome.

      And everyone wonders where the F all the new cases came from..??? TALK about being PLAYED or what eh.??

        Earlier this week, I was back at my house in NE B. C. An elderly couple (roughly my age) stopped by to look at some of the items I might be putting up for sale. When they came to the door, I introduced myself and extended my hand, a customary gesture. Neither one of them wanted to shake it because of the you-know-what out of “concern” for me. But neither of them was wearing a mask, either.

        People have become dim-witted beyond belief.

    1. Italy has had a mask mandate in place since May 4. Their current 7 day average new case rate is TRIPLE what it was at its previous peak back in March. Masks are nothing more than political talismans….and I would suspect that masks are raising the infection rate rather than lowering it.

    I have finally snapped,the concept that a piece of cloth covering my nose and mouth,will protect me from an airborne virus is so stupid my irony meter has overloaded into psychotic rage.
    I now invite people to admire my mask,it is of the order of The Emperor’s New Clothes,made from the same fabric as Global Warming and has the same integrity as Justine Trudeau.(And Public Health Canada).

    While I should be entertained by this massive wave of mass hysteria and be actively profiting from it,I instead am close to despair for the human race.
    50% are below average intelligence…The average seems pretty low already.
    On the brightside,during times of mass fear and panic,new religions spring up all over,perhaps it is time?

    Cases..Cases are up…Panic now…Oh right we are finally testing people who show no symptoms,testing large groups of people instead of tiny subgroups..
    And surprise surprise(If you are a reporter or politician) we have many more infected persons than we knew,people testing positive (With pretty crappy tests) with no symptoms nor ill effects.
    But this is a “novel corona virus” for which the herd has no natural immunity..

    What a load,where are the mass graves?
    The civic collapse?
    The classic sweeping doom of plague and pestilence?

    Instead we have the panic,without the plague.
    Quite the operation when the Chicken Littles are the authorities and are willing to use any “crisis” to forward their kleptocracy.

    The only information I have gleaned from the “official response” to the Wuhan Flu is mass incompetence and malice.
    Fire them all.
    The Wuhan Flu is nowhere near as dangerous to our health as the attempts to protect us from it.
    The Official lines reads thus;
    “We will protect you from contracting the Wuhan Flu,even if we have to kill you”.
    “Respect my authority”.
    “Silence I fine you”.

      I was in Shoppers Drug Mart today and heard one of their canned announcements informing shoppers that domestic violence has increased because of Covid and to support organizations working to help victims. WTF?!!!!! You want to help victims? End this insanity NOW!!!!!

      No seasonal flu shots available at our local SDM either, for about one week now. I don’t get the shot so I don’t care. Just another example of our governments dropping the ball. They should have expected a higher demand for the shot this year and ordered more. Useless.

    3. Just because you test positive in one of these tests does not mean you have corona illness and spreading it to others. You may or may not have had it or have it now; you probably don’t have any symptoms and there’s a 1 in 2 chance the test is detecting something else. It’s all a lot of codswallop at this point.

      The politicians yield to the bureauucrats who yield to the experts who yield to the computer models. The politicians ensure the experts with computer models are well funded so they can claim they are pursuing research into the thing diligently to save the world. It’s a perfect CYA operation. They all spout the same mantras in the face of reality and the average person’s common sense who, if they have memory, remember what the mantra was and why ois there a “second wave” if wew shut down the economy and life to beat the virus.

      Hah, where have we heard such hubris before? Defeating climate change, anyone? Telling the tide to retreat? The planet is spinning out of control, we should do something about it!

      All the massive turn outs for Trump, and the meager showings for Biden, if Biden is elected, it will only be by cheating. When you revue how the left behaved before the curtain was lifted, you can be sure they have this locked up, and they are just pretending now, for theater. Trump will need an avalanche of votes to out do the cheaters, and even then, the left will erupt if he get back in. If Biden wins, Harris will be Pres in short order, the scandals will all be buried, and those that do not accept the results will be dealt with. The rest will be advised to put their heads back into the sand pit. All will be lost if Trump wins, and all will be lost, but more slowly if Biden wins. BUT..All will definitely be lost, unless we stand tall, resist, and fight back. The US dollar will collapse, and the Chinese yuan will become dominant, the globalists win, and we become their slaves or perish in the civil wars. We must never surrender, or our grandchildren will curse us. The darkness is nearly here. Three more days.

    This morning in my car listening to classical music on CBC Radio 2 I decided on a spot of masochism and let the news run for a minute or so. Heard our chief medical officer Theresa Tam (never heard her speak before: chinese with a weird English accent) say that there’s a surge in cases and that the MODELS say that Canadians will have to cut their contacts with other humans by 25%.

    After the Neil Ferguson/Imperial College fiasco, it stuns me to hear about models.

    The 25% reduction in contacts strikes me as a supreme example of “comical precision” which gubmints everywhere indulge in.
