Just pop the emerg brake and hold it. Do slow 360’s down the street. Used to wellsight with that car before we had to cart gas detectors. Would pull the same stunt as Mr Truck in the snow and back into the shack to unload. Back in my hell raising days.

I sat wells for 30+ years, post holes to +5000 meters and drilled everywhere from Manitoba, west to the Foothills down near Coleman and north to Fort Nelson and points in between, along the Precambrian Shield, plus into it. Red Earth Creek was a separate the men from the boys when picking TD. For fun I did mining jobs when there was no oil work. Yukon to Kaybec and points in between. Multiple thousands of feet of diamond drilling. Over 400 oil or gas wells drilled vertically, directionally and horizontally. I drilled for companies who don’t exist today, or morphed into something else. We “cooked” our samples on the stove at the end of the shack from the Engineer. In Saskatchewan we used to “be” the company man, set casing and ran cement jobs, or plugs, as the Geologist on site. No Engineer or Company Man like today. We didn’t have computerized logs, Pason, or computers, just a good fast right hand and drafting pens, plus a scientific calculator for directional, then typewriters. Prints were run in the logging truck before you left the lease, to deliver as soon as you hit Calgary, at the Company Geologist’s home. You’re spoiled sonny.
