  1. This is pure theatre. Morneau is a dead man walking, they’re just creating the “right” circumstances for him to leave that don’t involve the WE scandal.

    1. No doubt, he will resign to “pursue other interests”, a euphemism for “he got sacked”.

Oh, and it won’t be because he got caught with his hand in the till, either. It’ll be because he made Prinz Dummkopf, et. al., look bad. Thou shalt not tarnish Dear Leader’s image under any circumstances.

  2. The tell is Nik Nanos being the conduit to an ‘independent’ opinion on the sorted details of the inner leakings of the Librano party.

  3. If Carney is as smart as he’s billed to be he’ll stay far away from the unsavoury quagmire Trudeau and his gang have created.

    1. I think Carney has bigger political ambitions. Stepping in now would give him time to set himself up as Trudeau’s replacement.

      1. Carney is just another Globalist POS who doesn’t believe in the Nation Sate, and if he works for the gangster Liberal party than he’s a crook too.

  4. The problem with this narrative is that no matter what circumstances Morneau leaves cabinet it then obligates the sock monkey to do likewise as he is guilty of the same “mistake”.
Actually anyone that was part of the cabinet decision to award the sole source contract to WE is equally guilty.
If Morneau has to be fired, then they all must be fired.
If Morneau has to resign, they all must.
To do otherwise reinforces the fact that sock monkey’s standards are not applicable to him.
Sort of like divine right of kings or something like that.
    But I digress.
There must be some real opportunities now to put a bug in someone’s ear about some perception of disloyalty should some ambitious cabinet member feel the need to eliminate some of the competition.

    1. That’s exactly why they’re affecting this fake disagreement over the green plan and the deficit so no one takes any heat for WE.

    2. I agree Joseph. Morneau is not going anywhere. Trudeau booted JWR and Philpott but that was a one off. They didn’t go along with his crooked bs so they had to go. When the entire cabinet appears to be in on the take honor among thieves trumps everything else

    3. Joseph
“If Morneau has to be fired, then they all must be fired.
If Morneau has to resign, they all must.”

The problem for the Liberals is that the Liberal Party has become the Trudeau Party , as much of their base has been and is attracted to support the Liberals because of Trudeau and the Trudeau name. Remove that and all that is left is an empty shell.

  5. Nanos telling us that we are more concerned about health, jobs, and the economy instead of the WE scandal.

Thanks Nik for letting me know what I think. If we deal with the WE scandal we won’t need to worry about the health, jobs, and economy.

On another note, I don’t really watch question period unless there is something interesting posted. However, can the opposition just ask who in the liberal back bench has the honour and integrity to stand up to this cesspool of corruption? There was a day when not every liberal was this dirty. I knew a few.

    1. Nik Nanos doesn’t care about your opinion. He’s here to shape the field to match the Libranos opinion.

  6. If Carney comes onboard, it will make a bad situation worse. We already know he is a big fan of green energy and he is anti oil / anti Alberta. By that measure he will be a perfect fit in the Spawn / Butts basic dictatorship. Morneau is toast regardless as they have to have a fall guy and they understandably believe that Canadians are stupid enough to buy his sacrifice as sufficient penance. The media will happily accommodate that narrative,

    1. I don’t recall him being a particularly outstanding governor of the Bank of Canada.

  7. If the article is at all accurate, Morneau is the closest thing to a grown-up left in the cabinet, warning Justin that Bay Street is no longer interested in paying for Justin’s “green” boondoggles now that the Bank of Canada is keeping Bay Street on life support.

There are only so many ways to say “You have run out of other people’s money.” Morneau by now must have run through them all, and is beginning to realize he might as well have been talking to himself.

Justin will not listen to reason until a few good men in US Army uniforms show up to forcibly remove him from Rideau Cottage (an event Morneau would probably greet with relief). Why should he? As far as he’s concerned consequences are for people not sired by Pierre Trudeau.

  8. Are the Liberals masochists or just waiting for Carney’s movers to haul his elite resume across the pond. The drip, drip, drip, of WE followed by the drip, drip, drip of the great white holidayer about to be laid off (will he collect EI or just a giant severance and pension, like he needs it).

Oh I know, they are waiting for the red-cons to select the (formerly) Stronach loving, red Tory RCAF holidayer. No, no easily defeated baggage there. Is it me or is MacKay Canada’s Joe Biden (without Harris’ cobra-like charm).

Will we be surprised when MacKay nominates Butts as the next GG.

    1. Alecincgy: What is the reference to the RCAF in relation to MacKay? I ask as a former officer. O’Toole I get. He was RCAF.

      Per ardua ad astra

  9. I’ve noticed that the Globe often uses this millennial SJW ‘journalist’ (ahem) to do a lot of their globalist dirty work and when they need to defend Trudeau.

At the outset of the pandemic, Canadians retuning home through airports were horrified to find that almost all of them could walk right into Canada, no questions asked. They went in Twitter to voice their concerns and to let it be known that everything that was promised by Trudeau, was not happening.

This ahem, ‘journalist’ quietly came out in the Globe in an article to say that ‘more screening’ was on the way in airports, implying that there already was some in place.

But never asking any of the logical or important questions.

Like why hadn’t Trudeau closed the border under the quarantine act.

And explaining that requesting that travellers quarantine, without legally putting the quarantine act in place was simply that, a request.

    Lots of Canadians have died.

And keeping JustUN in place is job #2 now for the globalist crowd, of course only after continuing their jihad against Trump.

  10. This whole shyt show is mind numbing! How is it that there are no angry crowds on the hill demanding blood. Demanding Turdeau and Moron be crucified? Oh, I forgot, this is Canada, we’re to polite to do such things. How long will this country put up with this corrupt government!
