    1. That NY thing about cardiac patients started weeks ago in NYC. Don’t get old folks you will not be able to fight back.

      1. A few numbers for people to chew on….. from the US CDC Apr 18, 2020.
        49,013 deaths from pneumonia.
        17,229 deaths from SARS-CoV-2
7,676 deaths from CoV-2 and pneumonia
        5,411 death from influenza

        615,428 deaths from all causes.

  1. MPs asked to observe a moment of silence for the victims in Nova Scotia. Most MPs now their heads. What’s Trudeau doing?

Take a look at this photo in the Globe and Mail.

    I wonder what he’s thinking?

    1. You did not link the photo, but I have some guesses as to what he could have been thinking.

      1. Elections have consequences bitches, now I will take your guns.
      2. /**** crickets chirping****/
      3. I hope Chinese still like me.
      4. I have nicer socks then the rest of them.

      1. Simple. He’s a scold. He’s looking for opposition members who aren’t observing the moment of silence so that he can text Rosie Barton about them.

      1. I stay by my second guess above.

P.S. I thought “pulling a Biden” meant unconsciously filling one’s own Depends?

      2. Yesterday was 4/20. Time to light up and celebrate Cannabis freedom.
        Bong Boy is still BAKED.
I havent found a clip from today’s media scrum but read he was slurring on the Twitterverse

      3. Joe, thanks for the phrase “pulling a Biden”. Lol on that one, and if you do not mind I will use it in the future. Good one.

        1. Biden had better avoid Holland. The Dutch have added dementia to its list of people doctors can execute. Its so “progressive”.

      4. The one comment asked if there was a mirror that Trudeau was gazing into. My reply would have been: “Of course not – no vampire can see themselves in a mirror”.

        1. He was looking for the camera.

Not sure of what legend says about vampires showing up on film or digital media. But if the fact we keep seeing his damn face, I guess they can.

    2. It’s an “Up yours–I can do whatever I like because I’m the boss” look.

    3. “How Can I best NOT let this “crisis” go to waste?”

      Standard political operating procedure.

  2. File under “Never let a crisis go to waste.”

    https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/emmanuelfelton/canada-gun-control-trudeau-shooting-nova-scotia

More action on gun control is the result of the shootings in NS. As far as the Liberals are concerned we have to get these terrible assault weapons off the streets of Canada. The big problem, the REALLY BIG PROBLEM, is defining an assault weapon. Evidently our fearless government can’t quite put their finger on the definition of an assault weapon and as such they lead the sheep down the path to total gun confiscation. In defining assault weapon the government is incrementally on the road to restricting all guns. Anything used in an assault can be considered an assault weapon. Run ten people over with a van and the van becomes an assault weapon, with a truck same difference, how about a knife, machete, ax, hammer, any tool or implement used in an assault is by definition an assault weapon. The Liberal government will not be happier until it has removed all firearms from Canadians. No where in the upcoming inquiry into this tragedy will it be mentioned that these people were as much sitting targets as are the school shootings in the States. Without a means to self defence you are nothing but lambs to the slaughter, and the Liberals are determined to accomplish this goal. Any thinking person must surely ask why a group of people are so intent on removing a God given human right to self defence from the populace. The answer lies in history, recent history.

    1. It didn’t take him long to come up with that, almost like he already had it planned out and was waiting for something to happen.

  3. I know it’s been said 1000 times but you cannot look at a photo of Trudeau and not see “vacant, low IQ dimwit” screaming at you.

Even in still photos he exudes an air that says “ I have zero qualifications for this job, no self awareness, am really dumb, and have no self awareness.

    1. I know. I looked at that picture and thought “Could he really be the Prime Minister of Canada?” Oh, Canada. What have you done?

      1. I’ve noticed he looks increasingly disheveled. Normally I would attribute that to the weight of his elevated office but really folks he hasn’t carried anything heavier than a couple of tins of Kiwi polish.

I’m guessing it is his handlers cynical attempt to feign Stockholm syndrome and have him pretend to join us barberless, disheveled normies in our isolated servitude.

Yesterday he wore two sweaters and one jacket (in April) and only managed to pop one collar. Such debonair ‘Derelicte’. Still don’t know what he said, I just kept thinking; “Damn, he must be sweating like a Laurentian when they realize Alberta is now a have-not province.”

        1. he hasn’t carried anything heavier than a couple of tins of Kiwi polish

And we, of course, know which colours those would be and for what purpose.

      2. LindaL. Just look a the faces of the electorate. Look at the buffoons singing O Canada. Just look at what we are doing about a virus. Need you see more?

        1. “Look at the buffoons singing O Canada.”
Right. Just what in hell are all those commercials about? Is this, in the absence of Leadership, a morale building exercise?
We live in the stupidest country in the world.

          1. I’ve heard those ads at either the beginning or end of a John Batchelor podcast. I don’t know if it’s his voice that’s being used, but I’d rather hear fingernails dragged across a chalkboard than to keep listening to it.

    2. It isn’t just that. He either doesn’t know or doesn’t care that he’s in way over his head. He acts like he’s entitled to his position.

      1. NR good link. The real story is in the comments, a list as long as your arm of who got tax dollars. UN and mostly Islamic friends and countries.
The Canadian Gulag can’t end fast enough. Get out Alberta

    3. Yes he is total doorknob but he is also a stone cold sociopath. He is incapable of empathy towards anyone his actions harm. That ruthlessness and stupidity is a rare and a very dangerous combination.

      1. Perhaps he snapped from the Police imposed isolation. Cops harassing anyone who even goes for a walk by themselves.

  4. Maybe this is WWIII

We have been told next war will not be like past wars….

China releases a volatile repugnant virus that affects weak and elderly and the odd healthy drone…..

(They don’t really care of collateral damage…. there are a billion or so of em)

    Economy shuts down……mass hysteria……. shortages…..future unknown

They “might” have a vaccine ready. (Like really. Look around. Anything is possible)

    Bada bing. War over.

Look I’m not a conspiracy theorists. Just in my personal life……… sometimes the most absurd outcomes come true. You know, the time the boss sided with so and so and the company lost a contract and you could not believe in any life that would happen

I’m of opinion there is way more to this.

Vent over. Thanks Kate et all. SDA has kept me informed and able to think beyond the CBC and whatever else coworkers are listening to.

I have 1 more beer allocated to today. Then sleep and off to tomorrow’s panic attacks

^^^^^I hate listening to blackface. I could respect Layton and the current NDP leader. Not agree but respect Justin is an idiot.

    1. Jeff K, it is a war we will not win while locked in our houses, with our businesses shut and the police harassing citizens for walking in a park, while the government releases criminals from jail. The government pays those who have caused the problem. Nope, we are too stupid to continue living as a free people. We have lost.

  5. This guy should be kneecapped just for wrecking a work of art: https://www.motortrend.com/news/porsche-carrera-gt-gemballa-mirage-gt-crash-nyc-gold-rush/?wc_mid=4035:18879&wc_rid=4035:2399564&_wcsid=8A959FFE475C992D126522EAB2C8C7A9871302A8192242DF and that on top of all the charges.
He wrecked an MP4 12C and a freaking CLK GTR in his past too. Ok forget that McLaren forget even that Carrera GT, but a freaking CLK GTR! Pure evil, definitely overdue for kneecapping.

    1. Not sure how exactly it is that there are so many rich dudes on the planet that can just throw money in the form of expensive cars away like that. And all of them are on Insta and Youtube.

  6. Tonight’s edition of PBS’s Frontline was about, not surprisingly, the virus. It focused on what happened in Seattle and compared that with what came out of Washington, DC.

Naturally, Trump was blamed for “not listening to the experts”, but the politicians who were interviewed, and whined about it, were all–wait for it!–Democrats.

What the documentary failed to mention was that Trump had to deal with the shenanigans of the ice cream queen, et. al., plus the fact that he has to also consider the big picture. While the “experts” complain about him “ignoring” them, he has to worry about his country as a whole, including how to get it back on its feet.

In other words, the documentary was yet another Trump-bashing session. Never let a crisis go to waste, right?

    1. B A, I get annoyed by the media saying “not listening to the experts”.

Which experts? Can the media name the ones we should listen to?

The media listened to and reported on experts such as:

      1. WHO on Jan 14 said, “Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China. Remember the WHO has its own experts, did they clear this?

      2. On 23 January 2020, the central government of China imposed a lockdown in Wuhan and other cities in Hubei in an effort to quarantine the center of an outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019. The WHO said that it was beyond its own guidelines and commended the move

      3. Theresa Tam on January 29
Appearing before the Commons Health Committee , Tam strongly dismissed the notion even of having all travellers from COVID-19 hot zones self-isolate for 14 days
“Right now… (the World Health Organization) does not recommend travel bans,” (but note WHO comment on China travel ban in item 2 above)
“Putting a mask on an asymptomatic person is not beneficial,” she said

      4. And of course the main street media. Here is an example from CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Mar 4
“the flu right now is far deadlier. So if you’re freaked out at all about the coronavirus you should be more concerned about the flu” He was talking to the CNN “expert” Sanjay Gupta.

      5. New York City’s health commissioner, Dr. Oxiris Barbot, reassured commuters in early February, that “this is not something that you’re going to contract in the subway or on the bus.”

      6. Andrew Cuomo Mar 2 “We think we have the best health care system on the planet right here in New York, so when you’re saying what happened in other countries versus what happens here, we don’t even think it’s going to be as bad as it was in other countries.” Oops. NYC appears to be much worse than other countries.

      7. The experts say they were caught by surprise that many people with the virus showed no symptoms. Why does this surprise them? There are papers saying as many as 30% of all people infected with previous flu strains showed no symptoms.

      1. The “experts” are also telling us to wait for the vaccine to solve everything.

Sorry, not for this dude. There’s too much bullshit surrounding this. Besides ol Juth-tin wants everyone to keep hiding away, depending on his free pesos for at least 18 months until (maybe) there’s a vaccine…..maybe. Corona viruses have been some of the most difficult to produce a vaccine, if they can produce one at all.

They’ve been looking for a cure to the common cold for decades, and no success. It’s a corona virus too. While I’ve taken my various inoculations in the past, I’m steering clear of this frankenvirus “cure” when/if it happens. Gimme HCQ for the cupboard.

By the way, there’s a counter study just put, claiming HCQ doesn’t work. Few details given, other than it being a Trump hit piece. The doctors that have had success with HCQ have already disclosed from their findings, that it works best when a patient is given it BEFORE they are in severe distress, the results are quick and lifesaving. But, if given when they are very ill, it is too late, the damage has been done. Of course, it’s a CNN story…….again, CNN would rather thousands more die and blame it all on Bad OrangeMan.

So, there’s one recent study saying it doesn’t work, with sketchy details, and many recent studies saying they saved almost all patients given the HCQ. Well, CNN viewers can deny and die if they so choose!

    2. “What the documentary failed to mention was that Trump had to deal with the shenanigans of the ice cream queen”

Trump was the only one carrying out shenanigans. Specifically pressuring a foreign leader to investigate a domestic political opponent.

      1. Sorry, UnMe. That is a complete distortion of what was happening. There were/are legitimate reasons to investigate Biden and he was/is not much of a rival. You need a different news source. CNN lies.

    1. Chris

Great find. Although long it is a good read.

“Justin Trudeau’s mandate letters to his three health ministers so far—Philpott, Ginette Petitpas Taylor and Hajdu—are public. None mentioned preparation for an infectious disease outbreak”

“But Bernard’s point was that Trump wasn’t the first to shut down such an operation. George W. Bush shut down Clinton’s disease security shop, then opened his own after 9/11. Obama shut down Bush’s operation, then opened his own, under a biologist and career national-security civil servant named Beth Cameron, after 2012.”

  7. The new Coronavirus narrative is OMG! There will be a second more deadly wave!!! (Maybe? Next Winter?), and we therefore cannot open up businesses next week!!!

Their headlines conflate the two completely separate issues together. You see the headlines and you think if we let one business open this month, we will be swamped in piles of corpses.

    1. rd, there is no cure for our problem as we don’t have either a first amendment or second amendment. Add to that the extreme level of cowardice of the average Canadian. As far as a pile of corpses go, well, world wide it is now “supposed” to be 177,445 fatalities, of course that number has to be suspect because of the dictates of government inflating the numbers. I could give comparison numbers as I have in the past but no one really cares. It is not a pandemic.

      1. Right on. Canada is screwed up. Instead of firing folks for not sending out an alert on an active shooter they will come for your guns and you will have surrendered your right to protect yourself to the all powerful state.

    2. It’s not a new narrative because anyone who know about the behaviour of epidemics knows they come in waves. Read up on the 1918 flu. We should open things up soon, but be ready for shutdowns in hot spots as infections creep up again.

      1. GG, the shut down will guarantee that there will be another wave because we are preventing the herd immunity effect which is quite real no matter what politicians and other fools think.

        1. What you’re proposing is equivalent to burning your house down so it doesn’t catch fire any more. It’s moronic.

      2. If they limited it to hot spots, that would be good. Surely, having over reacted this time, they will have better strategies in place for next time. In the mean time, when the heck will they agree that businesses and parks can open? The ongoing shut down makes no sense.

        1. as of Monday in my area, a city of about 140,000, there were 59 cases maybe. Zero in hospital. out of 140,000 people. what a freaking pandemic.

    3. It’s because Trump wants to end the folly that the media demand more folly.

  8. Boko Haram, the Islamic terror group has slaughtered many thousands of Nigerian Christians. The Obama Administration couldn’t have cared less. The newly elected Muslim-led Nigerian government has INCREASED the slaughter to a point where it is now being called a “Christian Genocide.” That new Nigerian government was elected with the support of Obama and his State Department under Hillary Clinton.
    https://www.raymondibrahim.com/2020/04/21/how-the-evil-called-barack-obama-enabled-the-genocidal-slaughter-of-nigerian-christians/

  9. Mode bad news on the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine, this time from a study run by the VA:
    https://www.military.com/daily-news/2020/04/21/more-deaths-no-benefit-malaria-drug-va-virus-study.html

    The rub:
About 28% who were given hydroxychloroquine plus usual care died, versus 11% of those getting routine care alone. About 22% of those getting the drug plus azithromycin died too, but the difference between that group and usual care was not considered large enough to rule out other factors that could have affected survival.

More study is required. This test was done with people already sick enough to be admitted to hospital, so nothing here about any prophylactic effect.

    1. Well yes the treatment depebnds on the degree of illness. When you are sick and in hospital, it takes a cocktail.

      1. And it was also acknowledged previously by doctors finding success with HCQ, that if patients are intubated, it’s too late, the secondary damage is done, the cytokines storm is underway, and organ failure has commenced.
HCQ must be given while the virus is in its earlier stages to defeat it.
Not that the media would explain that, because Bad Orangeman must be maligned at any cost. The media wants more people to die, let’s face it.

“See the bubble headed bleach blonde with that look in her eye,
        It’s interesting when people die
        Give me Dirty Laundry”

        1. Or maybe Trump was spouting off about therapies before the evidence was in, and he may not know enough to separate anecdote from settled science. There were indications it might work, and it there is a rationale for using it, but it appears that when studied carefully it has not lived up to the promises.

I offer without argument the the doctors at the VA who ran the study we genuinely interested in saving lives, no matter how they vote.

          1. Yes indeed, “spouting off” is offered without argument.
What he “spouted” was something on the line of he heard something about this drug being helpful. It may work, or it may not work. But it is hopeful, so we should at least give it a try.
Settled science in medicine? You are deluded. What is the settled science on the cause of cancer? All we have are statistical analysis, without a shred of science in cause and effect. But people are treated on the basis of what statistically is more helpful.
Doctors at the VA present one study. There are plenty of bedside contrary evidence. Perhaps the doctors at the VA did not follow the protocol correctly. Why are they sacrosanct? Because they did a double blind study? Why is a double blind study even necessary now? We all know the consequences of other “treatments”.

          2. OB … perhaps the VA cherry-picked “lost-cause”, patients with multiple co-morbidities for the regimen. You know, the OPPOSITE of what Doctors do when they are proposing a clinical trial for a surgical technique or therapy. Instead of REJECTING the high risk patients … they selected them.

          3. Kenji,
Quciksilver below noticed that they left zinc out of the protocol.
Zinc is the one which attacks the virus, as I understand it, the other two allow the zinc to breach the cell.
If what Quicksilver says is true, they may have a negative report on their own protocol, whatever it is, but not the protocol with zine, since they didn’t do it.
I just cannot get over it. They started attacking the drug as soon as President Trump suggested it may help. That is simply disgusting.

      1. But that’s the point: more study is required. It needs to be carefully evaluated, the same way other drugs are determined to be safe and effective. No amount of wishing for this to be a miracle drug will make it so.

  10. Oh Noooo! Canada’s MPs are expected to dress for work. Yes now that Great Leader has restricted MPs to virtual sittings, the Speaker Of The House has issued a statement that MPs must dress for work when participating in virtual sittings. Its a good thing our Great Leader has replaced parliament with his daily press briefings. He always dresses up for his loyal media, and appears in different cool socks every day.

  11. And now your Canadians are racist bastards story for today. The media is upset that forty refugees at a welcome centre in Toronto have the China virus.

  12. I normally don’t care for Tom Mulcair, but he has a good column in today’s Sun

    https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/mulcair-canadians-deserve-government-accountability-especially-now

“Trudeau has replaced Parliament with press conferences”

“He can take as long as he wants to answer, in English and in French. By the time he winds down a four-minute answer, you’ve forgotten the question. No one can fire back”

Key unasked question by Mulcair: Why did Jagmeet Singh roll over and play dead for Trudeau

    1. The Canadian Press is currently too busy holding Trump to account at the moment.

You obviously are not familiar with Canadian Press Protocols:

      1. Hold Canadian Conservatives to account by any and all means necessary
      2. Hold American Republicans to account ” ” ” ” ” ”
      3. Hold American Democrats to account with love and understanding
      4. Stroke Canadian Liberals with all you got

Rosemary Barton of the cbc is today’s Canadian Media National Disgrace winner!!!

    2. Heard Doug Ford on the radio this am. The jist: he was asked by a reporter “who was to blame for the failings of the old folks homes and facilities and what would be done to fix things” and he replied, “One person has to take the blame and that’s me. We are learning where there are problems and what we need to do to fix them.”
Can you imagine the fascist in K-bec or PM Shit-for-Brains saying something like that?

      1. Ford should have said that the previous Ontario government chose to force taxpayers to spend $billions on costly and unreliable wind and solar power rather than using the money for improving long-term-care homes. Governments all set priorities and choose where to spend taxpayer money. McGuinty and Wynne chose green energy over seniors.

      2. Good answer by Ford. Impressive. He seems to be growingwith the job. Now, can he muster the courage to get Ontarians back to work?

  13. With the schools shut down our grandson’s teacher sends his work home via the computer. What greats from the past would a Saskatchewan student in grade 3 need to know about? Why not American born commie Cesar Chavez who for some inexplicable reason is tagged ‘migrant hero’ in the video assigned to do the homework?
    https://www.google.com/search?q=cesar+chavez+migrant+hero&rlz=1C1DIMA_enCA671CA723&oq=cesar+chavez+migrant+hero&aqs=chrome..69i57.29162j0j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

  14. Liberals hiding public documents nothing new if it exposes their incompetence

    https://www.blacklocks.ca/feds-conceals-pandemic-files/

Cabinet is concealing thousands of pandemic records including details of contracts and ministerial memos. Cabinet in one case breached a direct order from the Commons health committee to disclose briefing notes, while the Library of Parliament has refused to disclose files it admits are public documents: “They were not so busy that they could not busy themselves with redacting the documents.”

  15. The quality of HRH’s sibilation in this morning’s lecture is unbearable for the listener. That esthh sound in every second word is more than distracting.

Today’s bon mots are about the distribution of more monopoly money in the form of the Canada Students’ Benefit. Because they care.

He is wearing his darkish brown wig today.

  16. FREE MONEY FOR EVERYBODY!! In today’s episode of giving free borrowed money away at his press conferences, Great Leader Shit For Brains is giving nine billion dollars to students. Special giveaway to indian students of course. And a special giveaway to Quebec students. Most of the questions from his loyal drooling media are from Quebec and asking him about a permanent income for everybody. And of course gun control. Its a good thing he got rid of parliament. Stay tuned tomorrow for the next giveaway.

      1. We’ll need to keep all the old people alive to serve coffee at Timmy’s while entitled youth drink, smoke pot and complain about the cost of everything.

    1. Without reading any of the details I can just imagine that this program is set up to: 1) benefit the Qc students at the same rate as non Qc students even though they pay a fraction of tuition. 2) benefit more those students that borrow a shit load of money and therefore penalize those that have paid as they go.

Now I’ll read as much as I can about it and hopefully I’ll be surprised. Wish me luck.

  17. Blackie’s loyal media lapdogs only asked him once about his Mounties not notifying citizens about the Nova Scotia shooter. And that was at the end of media questions. He quickly brushed the question off. Meanwhile Blackie’s CBC reports the American consulate in Nova Scotia sent out an alert to American citizens in Nova Scotia during the shooting. It would seem the American government does a better job in Nova Scotia than Blackie’s new diverse, gender equity Mounties.

  18. Blacklock website reports on how Blackie is hiding pandemic files. Its a good thing he got rid of parliament.

  19. “Pope” Francis popped off again, saying “on Earth Day” how we have sinned against Earth and “the Creator.” See Breitbart.
In ancient Greece, worship of the great Earth mother Demeter was on of the four great cults. That was their day-to-day worship, along with the cults of Apollo, Dionysus, and Orpheus. Mostly, the doings of the Olympian gods were just stories.
Well, with the AGW hoax, the atheists and polytheists have brought back the cult of Demeter. And there is no greater proponent of that than the false pope, Francis.
His first thought was we have sinned against the Earth, as if that is a deity. You may ruin your car by reckless driving, and you can even mourn for it and say you really loved that car. But you would not say you “sinned” against it. You can only “sin” against a god.
He said “the Creator” as though He were just another God. Me may just as well have said Prometheus, a Titan and a lesser god than Demeter, an Olympian. In Greek mythology Prometheus created man and stole fire to provide for him, for which he was punished by Zeus. Maybe that’s why Francis mentioned Prometheus, uh “the Creator”, after Demeter, uh the great Earth mother.
But in fact he is right about one thing. God, the only God, is indeed benevolent, and provides for everyone. He provides animals and plants for our food, ultimately rain for our fresh water, and hydrocarbons made under high pressure at the crust/mantle boundary. Some of the provision requires our help, such as by hunting and gathering progressing to raising farm animals and crops. Just as we have to do a little work to get that bountiful, and essentially unlimited, black gold, the source of our energy, Availing ourselves of that is just following God’s plans in his providence, and not committing a sin against Him.

      1. You are right that the more we explore the stuff, the more we find it everywhere. We know Canada and the U.S. definitely have enough of it in the ground.
But it takes a while to take it out of the ground and transport it. Both because the engineering process takes time, but also because idiots like you object both verbally and physically to taking it out of the ground and transporting it. So it is much better to have enough of it at hand.
Also, you recognize that “the world is drowning in the stuff.” Do you really believe there is enough “fossil”, animal or plant, to prehistorically store all that stuff “the world is drowning in”? Or do you think there is just a chance it didn’t come from “fossils”?

        1. “you object both verbally and physically to taking it out of the ground and transporting it.”

          No I don’t stop lying.

“But it takes a while to take it out of the ground and transport it.”

My understanding is that this is no longer the case thanks to fracking. You can just spud a well until it’s profitable to unspud and this is not a long process.

“Or do you think there is just a chance it didn’t come from “fossils”?”

I’ve heard of the abiogenic oil hypothesis but it’s not really my area of expertise.

          1. Your second paragraph is exactly correct.
            No you don’t stop lying.
            You said it, I didn’t.

          2. Have you ever drilled a well, any well? You know squat. “Spud a well until it’s profitable to unspud….”. You aren’t even close.

          3. PO’ed in AB:

Numpty probably thinks that spudding a well means dropping potatoes down the borehole.

          4. “You can just spud a well until it’s profitable to unspud and this is not a long process.”

I’ve drilled hundreds of wells; fracked, installed surface, equipment, pipelines, and processing facilities for them all, and I have no idea what UnMe’s incoherent sentence means. Neither does UnMe.

Perhaps he is a liberal expert on the oil business.

          5. BAR, it wouldn’t surprise me what Unme thinks. He hasn’t a clue on oil or gas well drilling, vertical, directional or horizontally.
And Joe, I haven’t met many “Liberal experts” at any well site I ever drilled on. They don’t have what it takes to spend time away from the comforts of home to actually get their hands dirty, to drill and complete a well. They do design well programs in town that you and I know have to be “fixed” on the fly, so they get to where they need to go and guys like you can complete them. Hundreds drilled by “The Earthworm”. Cheers.

      2. We also have lots of food, toilet paper, N95 masks, ventilators…
A failure to plan is a plan to fail.

      1. Sweden is not a disaster. They were somewhat higher than other Nordic countries, but not higher than other European countries with extreme lock down. This is a virus. It must run its course. We don’t want hospitals having to deal with everyone at once but the population must face the virus in order to develop herd immunity. Sweden has acquired herd immunity and it’s numbers are now falling. Closing everything down will prove to have been a very misguided policy.

        1. The numbers are not ‘somewhat’ higher than the neighbors it’s clearly much higher. Better them than us as a control group…

          1. Let me know when Sweden is worse than the worst countries in Europe. Looks like they have a ways to go to claim the crown.

  20. The Liberal Party’s Huffington Post is outraged that illegal migrants in Ontario are having a hard time getting free health care because of Hitler Doug Ford. And the Liberal Party’s Hill Times has a number of stories that right wing Sheer and right wing Conservatives are sowing anger and division. The Hill Times reminds everyone to obey and worship Great Leader. Obey, OBEY!!

  21. Why take responsibility when you can blame Canada?

“In recent days, the sequencing of new cases has revealed a surprising new possibility. A series of cases in British Columbia carried a genetic footprint very similar to the case of the Wuhan traveler. That opened up the possibility that someone could have carried that same branch of the virus from Wuhan to British Columbia or somewhere else in the region at nearly the same time. Perhaps it was that person whose illness had sparked the fateful outbreak.”

  22. Don’t Give Baggage Handlers Guns!

Joy McCabe, who lives next to the fire hall, said she looked out Sunday to see a police car pull up and two men dressed like police officers get out. They whipped out their guns and started firing in the direction of the building.
“I ducked down and I yelled at my husband to get down,” said McCabe. “I am still scared.”
She said she heard six shots. When she looked up again she saw a man crouched down between two cars. Soon after the shots rang out, the men in RCMP uniforms and the man between the cars left. It’s not clear where they went.

  23. I note that Alberta has now added public use of masks to their prevention talking points. Great, truly. But this took way too long.

The chi-com-covid is a threat. Our response to the chi-com-covid threat, is another type of threat. Two threats. Saudi & Russian hyjinxes have flattened the oil market, a third threat. Theres still more obviously but…

We need to get our economy moving again without creating opportunities for the other threats to nail us.

Act as if you have asymptomatic version of the chi-com-covid. Put on a mask or bandana, keep physical distance, wash your hands. If enough grown ups did these simple things, we wouldn’t need the lock down bs any more. How is this not something we can do, ourselves, now?

  24. True North website reports on the many connections the Liberal Party has with the communist government in China. True North also reports on CBC’s Rosemary Barton laughing at a student who is interested in working on a farm.

  26. This guy just takes the data and walks you through what he sees. All very transparent and you can even do it yourself.

It is a bit long because he is explaining things as he goes along, but TL;DW – The rise and fall in the number of positive tested cases is very similar from country to country in his examination of the numbers, regardless of actions taken by the country.

Can you tell us what kinds of guns the induvidual who did the shooting owned and registered with the Firearms program the RCMP runs
What kind of guns he used.

You do not know what he was licensed to own at this point ??

    1. The senior mountie is 15 years out of date on firearms licensing as we haven’t had FAC’s since the mid 90’s, we have PAL’s.

at least he was honest so Justin will be pissed he can’t blame law abiding gun owners. Serve Trudeau a large portion of crow

      1. Well that was quite the sh*t show of bilingualism. How much time, money, etc., etc., have been wasted in this country to appease the losers of a war that happened 250 years ago. Bilingualism rant over. To get to the point, if this is the best we have to police our rural communities then it is well past time to disband our national police force. I can well imagine the report that will be generated from this tragedy. With the shortage of TP during the pandemic there won’t be enough left over to clean this mess up.

        1. At one point the translator at the podium is whispering the French question to the senior Mountie

  28. True North reports that the Chinese embassy in Canada, is furious that Canadian politicians have signed a letter condemning China for its cover up of the virus. The embassy calls it immoral and slander.

  29. He used those big guns. The ones that look scary and make a loud bang.

Billie blair can’t say what kind of gun was used or if the perp had a license because he was probably not licensed. I read he had a firearms prohibition on him. So the librano system failed.

Alberta is facing a $20B deficit. Here’s where our money goes:

    1) All health care: $21B
    2) All Education, community and social services and transportation: $18B
    3) everything else in the AB budget: $16B
    4) Funding the rest of Canada: $40B

Which of these should we address?

  31. Man hid in woods for hours after finding brother dead in Portapique

“…“I was watching the news earlier; it really made me sick to my stomach that they didn’t put the emergency alert out,” he said. “If the police had have put the emergency alert out, I would have got it on my phone hiding in the woods and I would have known what was going on. And it could have saved some more lives.

“The police could have handled this definitely a lot better.

“I hid in the woods for about four hours, staring up the sky, freezing to death, looking for red flashing lights that never came – for hours, hours.

“People were in there burning to death and dying and it took hours for a response. That’s not right. That’s not right at all.”

When he was taken to the firehall, Ellison said he observed more police personnel “than they knew what to do with. They were all standing around while people were dying.

“It’s your job to serve and protect, … not sit back and watch while people are being killed. I would have (gone) in there. I went up looking for my brother. I didn’t have a bulletproof vest, I never had a gun, but I went. They should have too.”

L- 1st responders are the people experiencing the emergency, who respond then and there. Everyone else
are 2nd responders or 3rd. Response times may vary when calling 9-11, from 30 seconds to 12 hours or more.

    1. And this is exactly why you never, ever surrender your guns. The Police are useless and will not defend or save you. They are tax collectors with guns. Do not submit and do not surrender your guns. Defend yourselves it is your Right Under Canadian Law inspite of your brainwashing. It is your right since before Canada was created.
