  1. Perhaps Rosemary can be on their exciting new show “Fridge Wars”. Or maybe they will give her a program where she explains how wonderful Blackie is.

    1. She is being demoted to Chief Political Correspondent, so in that role she will be saying how wonderful the Rt. Hon. Trudeau is.

    2. “Fridge Wars”? Nope. More like the host of “I Smell Shit” for that perpetual look on her pumpkin. It would be all about attacking and slandering anyone who wasn’t a Lieberal.

    1. My thought exactly….
or as Chief Political Correspondent she will be spending more time stalking Trudeau and meeting him on street corners.
      How quaint.
      Where is Sophie BTW?

  2. The CBC will not change unless the Executive Producer gets fired… The talking head does what it’s told

The CBC Producer & Host on the Morning show are OLD Style and reasonable….Move them to prime time!

  3. She would make a great co-host for Rotten Ronny.
    Rosie Night in Canada
    watch those ratings climb

  4. Chief political correspondent is right up Barton’s alley.
I’m betting their ratings are at an all time low.

  5. so.
    she’s female and a reporter.
    did she get groped?
on that general topic, ol harve winestain’s stock price hit a new low.
my prediction, mr walker-assistive-apparatus headed for prison.
    will he do an epstein?

  6. One clown down, three more trough piggies to go, after which, the Notional could be anchored by Rex. That would get ratings up at the old limp CBC.

    1. Only if they gave him unfettered control of his content, and maybe Don Cherry as co-host.

Odds of the CBC doing any of that? – nil.

  7. Things you will see on the CBC. True North reports that Canada’s favourite terrorist Omar Khadr will be the guest speaker at Dalhousie University. The CBC will be hosting it.

    1. Now there is one Jihadi that has turned his life around. Its a wonder what $10.5 million bucks will do for a guys popularity.

      1. You mean $10.5 million of our money, don’t you? Poor little Omar didn’t earn a penny of it.

        1. I am glad that Khadr got that money at the expense of racist white Canadians. As our numbers increase (we immigrants) we will vote Liberal and NDP in massive numbers to make sure that the KKKonservatives never win an election again.

Face it baggers: even the business community wants immigrants and sees them as being more valuable and useful than lazy “old stock” Canadians. Jason Kenney and Harper were happy to oblige them by increasing the TFW numbers.

So to sum it up: immigrants are good for business AND for increasing progressive voters. It’s win-win!

  8. “Our audience told us they want to know what they can expect night to night.”

I think they meant to say was…

“Our audience told us she wants to know what she can expect night to night.”

  9. I’m sorry, but this “news” means nothing to me. I’ve heard of this person, but couldn’t pick her out in a lineup. I never watch CBC. I don’t even know what channel it is.

  10. Barton, the Spawn, and CBC are part of a Canada I want nothing to do with. That the CBC exists is or should be an embarrassment to every rational Canadian. Asking the Spawn what is his favourite colour does not interest me. That the Spawn is Canada’s PM is the moral equivalence of and a related function of the CBC’s existence.

  11. There’s only one thing I’d like to no longer see on CBC.

    The CBC itself.

It’s a vestigial and partisan appendix on the media that no longer serves any purpose, other than jobs for out of touch media types, uninspiring, boring, untalented programming and Grit propagandists.

    Kill it dead Mr McKay.

If you do they’ll spend the next four years navel gazing rather than checking your gay parade attendance.

  12. Other than the very occasional hockey game I never see ANYTHING on Mothercorpse. Barton is the one who ‘impartially’ hosted the leaders’ debate while she was suing the CPC, isn’t she? Nothing I have to say about her is fit for civil company.
