I was reminded of that this morning. One of the numerous cultural diversifiers that live in my apartment complex was clearing snow off her car but she didn’t do a very good job of it. There was still lots of snow on the roof and the hood, as well as partly covering a headlight.
I told her to clear it all off because as it was, she’d be a hazard on the road. She looked at me as if she either didn’t understand me (which is possible–there’s a reason why there’s someone on staff her who acts as a translator) or she thought I was being a white trash racist.
Sure enough, she took off with all that snow still on her vehicle. No wonder my car insurance has been going up a lot in recent years.

It’s not just that. I’ve driven behind vehicles from which a large sheet of snow suddenly falls off. Some of it might land on my windshield, temporarily blocking my view.
I thought she might have had the good sense to appreciate that. But, like I wrote, I’m sure that pointing out that she didn’t finish the job was–or would be–considered an act of racism.
steakman, OK, that was a good one. My father-in law was blind yet did not have his licence removed or his moose hunting licence taken. . That may give my identity away to some but we always laughed about it as did his sons who would go hunt on his tag and take him along. He was in the draw every year and almost always got a licence. He always loved being in the outdoors even though he was blind.

What happens when the New York Stock Exchange decides to rename itself the United States Stock Exchange, and then moves to a friendlier climate? It is all run by computer servers, open outcry trading is so llast century. Why do the servers need to be in NYC? Atlanta, Dallas, Charlotte and a dozen other cities would love to be the home of the US Stock Market.
What happens then? NYC Dies. Broadway dies. The city’s finances collapse as all the 5,000 taxpayers that keep NYC afloat exit. These millionaire and billionaire financial people along with their salaries and taxes leave. Once it starts it will be irreversible. And NYC will look and feel like Detroit.

media have been lying to us, telling us bed bugs are because of tourism.
well maybe 1 or 2 % of them are, but the main source of bed bugs is refugees, illegals and various immigrants from third world nations where hygiene and such things are about 500 years behind the west
eventually diversity will get us all killed, not with bed bugs but with a virus
