    1. It is not surprising that Boehner is working for China,,,,Yep! he was a loser crying all the way to the Bank

    1. 13,000 years ago was the beginning of the first human settlements and agriculture, the result was a small excess of food and other resources, thus liberals who wanted to control all the other people and resources were born – the hot air from their pronouncements and self righteousness melted the glaciers.

An explanation as good as any other. No one really knows.

      1. oh yea? what about the previous meltings? i propose an atmospheric river forcing in the duration of 40 days and 49 nights. I have seen perfect ski snow disappear in one night from rain events.

        ironbrian

    2. What is wrong with a little melting of an ice age 13.000 years ago?

I would rather live in a climate change that has 40 or 50 degrees during winter,
instead of freezing my ass off up in Canada.

  1. Canada is a corpse consumed by maggots, with liberals acting as the maggots and conservatives as “rooting for the corpse”.

  2. We have studied just about everything possible that can be taxed, now how about working on adapting to any changes warm or cold that may occur with or without our help. By the way, adapting is all we have ever been able to do when it comes to what the planet is doing. Let’s use the so called carbon tax to study ways that we can feed ourselves and survive as opposed to flushing the tax on useless trough lickers.

    1. Familly food bills are projected to jump $500 this coming year. This “fact” is stated by the media but no reason given. Can anyone guess why?

Also, can anyone guess why inflation has been “Andy-sized” for the past whenever, when many bills have doubled, over the past 10 years, say. Dentistry, insurance, gas, food, housing, taxes, anyone?

I blame a politicized Stats Canada and a thieving government?

      1. Constant increases in the debt, constant increases in the money supply, constant increases in taxes, constant increases in welfare immigration, all work to increase every freaking cost in the country. Canadians are illiterate when it comes to economics, heh, maybe just about everything else as well.

    2. might I suggest we institute a penis tax. those liberal pricks would be broke because there is no end to them

  3. Post Millennial asks, how many private jets does Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau need for his vacation in Costa Rica. Apparently at least two. While Boris Johnston travels on an economy flight to St. Lucia, Blackie has two private jets standing by.

    1. https://www.thepostmillennial.com/how-many-private-jets-does-justin-trudeau-need-for-his-vacation/
But lets go easy on K-bec’s Retard, we know his many bodyguards need paid vacations as well. If he brought his even dumber wife and the three spawn that would require a couple maids and possibly a chef as well.

So who determines the PMO’s budget? Is it the Privy Council? And how much is it? I hunted a bit, no luck.
The dickhead makes 350,000 a year but does he pay for anything?

        1. Buddy, those jets were not flown anywhere at that price. The total would not even supply a full load of fuel.

        2. Ancient business trick. Bring one or several of your subordinates, they claim all the expenses, you sign the authorization. You claim only one $1467.78 round of drinks yourself.

          Happy New Year everyone.

    1. Now comes a man with a sense of humor. Tickle me I laugh. Ha Ha Ha…
Most folks IJ would not know a Milankovitch Cycle if they fell over one on the sidewalk

  4. From what I understand, because of these Milankovitch Cycles, the British Columbia (Canada) government is now to going to revoke its 128% “carbon” tax on domestic natural gas usage.

And Andrew Weaver, leader of the BC Green Party, is going to return the “incentive” he received from the BC government for the EV he purchased in early 2019.

I could be wrong on those two counts, though.

  5. I love [man’s ignorance of] science, like this video, where the author mentions La Nina and El Nino representing the cooling and warming of the Pacific Ocean, without mentioning what causes the cooling or warming…

    1. We all know that the largest mass on earth, our Oceans and bodies of water, were all heated and cooled by CO2. You know, that trace gas which makes up .003% of our atmosphere. Even if we turned off the sun. According to all the learned men in Gubmint and the IPCC and the highly educated wombats in Universities this .003% gas could heat and cool our whole planet without Good Old Sol. The sun is no longer relevant in the new science. It may as well not exist. And great masses of fools agree, and agree to surrender their property via taxes, based on this idiocy. It is as if no one ever questions or allows themselves to reason for themselves. The sooner Kates asteroid hits the better off we will all be.

      1. Exactly, Watcher. The heat contents are mind-boggling. If you took the amount of energy that would be needed to change the temperature of the entire atmosphere by 1 degree, and calculate out how much of the oceans would be heated 1 degree by that same amount of energy, the answer comes close to the top 10 feet of the ocean. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that most of the ocean is significantly deeper than 10 feet / 3 metres.

The general circulation models are modelling the wrong fluid for the heat balance of the earth. And there are still far too many unknowns in the models for them to be useful.

      2. “our Oceans and bodies of water”

Are just big pots of water sitting on top of a stove called the earth. Down below is a massive molten core sending heat to the surface causing all the warming.

What I say is true. I read it on the internet.

  6. From Universe Today on Milankovitch (M) cycles…

“The Milankovitch Cycles are among the arguments fielded by detractors of the Global Warming concept. According to them, the Earth’s current warming is just a part of a series of cyclical events that take thousands of years to complete, and hence cannot be prevented.”

    https://www.universetoday.com/39012/milankovitch-cycle/

I hadn’t read before that M cycles and Global Warming were mutually exclusive. It is obvious that these cycles play some role in our long term climate and that you cannot prevent the cycles from happening (unless you could stop the Earth’s orbit, stop the Earth itself, or suspend the force of gravity). But Universe Today introduces an interesting problem. According to their writer, if you are a “promoter” of the global warming concept then you cannot believe that natural earth cycles play a measurable role in a changing climate. To balance the universe you need an equal number of deniers on both sides.

One of my problems with M cycles is the fact that they do not correlate well with the temperature record. You need some tipping point, a combination of forcings, a switch from one cycle dominating to another without explanation, etc in order to justify the difference between the cycle periodicities and the non-correlating temperature records. So there is something in there we do not know.

    1. You need a trace gas like CO2 which makes up .003% of the atmosphere. This will control the universe for you. It works the great minds say it works. Turn off all the heat in your house. Turn off all the lights. And let off a Budweiser Beer Fart. And the whole house with no lights on and no other source of heat will immediately start to over heat ask Al Gore and Trudeau. This is science this is the IPCC this I consensus of thousands and thousands of scientists. You believe and are being taxed on this hypothesis today…. Embrace The Fart.

      1. Embrace The Fart.

The country’s been doing that ever since it elected him as PM in 2015.

    2. From Wikipedia:
“Interglacials and glacials coincide with cyclic changes in the Earth’s orbit. Three orbital variations contribute to interglacials. The first is a change in the Earth’s orbit around the sun, or eccentricity. The second is a shift in the tilt of the Earth’s axis, or obliquity. The third is the wobbling motion of Earth’s axis, or precession.”
Later on the sun is mentioned but only in terms of the eccentricity of earth’s orbit, nothing about solar activity at all.
I bet there’s 500 factors but discounting the sun itself in a synopsis of earth temperature is full retard.

      1. From http://www.atmosp.physics.utoronto.ca/people/guido/PHY2502/articles/orbital/Berger_Loutre_1994.pdf

“The 100 ka cycle (orbital eccentricity) does not exhibit a constant amplitude over the past 2-3 million years”.

“The periodicity seems to disappear before 10^6 years ago”.

“In any case … [the] 100 ka [cycle] is not enough to cause a direct climate change of ice-age magnitude” (which is estimated to be 0.3% or less than 1 degree for a full orbital precession.

When you read the scientific literature it is clear that the scientists cannot establish a clear correlation between M cycles and ice-ages, yet the summaries of the science (not the articles themselves) make it seem as though there is a clear consensus. Scientists would rather be wrong than admit not knowing.

    3. The M-cycles not only adapt thelevel of input, they change it’s location on the planet in latitude and timing; at present most falls between +/-30 degrees of the equator and passes mostly over the ocean. There are other changes between, and within, M-cycles. For example, 6MYears ago, the Pacific and Atlantic oceans were separated by the meso-American volcanoes; that certainly would have modified the climate as it would have radically changed the ocean, therefore heat, circulation, therefore also changing weather patterns.

So, any simplistic linear analysis of the climate is a waste of time.

    1. This military strike is a YUGE Deal. President Trump has said nothing about it either on twitter or as a White House release.
The last time President Trump directed an American strike against Syria it was 50 cruise missiles, not piloted F-15 Strike Eagles.
The use of piloted airstrikes is a significant undertaking given that President Trump does not like to put American servicemen in harm’s way.
Mark my words, something unusual is happening here.

  7. I see many here are dispirited by the election result, the natural Ruling Party in power as usual and an ineffective “conservative” party that is CINO. Our Liberal media are also suggesting we should adopt Liberal policies and leaders to boot.

Well, it’s time to be creative, put your thinking caps on. Any approach we take, and I’m including the PPC in that WE, WILL BE distorted/ignored/lied about by the Liberal media.

For a start, don’t rise to the bait. When accused of “racism” ignore it and carry on with your point. Insist on getting your point over, ignore the spin. The Liberal lobbyist I was speaking to last week stated the PPC were opposed to immigration but we were talking about a completely different subject, one on which I finally wrung some agreement.

Trump and Bolsanaro and BoJo (Boris Johnson) show the way: attack the media as bought-and-paid partisans of the Liberal Party, make defunding it a policy, which it is for the PPC.

    1. As I said above Canada is a rotting corpse. The Liberal/NDP/Green Commies are the Maggots and the Con Commie’s are rooting for the corpse. Bury the stinking think already. Canada is done.

    2. My favorite response to the Racist gambit is to call the speaker a liar. I won’t put up with it. Often it will be followed with a “don’t you think?” or “don’t you agree?” type question that has no basis in reality. I like to bring up Hedy Fry and ask the speaker if they’re trying to actively lie (like she did) or they just don’t know any better.

  8. Let me fix that headline for you.

Wish list masquerading as predictions – Joe Biden will face Mike Pence.

Add to that more ridiculous wishful thinking from the Grit Star such as Trump resigns to get a pardon, and of course Brexit fails, North Korea takes us “back to the brink,” hard to do when you were never at the brink, except possible brinkmanship.

These guys remind me of Sly Stallone using Rambo to win the Viet Nam War, just make up a story and pretend it’s reality.

Quite laughable and quite desperate from the folks who don’t understand they are the statist disease and Trump is the cure.

Can’t wait for a year to check on these fantasies, I mean “predictions.”

Leftist predictions so far have been way off without them giving scant consideration to the possibility they’re wrong.

    https://www.thestar.com/opinion/contributors/2019/12/29/joe-biden-will-face-mike-pence-plus-nine-other-headlines-youll-read-in-2020.html

    1. These ‘predictions’ by dying newspapers are laughable particularly these days when you can quickly go back to the predictions and prove them wrong.
Years ago the predictions were used to line bird cages and too full of shit(literally) to take back to the newspaper to dispute or they were used to light a fire and gone. No one would hold on to the predictions to see if they were correct.
What people need to do now is hold them accountable for their predictions and tell everyone 12 months later how stupid they were after none come to pass.
This would show more of the mindless idiots that follow the Toronto Star and other such publications how stupid they are to even read the tripe they come up with.

    2. “Trump resigns to get a pardon”

If he lost the 2020 election that is not a bad idea. He could pardon Pence for all federal crimes a week before his term is up, then resign, and Pence could pardon him. Maybe too much appearance of quid pro quo.

    1. Oops! My apologies this was / is old news!
( or am ahead of myself? It’s going to happen again & again & again, time for the senile old man to hang up his government talking points)

      1. The man is harassing people with his sleazy ways. He should’ve had counseling decades ago. It’s not like he gets any encouragement. Someone should put pepper on a wig and let Joe the perv sniff away.

  9. Rex Murphy at the National Post website writes about Boris Johnston’s reaction to the attacks against Jews.

      1. He hits that nail on the head.
Moslems are taught to hate Jews and Israel from day one. Import them and you import their hate. Then there are the conspiracy theory whack-jobs who think “the Joos” run the world. Lastly there are the old skool Jew haters who come by it through breeding or is it inbreeding – people like Blackie McBlackface who tolerate self-hating Jews but would eliminate Israel in a heartbeat.

      2. Oh, very fine words indeed from BoJo.

If he were the least bit serious about defending British Jewry, and not just making fine speeches, he would be getting to work organizing the expulsion of Britain’s Muslims.

  10. British Columbia will be phasing out insurance coverage of originator biologicals and switching to biosimilars. Biologicals help people who have autoimmune disorders, such as psoriasis or Crohn’s. The problem with biosimilars, is that they don’t work for everybody. Granted, not every biological will work for everybody. The problem is, people will be losing options, and if they can’t find a biosimilar that works, they’ll be hard-pressed to get a biological by themselves. Yes, biologicals are expensive, but my husband and my sister-in-law both rely on them. Both still live with pain and still have some issues with their autoimmune disorders, but the biologicals are what enable them to work and carry on something resembling a normal life.

  11. Was watching CPAC,”outbursts” subject being Concern about Western Separation..We need to use those shows as adds for Independence,as we could never parody the reality of these santimonious wankers.
Eastern Concern Troll after troll (Do-gooder?)
How do you mock a “Educated Man” stating how “bad” fossil fuels are while wearing fully synthetic clothing?
Climate Change Cultist, all advising us Westerners about non existent ills, while fully decked out in Gortex, not a natural fibre on their bodies clutching their “smart phones”..As they drivel on about Climate Change Bad..
OK, I agree Climate Change Bad,bring back the Laurentian Ice Sheet.
We must restore the Continent to its pristine condition before the arrival of man.
Fire up those ice making machines…The Cult of Calamitous Climate demands it.

  12. How wonderful. The MP from Quebec who hates Alberta, and is now Blackie’s Heritage Minister wants to increase funding to the CBC. Apparently 1.2 billion dollars isn’t enough to produce programs nobody watches. Well, Blackie has to repay the CBC for all the support they gave him during the election. Story is at True North.

    1. Yep. Pretty clear to me, this Hamish guy started with the wrong ideas, and he still has them.

All you had to do was put up a billboard with Bollywood Trudeau dancing around on it, and ask the simple question “Do you really want more Prime Minister this?”

Maybe mix in some footage of him flying on private jets to tropical vacations to fight climate emergencies… Sipping beverages on the beach while people in Vancouver wait in line for to buy gasoline… Sewage floating on the St. Lawrence and Lac Megantic on fire with pictures of Climate Barbie pretending to fish…

  13. An honest piece of journalism from CBC. I know! I was surprised too.

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/winnipeg-homicides-data-1.5404192

Trying to make sense of Winnipeg’s homicides since the early 1980s. The police acknowledge most of the victims are indigenous men killed [mostly stabbed but also beaten or shot] by other indigenous men under the age of 30 on a Saturday night at 2:00am.

2018 was a banner year (over 40 in a population of 750,000). Not even close to Baltimore (340) but pretty bad for Canada.

  14. Excuse if already posted, but here’s a few sentences about the site “Suspicious Observers” It’s complex but interesting to dive into when you want some perspective about Earth as a body in Space instead of the zombie hysteria about what ’causes’ weather patterns.

‘Welcome to Suspicious0bservers (just add dot com) an online research community investigating solar activity, earthquakes, astrophysics and weather. Today’s earth & sun report is below, along with a number of valuable video resources. Over 350 hours of content are available when you become a member. Eyes open, no fear.’

You don’t have to be a member to watch good videos. Membership allows frequent up to date commentary on space weather.

    1. A poll. Yes handguns have been restricted in Canada since 1935. Nevertheless we want a new country and it’s time to emphasize how different we in Alberta, culturally are. I welcome any chance to demonstrate the Unity of Culture we have here in Alberta and the different way we view how life ought to be lived. Alberta is God’s country, God gave us Life, and he also gave us a command to defend that gift.
      Luke 22:36
Then said he(Jesus Christ) unto them, “But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.”

You know how Liberals say that AR-15s are only for war? Well, in Jesus day, so were swords.

  15. I have a friend, yes 1 friend and he has a Dachshund named Itty Bitty of all things. Anyway he was up from the coast for Christmas and he brought his fishing buddy Itty Bitty. He took her as a tiny puppy supposed to be only for a couple of weeks until she found a home. Anyway this big bully type guy would not give her up. He was a fisherman on the coast for some years so naturally Itty Bitty went fishing a lot. She loves fishing. When he catches a fish she actually leaps over the side and attacks his fish. He has to scoop both her and his fish with his net. Then once in the boat she attacks the fish. If he is doing catch and release, he has to feint throwing the fish as she will leap back in and drag the fish back to the boat and won’t let the fish go. He gave me a video he made of her attacking this huge Cultus Cod/Ling fish he caught. But I don’t know how to post it here so snipped a still of the Vicious Miss Itty Bitty. Heck that don’t work either too bad she is a blast. The fish is like 3 ft long and she would fit in its mouth and she is just attacking the dang thing. Maybe Miss Kate could post the video of Itty Bitty it is priceless.

    1. I know all about what you described.

A few months after my parents got their first dachshund, we all visited our relatives on Vancouver Island. I remember when we went fishing one day and we caught several rock cod. The critter, a gorgeous long-haired female dackel, was fascinated by the fish as they were lying on the bottom of the boat, flopping back and forth. She went over and poked some of them with her nose because she found their movements amusing.

She was just a puppy then and the fish were, maybe, 3/4 as long as she was, but she still treated them as toys to be played with.

      1. That is cute NR. Miss Itty Bitty is such a savage when it comes to fishing. She literally loses her cotton picking mind. Reminds me of my kids when I was teaching them to fish. They would lose their mind when they caught a fish. Nothing better than mucking around the water, fishing or exploring. One of the things I am glad I taught them. My two girls still love fishing and do so with their families now. I was in the US for awhile and my daughter came to see me. First thing we did was go fishing. It was Dad let’s go fishing. Ha Ha Ha
