L- Those who’ve lived some history and studied more, posses a certain perspective, one that the untutored and moribund MSM do not.

  2. To all who believe that the God of Israel is the One God Who created the heavens and the earth: may you pass a truly joyful Christmas.

To everyone else: you’ve spent the last 2000 years trying to co-opt or stamp out the Gospel. If you have time to get stumbling drunk or pick fights with your insufficiently woke relatives this Christmas, you have time to think about why you keep failing to blot out the Name of the God of Israel.

    1. Well said AC. Although not a religious person myself..I lean to the agnostic side, However, I have not, nor ever will disparge Christianity and the RIGHT moral underpinnings thereof.

No other religion can lay claim to the last part of previous sentence.

      Cheers and Merry Christmas..!!
& in my native toongue.. Vrolijk Kerstfeest..!!

  3. Merry Christmas Kate, Lance, Robert, CC, and the rest those who keep us informed and amused with the going-ons of each day here at SDA.

Also, to all the contributors and commentors on this wonderful blog, may each and every one of us stop and ponder and stand in amazement of the miracle of Christmas, Jesus the Christ. This day that the whole world in some way acknowledges this day is significant, some who understand and are impacted by it profoundly, others who just participate and feel the twinges of happiness from doing something nice or special to friends, families and strangers alike.

May the Prince of Peace touch you all today in some tangible way.

    Merry Christmas

  4. Canadian under arrest in Mideast for exposing corruption.

“Radio Canada International reported in May that the 65-year old metals trader flagged fraud to the chairman of Gold AE, who is a member of the royal family. The executives were charged criminally but fled the country. Gauthier, the whistleblower, was then made the fall guy for the missing $30 million, even though he was not even in the country when it went missing, he told RCI.”

“I think [Canadian prime minister Justin] Trudeau now has to stand like a man,” son Alexis told RCI.

I hope the PM and your Foreign Office step up so Andre Gauthier is home soon.

Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukkah to all.

    1. One of the advantages of an infrared telescope is that one can often see what is obscured by dust clouds in visible light. Spitzer is slowly reaching the end of its operational life. It would be nice if the James Webb instrument can be successfully launched and deployed to continue with these types of observations.

  5. Merry Christmas to all SDA readers and especially to Hans..you gave me beautiful words when my twin passed away.If it’s Hanz I apologize.

  6. …and a Merry Christmas from our little, and poor, New Brunswick. Have a fun holiday. Blessings, David.

  10. Unless the December jobs report is greater than 1.2 million, Trump will have created less jobs in his first 3 years than Obama in his last 3.

  11. pretty light vanilla treatment of Christmas , almost ignores the first 300 years. doesnt mention Nick is a Turkish bishop. spins over the Germanic origin of the Christmas tree brought to Victorian England by Albert. and right to Coca Cola .
misses the great schism and the two or three dates for Christmas. typical journalism for the 21 century

  12. Merry Christmas to all. Let us, however, remember today the Christians who are celebrating Jesus’ birth under serious threat of persecution and/or death. Being able to peaceably worship is a blessing in itself.
