The raw (unadjusted) data from three Indian Ocean gauges – Aden, Karachi and Mumbai – showed that local sea level trends in the last 140 years had been very gently rising, neutral or negative (ie sea levels had fallen).
But after the evidence had been adjusted by tidal records gatekeepers at the global databank Permanent Service for Mean Sea Level (PSMSL) it suddenly showed a sharp and dramatic rise.
The whistle was blown by two Australian scientists Dr. Albert Parker and Dr. Clifford Ollier in a paper for Earth Systems and Environment.

The Sea level nonsense fails to understand that the Sea/Ocean Floor is independent from the Land Mass… The Continental shelf is where the Sea/Ocean floor folds under the land Mass and returns to the mantel…..The Sea/Ocean floor is constantly expanding (growing)…..
The AGW freaks deliberately associate water levels are related to a common floor like the Great lakes, or all waters on the Continent… Melting glaciers will increase Continental water levels, but that water is drained to the Sea/Ocean where the floor is independent and automatically (per laws of Gravity) adjusts its bottom & capacity relative to the Land Mass (Like Tidal Levels)….. The opposite result to the AGW freak prediction levels would be expected….
Like I’ve said before, climate science is the equivalent of Lysenko’s agricultural science. The adjustment of data to fit the conclusion is a dead giveaway, always ignored. Or in my favorite quote, this science is “A lie agreed upon”

Before I get called a denier. Anthropogenic global warming and temperatures being affected by CO2 is not what I question. It is *catastrophic* anthropogenic global warming that I think is wrong.
CO2 has caused mild warming but it is one of many variables that affect global temperatures. CO2 is not even the main driver. It is the exaggeration, hysteria and talk of looming Apocalypse of *catastrophic* anthropogenic global warming that is ridiculous.
I’d suspect a doubling of CO2 concentrations causes about 1.2C warming, just like straight physics would predict.
Bennet, it is time to stop arguing about CO2, the sun drives the climate, only a total and complete moron would think otherwise. I am not saying you are but it is time stop with the CO2 nonsense. Fact, 0.04% of the atmosphere drives nothing except insanity.
The original science behind CO2 warming is pretty solid. It did not claim the carbon dioxide was the control knob for global climate, only that it had an effect. A small effect.
The sun is the main driver but so are the magnetic poles (they flip), volcanic eruptions, meteorites, ocean cycles like the AMO and PDO, etc. There a many variables, each with it’s own minimum and maximum magnitude level of effect. It creates a balance evolved over billions of years.
The myopic focus on just one minor atmospheric trace gas is bizarre.
The earth is a self-regulating system. When one component goes out of balance, it causes various NATURAL reactions (such as multiple ways of sequestering Co2) … the one-way, hysterical, catastrophic, “scientific” prognostications are no different than “psychics” promising to solve cold case crimes … for a generous $Fee$
Sea level rise must be a fiction. it has not gone up at all in North Sydney, Cape Breton in over 75 years. I guess that would be one of those uncomfortable truths. I guess the run to NFLD is safe for now. Maybe when Greenland is all green they will have a problem, not.

The planet is “dynamic” not static. Nothing stays the same for long, geologically speaking. It may be too slow for impatient people, but look at ourselves…how long have we been around vs the planet itself? Up against 4.5 BILLION years vs 3.5 MILLION years. About 75,000 years ago humans were reduced to a “few” souls with just one eruption in SE Asia.
