I guess when they decide the Senate is on Native land she’l be the only sitting member.
You forgot the h in sitting.
Sorry Buddy, but you’re wrong on this one.
She has no anus. The toxins just build up until she’s the perfect brown-eyed Democratic candidate.
So much for Pocahontas. That leaves Senile Joe, Pete the Queer and Citizen Mike.
President Trump can look forward to four more glorious years.
I saw that in the bottom link…..Biden takes the lead
Biden takes the lead….the impact from that takes a few mins to register
Is that “lead” as in a “foremost position”, lined up for a “gold medal”, etc., or Lead” the dense and slightly toxic metal, as described by Bogart’s character in “The Maltese Falcon” as “The stuff dreams are made of”?
I read that as being a “Dancing with the Stars” episode where Joe was paired with a tranny and the dance revolves around figuring out who is leading.
Don’t forget the Member from the Soviet Union, Bernie Brah. He’s still in the running, hating America as much as ever!
“The Army has also been criticized more generally for the seemingly disproportionate number of Medals of Honor awarded in connection with the battle. For comparison, 20 Medals were awarded at Wounded Knee, 21 at the Battle of Cedar Creek, and 20 at the Battle of Antietam. Respectively, Cedar Creek and Antietum involved 52,712 and 113,000 troops, suffering 8,674 and 22,717 casualties. Wounded Knee, however, involved 610 combatants and resulted in as many as 705 casualties (including non-combatants).”
20 medals ! Sounds like someone in authority was trying to cover up embarrassing facts about the “battle”.
My wife is part Sioux and her grandfather was at the battle of Wounded Knee just after it was over, taking moccasins off of dead Indians with his family to wear and to sell. She believes Indians are pathetic wards of the government. Where we live has reservations in all 4 directions. If you want to leave here by major roads you have to go through one of them and my God there is a reason Indians around here are called Prairie &iggers.
Her *grandfather* was old enough to walk around ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY NINE YEARS AGO?
My father was born 1920, and it is only good luck his father was not born before 1880. His grandmother was born in 1860, so this is a close shot.
My paternal grandfather was born in 1862, he could have easily been there in 1890.
She always sounds like she is an easily frightened lying crazy person.
This confirms it.
…and she’s in the top 3 of their candidates
I find it crazy that this fake Indian would draw even more attention to the fact that she lied about being an Indian to further her career by being a member of a ‘victim’ group.
That women should go to jail for what she wants to do.
The polls show that the Democrats would rather have an old dullard child-fondling crook (Biden) than a far leftist, academic, identity politics-obsessed poseur who thinks rewriting History is more important than, I don’t know, preventing the US from going broke? I know, that’s not fair as no one from either Party wants to do that.
Given his competition, the only way Trump can blow the 2020 election is if he takes advice from Scheer or someone from his campaign team.
The real battle? Who would be the VP candidate running with Biden?
Downside for us, is she’s giving Trudeau and that old crazy coot Bennett ideas for more giveaways and public crying fits in faux compassion.
Chief Dan George: “Now Spit”
Clint (in character) Pale Rider?: Ptooi
Outlaw Josey Wales. My favourite movie, a classic Libertarian manifesto – arguably Clint’s best work.
Josey Wales: I came here to die with you. Or live with you. Dying ain’t so hard for men like you and me. It’s living that’s hard when all you’ve ever cared about has been butchered or raped. Governments don’t live together–people live together. With governments, you don’t always get a fair word or a fair fight. Well, I’ve come here to give you either one or get either one from you. I came here like this so you’ll know my word of death is true, and my word of life is then true. The bear lives here, the wolf, the antelope, the Comanche. And so will we. Now we’ll only hunt what we need to live on, same as the Comanche does. And every spring, when the grass turns green, and the Comanche moves north, you can rest here in peace, butcher some of our cattle, and jerk beef for the journey. The sign of the Comanche, that will be on our lodge. That’s my word of life.
Ten Bears: And your word of death?
Josey Wales: It’s here in my pistols and there in your rifles. I’m here for either one.
Ten Bears: These things you say we will have, we already have.
Josey Wales: That’s true. I ain’t promising you nothing extra. I’m just giving you life and you’re giving me life. And I’m saying that men can live together without butchering one another.
Ten Bears: It’s sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life… or death. It shall be life. [Draws his knife and cuts his and Josey’s palms, then grasps hands with him, becoming blood brothers] So will it be.
Josey Wales: I reckon so.
You know somebody is going to die.
I have ancestors on both sides. Proud of them all.
Good point.
From here (Europe, only Natives are me and my pals), I have a bit difficulty as Kate doesn’t need to explain why something is bad or good since it is evident for her and most of you.
“BREAKING: Senator Elizabeth Warren has introduced a bill that would revoke Medals of Honor from U.S. soldiers involved in the Wounded Knee Massacre of 1890”
I assume this is considered bad (you don’t like Warren for the very obvious reasons). At face value, I don’t see any point of giving Medals of Honor to people involved in a massacre. So could someone please explain me what is this about? Note I’m frank, I have just no knowledge on a controversy, and reading wikipedia doesn’t sound like a working approach in here.
The thing that may be tripping people up on this is the significance of the Medal of Honor (MoH). It didn’t hold the same significance then as it does now. Not even close. Back then, they didn’t have nearly as many types of valor medals to award military personnel, so consequently the MoH was sometimes handed out like candy. Of course that doesn’t discount the ugliness of the wars against the Indians – nor does it excuse the excessive awarding of MoH’s in this particular case…..I don’t know the full details of this engagement. Nonetheless, one can easily go read all of the MoH citations from throughout history and draw one’s own conclusions.
“the MoH was sometimes handed out like candy”
And they have already taken most of those away. The only undeserving ones left are for Wounded Knee. At one time the Medal of Honor was the sole bravery medal.
They took away Buffalo Bill Cody’s Medal of Honor in 1917 after Cody’s death along with those of 4 other Army scouts who were regarded as ineligible civilians. They were given back in 1989 by executive action. To me, not regarding contracted scouts as part of the army is silly as he was reputed to have engaged in 16 battles. Just east of Yellowstone Park in Cody, Wyoming is the fantastic and huge Buffalo Bill museum. It has a big Western Art collection, one of the biggest gun collections, a Buffalo Bill collection, an Indian collection, and a natural history collection.
20 Medals of Honor for killing 300 more or less unarmed Indians, the vast majority being women and children? Coincidentally the soldiers were 7th Cavalry so one has to wonder whether revenge wasn’t involved. Most of the 25 US deaths were friendly fire, such was the exuberance.
18 Medals of Honor have been awarded for Afghanistan and 6 for Iraq plus 2 from Somalia makes 26 since Vietnam. All the wars since Vietnam seems about equal to gunning down 300 mostly women and children? Maybe not.
There is an insult to Canadian troops involving the refusal to award medals. New Zealand awarded one Victorian Cross for Afghanistan, Australia awarded four for Afghanistan, while the UK awarded three for Afghanistan and one for Iraq. Apparently the Canadian authorities deemed no Canadians to be worthy.
scar, didn’t a canadian get an American MoH for action in Afighanistan??
Hey Cupcake how about revoking Obama’s Peace Prize instead
