    1. Lob a couple hundred cruise missiles at military targets in Turkey to let them know there are consequences.

      1. I remember when the company’s catalog was considered to be as alluring as Playboy or the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. That’s all in the past now as PB and SI have also gone PC.

        1. Sports Illustrated is on the brink of going…ahem..tits up.

Last week they announced half of the news room is being laid off. Some digital format is being contemplated.

          Who cares

          1. Who cares

Exactly. I never saw the point of SI. How many times can one re-hash a play or a game, as if what happened on the field or in the arena had some cosmological significance?

      2. Some interesting comments on that, particularly from the former boss:

        https://bit.ly/2q3ulo0

I think it’s more a matter of the company trying to stay in business than in making a political statement. Still, it certainly doesn’t help its image.

  1. Calgary Sun article “NDP accuses legal group of bullying school boards over LGTBQ policies” (link= “https://calgarysun.com/news/local-news/ndp-accuses-legal-group-of-bullying-school-boards-over-lgbtq-policies/wcm/6859a318-8b19-46b2-8604-d25ee85d186e”) has the situation exactly backwards. The Alberta NDP when in government passed legislation prohibiting schools from informing parents about their children’s school activities and eliminated the ability for school administration and staff to use their judgment whether to inform parents. The NDP then bullied schools that challenged this new law by threatening to remove accreditation and eliminate provincial funding at various times including the “rainbow reprimand” which marked up school policies with colour coded categories for phrases that then Education Minister Eggen found unacceptable.

Prohibiting parents from being informed about their children’s school activities (except in the case where abuse is known or reasonably expected) is a violation of parental rights. Furthermore, it assumes that the government via the school has more concern for the student than the parent/guardian and seeks to diminish or sever the family relationship.

If the student leads a double life with support from the school, and the parents are kept ignorant through deliberate secrecy, then where does the student turn for support after graduation? The school is done with them, the parents are estranged, and the student has been embedded in groups outside the school which have their own agendas and no legal or moral responsibility for the student’s wellbeing.

    1. Billy DEE..1000% Bang on.
Communists, for that is what these BASTARDS are, have been and always will be all about Control. Notley and her cabal of Marxist trough feeders no different.

These people should in fact be deported to Venezuela and allowed to join those remaining there to fight with feral cats n dogs for the few scraps of food available. Or we can just round em up and ship em North of 60…either or.

  2. This morning Blackie’s CBC has a heart warming interview with a Canadian who has been living in Belgium for the last 15 years. He is excited that he can now vote, and explains how Trudeau has been wonderful and we must stop the TAR SANDS in Alberta.

    1. Poor soul. Someone should tell him that a prerequisite for having a say in who governs Canada is being a native speaker of Mandarin.

    2. I think citizens voting overseas should only be allowed for those filing Canadian income tax returns and paying any taxes outstanding. Any overdue tax returns, no ballot. Americans require all citizens to file tax returns. Maybe we should start. And strip non-resident dual citizens of their citizenship if they are a few years behind in tax returns. Canadian citizenship could involve give and not all take.

  3. RE: ANTIFA march link, are ANTIFA NAZIs?

ANTIFA are hard left and their roots go back to the struggle between the NAZI socialists (nationalist) and hard left Bolshevik communists. Hitler took out the Black Front hard lefties in 1934 and per Hitler, the war in the east would wipe out the Bolsheviks.

P.S. As for the Hitler youth marchers five years on:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyJVKYwzxD8
Some Germans had realized by 1942 that the war was unwinnable. But then Hitler was an idiot tool of the globalist plantation owners who also helped Stalin industrialize and arm the Soviet Union.

  4. And now the Saturday Toronto Star. Because Toronto and Quebec are the only important places in Canada. Lots of stories on how Justin is wonderful. Its the Justin is wonderful edition. Stories that Scheer is Hitler. Canadians are racist bastards towards seasonal workers from outside the country. Heather Mallick rants about something. Full page ads from Unifor trashing the Conservatives. But please remember, Unifor journalists are unbiased. Just ask Rosemary Barton. Story on how after attending your United Church, you can go for Sunday brunch at a restaurant where you can be served by drag queens. The Liberal Party is wonderful, Justin is wonderful, Canadians are racist bastards.

    1. Looking at some polling I’d say Groper needs all the help he can get. The NDP have gone well up and the Bloc in Quebec are going to pull votes from the Liberals. The advance polls are already busy, no more talk over Thanksgiving to ruin the turkey and change minds for a lot of people.

      1. I’ve been through a lot of election campaigns. If the polls are to be believed bongo has lost traction.

I get the feeling that his 30% support might be soft? Nobody likes a loser and if he cant pull it together immediately it could be one and done.

In the history of the country only once has a first time majority government not won a second term.

      2. The media pulled the same “Orange Surge” stunt when Layton was leader.
Once it becomes obvious that the Liberals are toast, the CBC & co. turn to supporting any other leftie parties. They manufactured support for the NDP back then, and many LIVs got on what they were told was a “trend.”
Look for more and more stories extolling the virtues, popularity, and sincerity of the Dippers and Greens.
No word on their platforms, policies, or the economic ruin their ideas have brought to every jurisdiction they have been tried.
        Every one.
        No exceptions.

        1. Liz, ab and F.T., you three may be right about the Rt. Hon. Trudeau falling in the polls. Why, I cannot understand, but perhaps grassroots talk about him, over water coolers and dinner tables have led voters to turn away from the gilded one and his Liberal party. Perhaps voters are upset at the Laurentian establishment’s obvious corruption (e.g., the “official” debates and the CBC News coverage). Anyways, good news that Trudeau is slipping, at the last days of this campaign. Btw, the Globe and Mail is starting to push Jagmeet Singh’s NDP hard now, while trashing Scheer’s Conservatives. The corporate bosses must like the emerging Liberal-Green-NDP coalition government.

There are positives about this election. Maxime Bernier and the PPC have done well so far, given their first time out. The Rebel Media, the Post Millennial and True North News have been a surprise to me, and have punched way above their small size. They deserve our thanks.

    2. Some wag asked China’s Xi Jinping whose government he most envied.

      He apparently replied:

” Canada without question. The ability for our Liberal comrades to control the populace through their Media is unparalleled in history and the envy of progressive communist governments everywhere.

With such a Media, we could have finished the Long March in 20 minutes!”

  5. Trouble in Newfoundland…

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/pov-bob-hallett-fiscal-crisis-1.5317591

“Saskatchewan came very close to insolvency in 1993. It experienced the same bond rating cuts that threaten N.L., and suddenly the province could no longer finance maturing debt, or borrow any further to fund their deficit. Painted into a corner, it closed 52 hospitals and slashed funding to all other public services.”

“The [Newfoundland] provincial government has said it cannot cut services, and so its only recourse is to borrow more money to make up the shortfall. The Muskrat Falls payments will require an additional $700 million a year [in interest payments alone].”

So what is the Muskrat Falls Project? It is a project to bring “low cost” hydro electricity from Labrador to Newfoundland that will now see a doubling of electricity rates just to cover the borrowing interest…which has resulted in an average debt of $52,000 for every N.L. taxpayer on top of their contribution to the Federal Debt. We should run every province like Newfoundland

      1. Newfoundland was dragged into Confederation when it went broke the first time (during the Great Depression). Essentially, Bay Street and the City of London re-possessed the entire island.

What to do? I know what I’d do—tell Bay Street that the money isn’t there, and nothing St. John’s can realistically do will make it materialize, so Bay Street will have to actually take a loss on their investment.

There’s no hard feelings when they lose money on toy cars powered by unicorn farts for some reason. Why do Newfoundlanders have to pay back every cent or die of cold trying?

        1. Nearly 30 years ago, the markets were in an uproar because of Third World debt. There was no way those countries could pay back what they owed. Eventually, the banks and investment companies decided it was better to take the loss and move on than to continue pressuring those countries to pay back loans with money they didn’t have.

        2. Newfoundland keeps taking the rope that hangs them. $8 billion development for 450,000 people. Let the province screw Bay Street. Then they can line-up to borrow more money.

But what Newfoundland really wants is for Canada to assume this debt so they can avoid the cost directly without having to scale back their government spending (unlike Saskatchewan). I would like that too. How can I get Alberta to pay my credit card purchases so that I don’t have to pay the balance every month in order to avoid interest charges. Need to consult with my French comrades.

      2. “make Newfoundland it’s own realm again”

From 1907 until 1931 it was independent within the British Empire equal to Canada. From 1931 to 1933 it was independent equal to Canada. In 1933 it voluntarily re-assumed colony status. The UK and the treasonous Liberal Joey Smallwood did everything in their power to force Newfoundland into Canada. It was the stupidest thing they could have done. The whole point of Canada is to screw the regions to benefit Ontario and Quebec and they have done well by Newfoundland.

  6. Millions of Canadians will be voting this weekend (I voted yesterday). So even if the polls change between now and Oct. 21, much of the vote will already be baked in the cake. It’s worth looking at the CBC poll tracker followed by the 338Canada seat projections as of Oct. 11.

    Lib: 139
    Con: 137
    BQ: 33
    NDP: 24
    Grn: 4
    PPC: 1

    Lib: 148
    Con: 132
    BQ: 29
    NDP: 24
    Grn: 4
    PPC: 1

Ideally, we’ll get what Elizabeth May wants: a Liberal-NDP-Green “wartime cabinet” to fight the Climate Emergency ™. Which in short order will lead to…

    1.) a made-in-Canada recession
    2.) a national unity crisis

Which in turn will attract attention in the US during an election year. Trump will say this is exactly what the Dems want to do to America with their Green New Deal. And it will greatly help his reelection chances.

Trump’s reelection also makes Alberta/Western separation that much more likely, as he himself would likely encourage it if he ever got wind of it. After an emotional referendum on equalization in 2021, and with a supportive Trump in the White House, the momentum for Alberta independence might become unstoppable.

The worst-case scenario would be a Scheer majority. Conservatives and Westerners would go back to sleep and NOTHING would change, except the Overton Window shifting far to the left as milquetoast Scheerism becomes the new “far right.”

And we’re getting at least 1.5 million new third world immigrants over the next 4 years no matter who wins, making recovery or separation from this self-inflicted mess that much more difficult.

Sometimes worse is better and this is one of those times. Get the ball rolling by voting for Max, which will, insh’allah, lead to a wartime climate government, which will lead to Trump’s reelection, which will lead to a free Alberta/West.

    1. jeppo

Like bongo I’m no math teacher but I can read the ‘writtin’ on the wall’ as rhymin’ Simon (Kodachrome) might say.

If the blackheads do as well as predicted bongo wont need the Sikh terrorist or the lizzard to prop him up.

      1. The Bloc leader is a former environment minister and a weather cultist extraordinaire. Either way, bring on the Climate Emergency ™ / Urgence Climatique (marque déposée) !

        1. Jeppo, what is the difference between the two different seat projections that you posted? Is the first projection, with the Libs only two seats ahead, the most recent projection, or what? Thanks for the info and the post.

          1. I don’t want to link both of them because it might get caught in the spam filter. G**gle CBC poll tracker and 338Canada.

Most of the change is taking place in Quebec.
      Group minds think alike.

    1. Me No Dhimmi..
As I stated before, This completely ASS Backwards decision will have massive repercussions throughout Industry in this Country…a Country that continues to Morally distintegarte and is getting to the point where Leaving this sick Diseased CONfederation is becoming a MUST.

I want a new Country and one where there is NO SUCH thing as a Human Rights INDUSTRY right alonside a complete BAN on Communist Parties regardless of how they’re “dressed” up. Dont like it..?? then GTFO.

    1. The Ukraine is a very corrupt place. Too bad the amazing polly didn’t know that before she set about wasting her time producing this.

She makes some great assumptions. She fails to mention that Freeland back the establishment candidate in the last election and was taken completely off guard when the comedian won.

Corruption is endemic. It is the default option in Ukraine not unlike their close cousins the Rus. It’s in their character.

Sure Soros/Freeland/Chomiak/Clinton/Biden are all in there. That is not news its business as usual in Ukraine.

      1. Hunter Biden was appointed a director at $50,000 per month – $600,000 USD per year. To be a director of a Ukranian oil & gas company! And Joe Biden (former V.P. of the USA) sees this as not a conflict of interest. Not bad for a history major.

        1. “Not bad for a history major.”

After receiving a waiver for past drug abuse he was caught abusing drugs and was booted from the US Navy Reserve. The Ukrainian directorship was corruption given the conflict of interest but Hunter Biden is 50 years old and had been vice-president of a large bank, a US government policy maker and a lobbyist. He is not without significant qualifications.

          1. And if he wasn’t Joe Biden’s son, what kind of resume would he have? In a Chelsea Clinton kind of asking…

          2. And another innocent question. Of all the people in the world, why would a Ukrainian oil & gas company come to the USA and hire drug dependent Hunter Biden as a director? Excluding the fact that his father was the Vice President of the United States of America?

    1. They’re hushing that up because they don’t want to let on how dangerous Sikhism really is. It’s a cult founded in the 15th century, a dog’s breakfast of a debased Hindu theology and Muslim-style monotheism worshipping a single bloodthirsty and savage god.

The dream of India’s Sikhs is the establishment of “Khalistan” on Indian soil, a Sikh state that would differ from the Islamic State only in the books of false prophecies whose memorization would be the whole of most children’s education. All unbelievers would be forced to choose between conversion, exile or death. They are as willing to kill for their Utopia as Muslims are for theirs—and that’s plenty.

      1. AC
Agreed. The Sikh terrorist refuses to call out the Air India attack.

He has a checkered background that has not be properly examined.

The good people of Burnaby should send the interloper packing and send him back to Ontario.

I would imagine the ndp is not fully comfortable with jagmeat.

  7. Lilley at the Toronto Sun website, writes about the CBC taking the Conservatives to court.

  8. Here is an interesting dilemma. Turkey, a country with 3.6 million Syrian refugees, is invading Syria.

Canada reacts … “Canada firmly condemns Turkey’s military incursion into Syria today,” she [foreign affairs minister Christia Freeland] tweeted Wednesday. Wow! Good opening volley Ms. Freeland. Darn good tweet!

Clearly, Syrian Kurds aren’t happy … “We’re literally just watching people die”. Which I expect is going to be very true soon enough.

The dilemma for the current Liberal Government is … how do you do nothing and still appear to be the main supporters of the immigrant community … while America is leaving Syria … while 3.6 million Syrians are held-up in Turkey … while the EU refuses to help Turkey cover the cost of these immigrants … and while the dick in the orange shirt is mysteriously absent at a protest for Syria – you know, the Syrian guy whose family owns a recently closed down restaurant…who migrated to Canada from Syria…the oppression protestor…

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/montreal-kurdish-community-demonstration-downtown-1.5319516

  9. Another tribal group out on the streets celebrating diversity. And Freeland is right in there scooping votes.

If feel for the Kurds. This is the third time they have gotten the shaft, not including the Versailles deal. But that’s geopolitics and Kurds are players who want to carve out a chunck of real estate for themselves. I can see Turkey’s side also with the PPK Kurds killing Turk civilians.

Lets hope things settle down and the refugees finally get to go home.

Meanwhile what’s taken these guys so long?
