  1. I understand what Jordan and his entire family are going through, dealing with the unfathomable capriciousness of cancer.

Regardless of how common and widespread cancers may be, it does rock your world. I think the burden of uncertainty is the hardest. It really takes its toll.

I understand the need to ease the psychological pain of confronting future loss and what that might mean. My heart goes out to the Peterson family – many of us are walking that path.

  2. I like to say … about “life” … nobody gets out alive. And nobody gets out without trials and tribulations. Nobody. I will add my deepest, most unselfish prayers for Jordan and his family.

  3. At times life is sad, however much one tries to keep that away.
Most of the time life is just severely normal.
At times life is happy without even trying.

This may sound somewhat iconic, Jordan Peterson is force for good.
There is a need for him in todays Canadian society to move things in the right direction.

    Get well Jordan Peterson

  4. Wow! – that was out of the blue.
I pray for the Peterson family to emerge from this healthy and soon.
    May the Good Lord bless.

  5. All the best to the Peterson Family. A lot of people are rooting for you. Keep up your strengths – Eat, Pray, Love.

    1. Eat, pray, love … sorry, that just made me laugh as I imagined the disproportionately scaled head of Julia Roberts speaking the words. Don’t tell me that next … you’ll be offering JP the very best CBD oil as a miracle cure all. Not to mention a marijuana vape pen.

      1. Poor guy!
Maybe that would’ve worked. I knew he was taking something cuz his eyes looked rather sunk in, tho he still sounded okay.

        1. Agreed. However I must admit I don’t quite understand the need and reliance on psychological mood altering drugs. I have been through some emotionally and mentally rough stuff in my own life, and somehow never sought refuge in pills. Perhaps I am just wired a little differently, and can take the pain … I wouldn’t know otherwise. I don’t think less of people who need such things, I just don’t (or I am too dull witted to avail myself of better living through chemistry).

The only “crutch” I needed was after my brother died of a rare cancer at age 28 (me, 26) … I couldn’t sleep at night for all the thoughts of death. So I started sleeping with the TV on to drown out the racing thoughts. Prior to that, I had always slept like a baby, at the drop of my head on the pillow. Even though it’s been years … I still put the TV on out of force of habit.

  6. Jordan Peterson (and his family) are my heroes. Like many others, I’ll be thinking of them and praying for them.

A couple of side notes: Jordan is on a team of Canadians that are above the Order of Canada. Second, I hope Loki isn’t Jordan’s prescribing physician.

  7. Reading the comments its astounding that so many posters have been helped by Jordan over the years. Stay strong and trust all will turn out well for you and your family.

  8. I like Dr. Peterson. A man of rare courage and intellect. I am sorry to hear about his wife and about his own troubles.

    Let’s hope that things improve.

  9. Dennis Prager calls Jordan the worlds most famous Canadian. He’s wrong of course, it’s Justin Bieber, but whatever. I think my favorite Jordan Peterson video is his interview of Camille Paglia. I think I’ve listened to it 10 times. So entertaining. Get well Peterson family. We’re rooting for you.
