  2. I have had 3 calls to my work cell…..Polling Canadians in the last few days

    I answer that I am a 18-24 female that absoulutly loves JT and I also endorse Lizzies green initiatives. I answer that the NDP leader is the best for the economy. Think of me when you see a poll in the news ( I told my wife about this post if I go missing in the foreseeable future)

    I’ve decided to trust Kate’s timestamps, and post my two patriotic poems. My fear wasn’t so much someone would repost it. Anyone is welcome, and just attribute it as “something i found on the internet”. My fear was some libtard would make a parody of it.
    I wrote both of these in the Vietnam era, when our values were also under severe attack. Full disclosure: the first poem makes reference to returning soldiers. Though I had never had the honor to serve my country, I was trying to imagine what a loyal soldier would feel in the face of the attacks. Today they are still surprisingly timely.
    Here they are, for what they are worth. I hope you enjoy them.

    Thoughts on the Golden Gate

    There are those who would sneer,
    And say of this our land —
    You are the strongest nation,
    With wealth beyond compare,
    But what lives must you squander,
    What price do you demand?
    Your values are corrupted,
    Your sins we cannot bear.

    Though she was never perfect,

      Who is going to win the World Series this year?

      1. The world series, will in all probability, be a contest between the Dodgers and the Yankees. I would give the edge to the Dodgers.

        1. When the Dodgers had that string of walkoff hits, they said they played until the last out.
          They have to get back to that mentality, and start takings things seriously again. I know it is hard when you clinch early, but somehow you have to get into a playoff frame of mind.
          The Dodgers have an embarrassment of riches in fielders, and must decide on a playoff lineup (or two, vs. lefties and righties.) I think they have to work Jansen seriously from here on out, and help him get rid of the gopher ball. If he keeps giving up runs, they have to seriously think of a different closer. (May?)

        A while back we started talking hockey because I detected Habs sentiment in you, and you thought I was an old “Boston” Bruin. I am not, though I was a great fan of Bobby Orr. Then we talked about other sports, including baseball.
        The only thing that bothers me about the song, and the other popular baseball song “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” is that they are actually pessimistic viz a viz the home team. Mighty Casey struck out, and root root for the home team, if they don’t win it’s a shame. I always cringe when they sing that at Dodger Stadium (substituting “Dodgers” for “home team”.) Luckily the Dodgers don’t win at Dodger Stadium not all that often.

        1. I do recall our exchanges very well OB. Used to be a big Habs fan during the 70s, when they won the Stanley Cup over several consecutive years.

  6. The election campaign has begun. We can now look forward to the terminally stupid telling equally stupid people just what they are going to do for them with their own money. After listening to some “undecided” voters expresses their desires it is the same old thing, we want something for nothing. Not one wants less government, lower taxes and more freedom from unnecessary laws and regulations. Ya get what ya want no matter who it hurts.

  8. It would appear someone misinterpreted what Groper’s slogan Move Forward actually means. Media tour bus moves forward into Great Leader’s plane and damages it. Perhaps it will distract from the story that the RCMP interviewed Big Chief Jody.

  9. If you want to see censorship at the base level try and watch Pamela Geller’s Geller report and see what happens. Every time, and I mean every time I go to the site I get an error page that literally forces me to shut the power off to my computer. Now folks, that is serious censorship.

      1. I delete daily and drop cookies daily. had to do a system restore and lost several important documents even though the restore was supposed to maintain them. Something is happening and it only happens when I post things critical of islam on the Geller report or TBP. Far too coincidental.

      This is a good issue for Scheer, on his and my point. As of 2016 tax year sale of primary residence must be reported on returns.

  16. Trudeau’s CBC is doing its best this morning to deflect from the Lavalin story. Lots of interviews with people who want free stuff in downtown Toronto, complaining that Hitler Scheer is the same as Hitler Ford. And the CBC is excited that many people are telling them that Groper should step in and reverse Doug Ford’s so called education cuts. Yes there are people interviewed who thinks its ok for the federal government to step in and take over a provincial responsibility.

Hisshonor is best known, during the AdScam scandal, for teaming up with Ottawa bureau chief Jason Moscovitz to downplay, as much as possible, the significance of damaging testimony during the Gonnery hearings. Later on, then-Prime Minister Paul Martin gave Moscovitz a plum job as public relations chief with the Business Development Bank of Canada. The bank was implicated in the AdScam scandal.

  25. National Post website reports that a two billion dollar deal has been signed for a London Ont. firm to build armoured vehicles for the military. An earlier announcement had said that the deal would not be signed until 2023, but it was signed now because of the election. Groper wants those London seats. The government will also lend the company over 600 million dollars.

  28. It seems Groper not only interferes on who gets summer grants, but chooses which film company gets grants as well. The Globe and Mail website reports that a government grant has been cancelled for a Canadian documentary on the China/Canada spat. One of the reasons given is because Steve Bannon is helping to distribute it in the States.

    1. They actually gave that as a reason for cancelling? So what is wrong exactly with Bannon distributing a film? And, if they actually had a good reason — like Bannon beats up old ladies or something– why not just tell them to get another distributor. They should be grateful that anyone is willing to distribute Canadian film in the States. What weasles for cancelling this.

    Total Sales 9976 kg (medical + recreational)
    Production of Finished Product 18,973 kg. (net change in inventory + sales)
    Total Production 50,310 kg. “”

    Total inventory 312,251 kg = about 31 months worth of total sales.

    Does this look like a glut to anyone else? Or am I missing something? Also, they provide data back to October and the shape of the total inventory curve would scare me if I had investments in production facilities.

    1. It was all predictable and not only at the production level. You can’t give weed away in Colorado or Oregon. Many small towns have 4 weed stores plus all the old dealers are still in business with a cheaper product. I used to smoke everyone else’s weed 50 years ago but have never bought any and don’t plan starting now.
