Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

People who own electric bikes do the same with their employers’ business.
They bike to work with their electric bike and then plug it in at their employers’ business, making their employer pay for their bike’s recharge.
That’s stealing.
But people who use electric bikes are so righteous, no?
Well, quoting Paul Joseph Watson, “It’s OK when we do it!”
I would have four valve stems from that Tesla in my pocket.
I’d have the Tesla© charger connector cord instead. They wouldn’t be going anywhere until they got another one, or paid me $100.00
Checking online, replacement would cost them anywhere from $370-$691. Seems fair to me.
In the world of progressives, any means justifies their ends for entitlement. The government subsidised their car, so I guess they don’t feel they should have to pay for the electricity, either.
If I were the homeowner, I would push for theft and trespassing charges. I mean, let’s see how the local cops would handle me if I roll up on some strangers lawn and then left my ride there for 12 hrs while I syphoned his gas.
“The government subsidised their [electric vehicle] …”
Specifically, the BC Government uses its power to take money in the form of a “carbon” tax from the less wealthy and give it as an “incentive” to the more wealthy – like Andrew Weaver (leader of the BC Green Party) – to buy a very expensive electric vehicle.
Quite the Dickheads – Come try that at my place…PUHLEEZE
I’m thinking there’s a business case for Caged-Locked Receptacles…??
Cut the cord and call tow company.
So is any organization that raises a thin dime in China in the form of loans, bond issues or stock sales. That’s why the Chinese re-invest the proceeds of outsourcing back in the west—to ensure that their debtors do their bidding.
The Chinese are the Jews Hitler warned you about—a race of parasites convinced they have a mandate from the gods to enslave the world, and willing to do all in their power to make it happen.
“That’s why the Chinese re-invest the proceeds of outsourcing back in the west” – BINGO – The Japanese used to do exactly the same thing – keep their massive trade surpluses out of their own country to devalue their labour and use the profits to buy out Western industry. China is at war with the world and we are too effing stupid to figure it out.
Why wouldn’t they think they’re special and entitled? Everywhere you go in public spaces their electric vehicles get reserved prime parking spots closest to the entrances of buildings. Shopping malls, train stations, municipal parking lots all provide free charging stations–again close to the entrances of buildings. They get special licence plates identifying them as the virtuous elite.
You shouldn’t be surprised if people start acting like they’re special after you treat them like they’re special.
Big deal … the electricity used to charge your Tesla is FREE!!! That’s what I’ve been told.
But the shocking (pun intended) content of this story is that plugging your awesome new $50k Model 3 into a 120v outlet for 8 hours gives you about 25miles of range. Yikes!! Best to park these Musk contraptions in the garage, plugged into the 220v outlet and only drive them to your local “Save the Dolphins” fundraiser … and DO NOT leave your parking lights on to signal your virtue!!!
“a 120v outlet for 8 hours gives you about 25miles”
That’s what I noticed Kenji and the cost wasn’t that much.
It would be worth it to just stand there and laugh at the fool when he comes to pick up his car.
If it was a -30 day and someone needed to borrow my outlet to plug their block heater in and get their car started I’d allow it. If it was a Tesla owner I’d tell them to sod off. If they plugged it in without asking. I’d cut the cord.
