Jonathan Kay blows liberal or conservative, depending which media outlet employs him. Last I checked, he became Quillette, a fairly interesting, moderate-conservative outlet. Apparently they are big enough to pay Mr. Kay a salary, which is something. I wonder how Quillette is funded.
Before that, Mr. Kay was at Walrus, a left-wing, federal-subsidized mag, where Kay spent his time attacking Ezra Levant’s Rebel Media. But he made the mistake of joking about some outrageous Canafian-Indian protest, and sympathetic left-wing goose-steppers at Walrus went on strike to force Kay out. Given that bit of strong-arming, Mr. Kay seems embittered towards the PC left these days.
The US media is just jealous because Trump doesn’t showcase his socks like certain other high visibility leaders.
Fashion is so much easier to write about than issues, after all.
