It’s worth noting that Oberlin College is the Clown Quarter writ large, a leftist fiefdom, where woke psychodramas are normative, encouraged and institutional. And hence the delinquency and moral inversion – the ripened fruit of all that leftist psychology. Such that students were encouraged by staff to side with a trio of physically aggressive shoplifters – people stealing for fun – and to actively destroy the livelihood of a baker who would rather not be preyed upon by thieves. The expectation of lawfulness, of common civility, being repaid with libel, harassment and ruin. Activities that Oberlin’s administrators were happy to enable, using college funds, and often with bizarrely adolescent behaviour of their own.
What kind of parent would send or allow a child to attend Oberlin College. It is one big gay clusterflip specializing in Grievance Studies. More crazy people than most nut houses.

Just imagine the cost of a “liberal arts” education after the Federal Govt. makes “rich taxpayers” pay for it? Professor salaries will double from $350k/yr to $700k/yr + benefits and 95% spiked pensions. And the useless courses will get even wackier!

Apparently the administration of Oberlin went to war against a bakery that had 3 students arrested for shoplifting, accusing the bakery of racism for prosecuting the shoplifters.
The admin was found guilty, and now has a $44 million judgement against it. No administrators involved have been fired.
Radical leftists have been placed in positions of authority in many colleges, and they have made them leftist cesspools. Hopefully this is the first of many lawsuits against this type of “administrator”.
And those leftist colleges are being funded by TAXPAYERS loans to students who will have no reasonable means to repay the loans. We’ve gone from American junk mortgages collapsing the worldwide economy to American JUNK degrees collapsing the worldwide economy. Who has gotten $$ RICH as a result of this leftist idiocy? Wall Street traders and College Administrators, Professors, and Staff. Filthy $$RICH from the economic system they revile. With that wealth comes impunity. The uniformly leftist colleges could not care less about providing a balanced, smart, education for their students. They don’t even pretend they’re not brainwashing factories. They’re proud of their brainwashing.
If the aclu is who they claim to be, they would file a suit to expedite the payment of damages to the bakery. However, as my sweet granny used to say, there will always be more horses asses than horses. Oberlin students, faculty and alumni take first prize for arrogance. If I were still a corporate recruiter and received a resume from an oberlin graduate, it would be in the express lane to the shredder. QED.

Unless and until these hypocrites are held accountable personally for their bigotry and illegal activity, nothing will change.
IOW, they need to not only be fired, but be forced to pay the taxpayers for wasting their time and money on their SJW BS.
Make them stakeholders rather than provocateurs insulated financially and professionally.
What happens instead, they get promoted, as one Oberlon principal was, and become heroes to the cause.
Make them into zeros instead of heroes or they will continue to harass citizens while sending them the bill.
The punitive damages is not enough. There needs to be a “super punitive” for cases like this perhaps compounding 10% per day. These people cannot be that stupid. This is beyond the pale. There must be a puppet master ordering them to double and triple down and never give up. Any ideas who?

Back in the day, our offsprings knew two things: 1) they were to finish Grade 12 and go on to higher training of some sort; and, 2) they would have to help pay for same. They did finish Grade 12 and went on to uni, where there was a question of what program to pursue. All thought that heading into acting was where they wanted to go. Our response to each was to the effect of “fine, but how will you feed yourself?”. In the end, all offsprings chose courses leading to decent careers, though one did manage to major in accounting and minor in drama (don’t ask). They are all doing well in their careers, productive citizens and contributing to the community in various ways. And they did it – almost without exception – without student loans. It helped that we are within commuting distance of a uni. The one who took out student loans had to leave home to get the desired degree but paid it off as quickly as possible after graduation.
Know other parents who didn’t live withing commuting distance of a uni. They subsidized their offsprings through post-secondary education, the offsprings were expected to make a major contribution to said education. It worked; the offsprings got good degrees and have been contributing to Canada ever since.
But…but…it’s PRIVATE college, and so not like those beastly public schools.
