Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Well Kenney better let his nuts drop and kick Harper the coyote out of his camp, and start drafting Alberta’s UDI. Only way for Alberta now. Canada is a PENAL COLONY.
I’m hoping beyond hope Kenney has a sense of history. He can be just another premier of just another province fighting an unwinnable uphill battle in just another failed state, or, he can lead a new country into existence.
Canada is kneecapping itself … WTF!? Your leftist leadership is like Tonia Harding and Jeff Gillooli … mental midgets with a collapsible baton of political power
Good luck keeping warm with solar panels …
Yes, viva la separation!!!!!!
Trudeau and Notley for jail!
UWA – United Western Alliance plus ON , NB and territories form a trade alliance telling whats left of the Liberal Domminion to piss off…
Have people seen the web site “The Myth is Canada”. Is there any truth that Canada is not a confederated sovereign nation in law? Are the provinces free to just leave?
Yes it is true. Each Province is Sovereign. Confederation means a joining together of Sovereign States or Provinces for mutual benefit.
The BNA Act was never intended as a Constitution, it was simply instructions to the British Governor of the United Colonies of Canada on how to administer the Colonies.
Each Province has a Prime Minister, a Head of State, Lt. Governor, a Parliament a Supreme Court and a Senate if they wish as well each Province is free to create their own Provincial Constitutions if they so desire under sect 45 of the BNA ACt. Trudeau found when he went to repatriate the Canadian Constitution that he could not. Because the BNA Act itself, the original document, is a Statute of the British Parliament.
That would be the same as if Justin Trudeau decided that he wanted to repatriate the Declaration of Independence of the USA. It just is not done.
And the British experts told him it was not a constitution but a simple Statute of the British Parliament and Canada could not have the original document.
So he copied the Statute of a Foreign Power and added HIS Charter of Bullshit on top like a cherry and the stunned from the ass both ways Canadians accepted that, all happy like little children.
No Canadian man or woman consented to this in anyway. It should have been voted on and ratified by Canadians. I mean even 3rd world countries do it that way. A very shaky and shady arrangement. When I call Canada a PENAL COLONY I am not joking.
I have read all Walter Kuhl’s work his family still has all his research, I contacted them many years ago, never saw this website before.
When England lost the 13 colonies it scared the shit out of them.
They then began an operation to use Canada as the anti American bulwark to contain the USA from swallowing up all the territory in what is now Canada.
Sir J.A. MacDonald may have been the United Colonies of Canada’s first PM but he was also an agent for the English Crown to restrict the expansion of the USA.
If the English lost the resources of Canada they would be ruined. He was a traitor to Canadians.
The whole United Colonies of Canada is a sham since 1931 and the Statute of Westminster. You have to go back and read the notes of the Imperial Conferences leading up to the Imperial Conference creating the Statute of Westminster which released the Colony’s of South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the Irish.
After 1931 the British Crown never appointed another Gov. Gen. and the Letters Patent from the British Crown authorizing a new Gov. Gen. were forged by Ottawa beginning in 1947.
Don’t believe me search out an old Letters Patent from the Crown prior to 1931 then look up the 1947 Letter Patent signed by the Prime Minister, The Prime Minister usurped the power of the King from 1931 on. It’s all a sham. I have it downloaded on thumb drives somewhere.
Canada is a PENAL COLONY and we are INMATES. We traded colonial status with England for Colonial Status of Ottawa. That is what really happened. Hence the need for the UDI.
I must say that the level of intellectual halitosis you exhibit in this blog every day is wondrous to behold.
I sometimes wonder why the rest of us even need to vent our spleens here at all since you routinely serve up such an ample helping of addlepated rants.
Do you have a fat sister? At least I am not a anal retentive constipated nimcompoop like yourself.
Try reading some actual Canadian History exercise your pea brain once in awhile. Oh yah you were weaned on Liberal Public school education. Yah can’t think for yourself and can not connect the dots. And you are angry because you are a welfare leech from eastern Canada, Welfare Country. Users and leeches always hate it when they get caught.
Me: “I sometimes wonder why the rest of us even need to vent our spleens here at all since you routinely serve up such an ample helping of addlepated rants.”

Me: “Quod erat demonstrandum.”
Well, I don’t know Watcher.
If you are any indication; big, dumb, unthinking, almost extinct animals and a hockey team with a consistent losing tradition seems apropos for the deadbeat denizens of your new “country”.
Couple of welfare leeches from eastern canuckistan jjm and canadiandisgrace. The boys are upset about all this Alberta Independence, why? because they are losers and have been benefitting directly or indirectly by the thefts against Albertans. Now go pack each others lunches. Have a nice day.
Prinz Dummkopf, no doubt, will see that as rebellion and will act accordingly. Like Daddy, like son.
That political invertebrate, Dairy Queen Sheer, is MIA, as usual.
Some people have forgotten how much of a kicking AB took from the NEP in 1980 so here’s some stats from the Calgary Sun in 1984.
-It is estimated the NEP cost AB $100 billion and as many as 200,000 jobs in all industries.
-AB’s average unemployment rate of 3.9% from 1970 to 1981 nearly doubled to 7.7% in 1982 and climbed to 11% in 1983.
-Housing starts in Calgary alone went from
15000 in 1980
to 10000 in 1981
to 5000 in 1982
to less than 2000 in 1983
1981 Drilling stats compared to 1980 figures
-wells completions down 24%
-Rigs available down 19%
-Active rigs down 33%
-Land sales down 46%
-Crude and synthetic oil production down 10%
Major projects shelved due to NEP
-$12 bil Cold Lake heavy oil project
-$13 billion Alsands project
-Heavy oil up-grader in Sask
-Alaska highway pipeline
After one year of the NEP, the Cdn Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors said the value of equipment that left the western provinces to work in the US exceeded $1 billion worth. Over that time 189 drilling rigs and 161 service rigs had shut down due to a lack of work. Also 178 drilling rigs and 79 services left Canada. Job losses in drilling exceeded 8000 jobs.
By 1982, The Can Petroleum Association blamed the NEP for 15000 job losses and a 27% decline in drilling activity.
According to the federal govt Petroleum Monitoring Agency, the oil industry after tax profits dropped 34% from 1980 to $3 billion in 1981.
A Cdn Petroleum Assoc survey in 1982 showed oil industry tax payments increased by 88.6% in 1981 mainly due to new taxes under the NEP.
In 1982 AB govt land exploration rights netted just $5.8 million down from $19.4 million in 1981.
My rant
Liberals with bad memories say that it was the fall in world oil prices and market that caused some minor damage to the western economy, but the fact is that oil prices peaked at over $40/bbl in 1980/81 and was at $34/bbl to 1985 when it finally fell to $10 plus/bbl. This severe damage was done from 1980 to 1984.
The historical fact is that the NEP was the most deliberately malicious govt program ever inflicted on an identifiable group of Canadians by the so called ‘Father’ of the Charter of Rights, Pierre Trudeau.
Westerners lost their jobs, businesses, homes, families, and even their lives because of that POS prime minister.
Westerners really do deserve and need a new country.
Tell me about it – I lived that shit. Laid off Xmas Eve Dec 1980…200 hrs shy of my J’man Status as a Welder. After which one could not find a welding job ANYWHERE in this province. By Jan 1981, not one FAB shop was open nor hiring…Province Wide.
Calgary became a ghost town – easily 30-50 large develpments were simply abandoned and left to rot in the sun…for years.
I drove a Cab – Grew some (excellent), pot during that time as there simply was NO OTHER means for survival. & I dont give a shit what anyone has to say/thinks about that. Pierres NEP cost me my livlihood and a recently bought home.
So to now have the Drip From Pierres Dick literally Fucking us over AGAIN..?? Coupled with that Communist Kunt Notely & that Arrogant Islamic Phuque Nenshi and his years of constant tax increases of 4-5%…& this year 30%..??
I for one have had MORE than enough.
Each one of those filthy bits of human garbage deserves one thing. A 0.50 Cal armor piercing incindiary to the frontal lobe.
Separation..?? Goddamned right and NOW.!!
(apologes for the language Kate – but my blood is beyond boiling at these TOTALLY WILLFUL & Deliberate actions to DESTROY Alberta & Saskatchewan)
A .50 Cal armour piercing shell is way too much and wasteful. You usually shoot skunks with a .22.
But with a 50 cal, you can do it from 2500 yds away…..ergo th advantage….and there is no mistake if one is hit….they areobliterated – Percisely what is required.
God, you can’t even grow pot nowadays to make ends meet. The Liberals even managed to f*** THAT up!
Well said. There are many here with similar sentiments.
rockyt
It was genocide – of an economy.
Good one AT!
“Environmentalism is the heir to eugenics. … The people at the American population council, moved into environmentalism; ‘If we can’t control whose born, we can control the consumption of the people who are here.’. ” — Fred Siegel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPx7I4ALeWk
Going after environmentalism is absolutely essential to breaking liberalism.
To compare eco-crankery to eugenics is an insult to eugenics.
Neutering and spaying people unable to function in industrial civilization outside a prison and unable to control their sexual urges would have been an excellent idea if done systematically. Our masters were mostly interested in murdering anybody who posed a meaningful threat to their power.
I think momentum is moving in the direction of separation from Canada in AB/SK. I can’t see any good reasons to stay and the rest of Canada can’t seem to come up with any good reasons either (other than the so far unstated one — they need Alberta’s money). But, there’s lots of reasons for Alberta and Saskatchewan to leave. There’s no way in hell Quebec would have tolerated even a fraction of the abuse, provocations and exploitation from Ottawa and the rest of Canada that Alberta (and SK to a lesser extent) has been expected to accept without complaint. Canada will have squandered a deal all other countries would have treasured: free money from one province with no obligations or strings attached except for not killing their golden goose energy industry.
In a decade or so, a kid will be in a Canadian social studies class and ask the teacher “ALSask is such a rich country, why did Canada treat their western prairie provinces so badly that they had to separate?” I have no doubt PrairieWest will be the most prosperous and richest country in North America (per capita) within a decade after separation. Canada will meet its Paris climate/CO2 committment right after PrairieWest separation so win-win.
yep…and if we allow Mb, NWT & the Yukon to join us…? a Fabulously RESOURCE RICH Nation….with plenty of tidewater Access.
I would wholly support a Nation Building exercise to build 3-4 42″ pipleines from Hardisty or Ft Mac to join up with the Trans Alskan Pipeline system going directly to VALDEZ. Instant Asian Access and said Asians would love to see it happen.
Build it and they will come…in Droves.
Yes and Alberta oil will ship on US tankers right down the coast of BC. Just like they do now. US tankers travel the along BC coast right now. And Canada can do sweet F all about that, millions of barrels a year travel down the coast each year in US tankers from Alaska. But Canada and Ottawa says no to Alberta oil. Time to slip on the knuckle busters and start kicking ass. Shut down all ALberta oil to BC and eastern Canada. shutdown BC gas lines that cross Alberta, shut down the trans Canada hwy and rail traffic east and west. But nothing made in eastern Canada or BC. Our only friend is Sask. Fuck the rest. And sure as hell do not call the new nation of Alberta, Buffalo.
I’d be careful about accepting any province or territory unless they achieve a certain threshold of GDP per capita and GDP to debt level. A big gap in economic inequality leads to resentment and then to forced redistribution.
Agree with you LCB. I would be real careful inviting too many to the ‘party’, if you will. Sask has a whole bunch of Crown Corps, that are way too dependent on government.
Should Alberta separate, we would be in the driver’s seat allowing only those that are of similar ideology to join us.
Northern BC is of like mind but areas close to the lower mainland? No bloody way!
Crown corps monopolies certainly do have issues and opening them can have benefits. The problem for sask is that it is unlikely to draw in enough competition to avoid private companies colluding with each other and politicians to drive up prices . So you end up in a situation like Canada’s banking, telecommunication and airline industries – high prices, limited choices, crappy customer service. Not much better than crown corps.
In fact, a newly separated country of AB/SK should offer to open US access to banking, telecommunications and airlines in exchange for access to US coastal ports. This gets our resources to world markets, bypassing reliance on Canadian port, and should reduce prices for consumers by breaking up the comfy, politically-protected collusion between Canadian companies in those industries.
It’ll be easier to negotiate free trade deals without worrying about the auto industry, marketing boards, cultural industry, etc.
If you could carve out the Lower Mainland and Victoria, the rest of BC would likely come along too.
You’d think the lower mainland and Victoria would have lots in common with the US Pacific northwest cities like Seattle and Portland. Perhaps they could join Washington state and let the rest of BC decide if they want to remain in Canada.
How about we let the Coming BIG one Deal with the Lower MAO Land and gilligans Island..?? Would suit me just fine. That part of the Leftist Marxist world can KISS my (_i_).
You elected Nenshi and Notley. Even if you separate you have plenty of home grown idiots to deal with.
Bingo. The moral panic of the day in Saskatchewan, is how we have the most drunk drivers in the world or something. Yet John Gormley never also points out Saskatchewan has the most crown corporations too. Does no one think that the most socialism and the most drunk driving is not simply a coincidence? Of course they never make the connection. Because if they did, they would have to entertain the thought that they have shit for brains, and their entire world view has always been wrong.
People who voted for Bob Rae, Notely, Nenshi, Wynne, either or both Trudeaus, Joe Clark, Kim Campbell, will, eventually, do so again. Believing in failure is a genetic deficiency, not learned behaviour.
I was having a discussion about sask crown corps a few weeks ago. As stated above, the problem is that the Saskatchewan market is too small to draw in a sufficient number of private companies to get competition. It ends up like Canadian banks, telecommunications and airlines with high prices, limited choice and crappy customer service.
Something interesting did come up in the discussion : the presence of sasktel has resulted in sask having cheaper mobile phone plans than the rest of Canada. I pay $48 per month for 8GB of data, for instance. Why? Because sasktel doesn’t have a monopoly *and* Canada’s big private telecommunication companies can’t collude to drive up prices because of sasktel.
Perhaps a small market like Saskatchewan needs to have a public and private mix to keep everyone honest.
I dunno. When home security became an issue in the last 20 years what was the Saskatchewan solution?
Sask Tel. They built themselves a phone based home security division.
Now you would think some tech business like that would be something the private sector would excel at but not in SK. It has to be a government crown corporation.
The ‘crowns’ in SK continue to expand pinning away for the day when tommi duglast rises from the crypt.
It’s Canada folks. That’s how we roll.
Remember the crown corporation Sask Power has wasted well over a billion dollars on Carbon Capture and Sequestration at the Boundary Dam generating station. Now if Sask Power had some competition this project may not have happened. We in Saskatchewan share with Alberta the highest power costs of the four western provinces. A problem with crowns is that profits become government revenue and we all know how easily governments waste money.
I’m not pro-crown corps but neither am I anti- crown corps in Saskatchewan. The evidence and arguments can go both ways. For instance, Alberta’s deregulated private electricity market isn’t much cheaper than saskpower.
I didn’t support BDPS carbon capture. I thought that money would be better spent building combined cycle natgas power plants to replace the aging coal plants. Interesting to note who the carbon capture private contractor was…..drumroll…SNC-Lavlin. Estevan has always had shady business contracts and tendering but, even by Estevan standards, rumors abounded about weird tendering requests to inflate costs.
Touché!
Frankly, Albertans appear no more or less politically astute than any other Canadians.
JJM – you are correct. Albertans are no different than any other Canadian when it comes to politics.
We missed tommi duglast by a hairs breath. We got progressive conservatism instead
Letters from the hinterlands.
Will of course be ignored.
Quebec was always bluffing,so The West must be.
Projection being all Liberals are capable of.
Eastern Canada voted for these Liberals, they have supported them as they rape the West.
Rewarded decades of their lying, stealing and destroying.
A trillion dollars down a rathole since Ralph, taken from 4 million people.
For sure Western Canada will stand strong for Canada.
Whatever Canada means today.
A fully functional eastern based Kleptocracy?
Where the citizens are so revolting, our leaders want to replace us with illiterate imports?
Where truth is no defence against criminal charges by bureaucrats?.
Where Private Laws rule?
There is a natural dividing line running down through North Bay Ontario.
They can keep Toronto & Ottawa, losing those residents alone will reduce the theft remarkably.
Certain people currently resident in western cities can be encouraged to flee east,by instituting a law on D0-Gooders.
Do like Ralphie did hand them a bus ticket and a boot in the ass.
There is no such thing as “Western Canada”.
Just four provinces no more unified in their political views than the rest of the country.
You on the pipe again today you addlebrained public school educated nitwit. Just cuz its legal does not mean its good for you, oh yah your an eastern welfare leech on Alberta’s ass.
In my humble opinion the best and cleanest break is UDI. It instantly ends all Indian Treaties, UN Treaty’s and Federal rights and jurisdiction, The RCMP will be goose stepped to the border, all Alberta’s beautiful parkland will revert automatically to ALberta’s control. Federal courts have no jurisdiction, other provinces have no jurisdiction. We wheel and deal and create what the men and women of Alberta want for a country.
Lance, so do I, and the sooner, the better.
As far as Trudeau and the rest of the Laurentian Elite cabal are concerned, the west exists to be ‘used’ by the center. This has been the case since these provinces became provinces over a hundred years ago. Trudeau senior made that quite clear and his useless teat of a possible son has also made it quite clear.
If anyone watched the GTA Raptors game, they lost by one point. There were several commercials by Engage Canada. Even lefty CTV wants to know “Who’s behind the anti-Andrew Scheer ad airing during Raptors game?”.
CTV even asks a smart question: “Where did the group get the cash to pay for a Toronto Raptors playoff commercial that could cost upwards of $50,000?”. And they provided an interesting answer: “The group is hesitant to say”.
“The group describes itself as a “grassroots organization.” Corporate records and archived union documents show that it is comprised of veteran political strategists and individuals with strong ties to some of Canada’s largest union groups.”
“Engage Canada orchestrated a targeted ad campaign against Stephen Harper in the lead up to the 2015 federal election…Engage Canada spent all of its advertising dollars before the election was called, meaning the group never had to register as a third party advertiser and disclose any financial details.” “…it’s next to impossible to know where, exactly, the money to fund the group’s TV, radio and social media ads is coming from.

Future tense?
Looks like it’s pretty tense right here in the present.
That aside, there’s always this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxTpIMK5NSo
So Newfoundland Labrador didn’t sign because they don’t make billions in royalties from oil and gas marine traffic and thousands of oil & gas industry related high paying jobs? Hypocrites!
In spite of all the negatives listed here, I bet there will be much surprise at the percentage of the vote that the foolish liberals get come election time.
Correct.
I recommend that in the new Republic of Gabriel Dumont, the power of cities is broken. It has to be more than simple numbers. No skin, no vote. Or to state the principle another way; NO REPRESENTATION WITHOUT TAXATION.
Why is it that 3 million people in Toronto sitting on welfare roles, get to elect 9 members to Parliament? What exactly will people with no skin in the game vote for?
On the other hand, it also cannot simply be about money. There also has to be only one way you can affect the system.
Vote is a lever to affect the system.
Political donation/lobbying is a lever.
Advertisement/advocacy/polemics/comedy show/journalism is a lever.
You get a vote, or you can give cash; you cannot do both. You can pay people to vote the way you want, but given the secret ballot, I would take the money of everyone offering it, tell them whatever lies I thought they wanted to hear, and just vote the way I was going to vote anyway.
$1 one vote. $9e12 one vote. $0 zero vote. $12e36 lobby dollars, zero vote. $50 million union ad dollars, zero votes for entire membership of union. Your paper endorses a candidate; zero vote for your entire staff.
I say, if you want to vote, you can’t buy billboard ads, you can’t make movies about how Harper is Hitler, you can’t write opinion columns endorsing one candidate or another, or in support of a political party. You cannot critique or Fisk the policy of one candidate or party alone on national TV. You cannot buy a politician lunch or a private island vacation, or donate to a candidate’s run for office.
Two years Federal Service. Service guarantees citizenship.
Yeah the new country starts with invoking the spirit of gabriel dumont……that outa work out.
Valdez: Shipping 550,000 bbls of Alsakan Crude EVERY day right down BC’s “pristine” Left Coast and into Juan de Fuca Straight.
And at NO TIme have I heard SQUAT from the so called environmental lobby ’bout that….blasted at them SOB’s constantly and not one ever replied….Paid MoFo’s to go after ALBERTA and ALBERTA ONLY.
“Paid MoFo’s to go after ALBERTA and ALBERTA ONLY.” That is the plan. Paid for tools of the Liberals and squishy conservatives.
And the aquifers in Nebraska have been criss-crossed by pipelines for decades. While we have extremely low unemployment in this region, the jobs associated with the Keystone could only be a very good thing. The hideous google facility down the road brought in so many jobs, the county had to build campgrounds for all the subs that migrated over. Pick up trucks from all over the country converged. Really remarkable. The project hoovered electricians from across the region. We couldn’t find an electrician to wire an addition. There are tens of thousands of men who need those jobs. Citizens.
I have an issue with how Rupertsland was bought and sold. The free citizens of Rupertsland were bought by Canada to be exploited, not as equals and it’s been that way for 150 years. Free Rupertsland! How do we get back Ungava and Keewatin, better know as Northern Quebec and Northern Ontario?
Coastal BC offers lessons on how to lose a country.
The old timers were independent, private people.
Then came Welfare.
Supported by welfare funds, the helpless, clueless and propertyless, swarmed in,occupying empty homes and public lands.
Finally even the BC government had to withdraw welfare payments from areas with no chance of work.
But it was too late.
The Gimmee Gimmee vote has control of Vancouver,Victoria and half the Island.
The forest industry was destroyed, through ignorance, stupidity and greed.
Then the coastal fisheries.
The further away control is centred, the greater the local damage.
Coastal BC is a lesson of how central government destroys.
Fisheries Canada being a brutal example.
When they finished destroying the Eastern Fishery, they transferred their “experts” to the West Coast.
Cause Senority.
Like the Democrats, our neo-Marxists plan to rule from the cities. Natural resources are for the dirty little people.
I truly believe if Toronto and/or Vancouver had to rely on wind and solar for two weeks, the CAGW debate here would end.
I know, not going happen, like Grits and Responsible Government. What works for them puts us to work for them.
The new paradigm: government by the gated ones and good party types, of none of the great unwashed, against all of us.
Grit political trough feeders in our Senate are and “independent group?”
Independent of what? Common sense? Loyalty to the nation? Independent thought? What a joke.
Venezuela, through socialist corruption and pure stupidity, ended up leaving their oil in the ground for grinding poverty.
We do it on purpose? I would love to hear Mr. Trudeau’s plan to replace fossil fuels, if he has time after his straw man banning.
Why does it have to be SKExit? Why not just sexit?
It wasn’t UKExit, or GBRExit.
Let’s rename Canada to Hotel California; we can checkout anytime we want, but we can never leave.
