Canadians should be outraged with Deferred Prosecution Agreements. This type of legislation flies in the face of what it is that Canada has stood for.
Call it Judeo Christian ethic of you wish but this kind of law is the stuff that starts you down the slippery slope. We don’t want to willingly have laws on the books that allow the guilty to walk. At least I dont.
I dont care if other countries think this is ok. It’s poor legislation and the libranos should be shamed over it.

I remember the Diefenbuck @ .92.5 cents and Bank of Canada Governor James Coyne undermining Diefenbaker. In 1962 Diefenbaker’s huge majority was reduced to minority government and in 1963 a Liberal government was elected.
