  1. Our glorious prime minister Kim Jung Trudeau is burning jet fuel again today. He is spewing carbon into the air as he heads to PEI to throw money around with his new veterans affairs minister. He then continues his taxpayer funded election tour, as he flies to Toronto for a global warming rally. He better wear warm clothing as Toronto is in an extreme cold weather alert. Hopefully they have all the global warming snow cleared away by then.

      Even as foreign investment plummets, an extra 100,000 mostly poor immigrants join an economy already juddering to a stop, we become a laughing stock on the world stage and tens of billions in debt get added with no trace of where it was spent, despite all this, almost half the country would pull the lever for him again. Another 20% of us would vote socialist or green.

      So where does the real stupidity reside?

I have always said that if “climate change” is a real problem that the world of entertainment (movies, rock concerts, television) would shut down, and that celebrities and politicians would no longer fly (or perhaps only once a year like the rest of us).         Further paradox: -If I import a car, I’ll have to pay a one time CO2 tax. About 500$ for a very small 1.1 liter gasoline cheap drive. And exponentially increasing for bigger displacement engines.

        However eventual subscription and other attendance / lodging fees to a climate saving conference, COPxx included, would not qualify as tax deductible for private citizens.

        Even more funny. Based on safety concerns, German post would refuse to ship Lithium batteries. Including the same brand and type as those powering their 3-cycles and other “zero emission” delivery vehicles.

            However, I don’t trust him. I watched him bungle his way as a cabinet minister and was not impressed. I also remember a long line of Quebecers who said one thing to get elected and then didn’t carry through:

            a) Turdeau 1 said he wouldn’t introduce wage and price controls. Remember “Zap, you’re frozen?”

            b). Jean Cretin promised to eliminate the GST if elected.

            c) Turdeau 2 promised open and transparent government, yet still restricts what JWR can talk about.

            d) Turdeau 2 promised no more hiding legislation in larger bills. Why was the DPA legislation buried in a budget bill?

          2. I posted this late last night but it bears repeating.
            I think Bernier has a lot of great Conservative ideas and ideals. I really wish he had won the nomination.
            Max was REALLY quiet on JWR and SNC Lavlin and mostly spoke about immigration while JT and the PMO began their slide from grace.
            I am starting to believe someone in the Laurentians has encouraged him to go separate ways with the CPC and begin the PPC thereby splitting the vote allowing a Liberal majority. This keeps the Laurentian elite in a more secure power position.
            Andy 2% is a dud. I will hold my nose and vote CPC this election but will be ever wary of him.
            Max has to wander in the wilderness for at least 1 election cycle eventually attracting the best Conservatives to his platform. Otherwise you risk getting the equivalent of a Notley or Turdeau and his band of Global Village Idiots running the country.

Scheer is our only choice this time around, the Conservatives have some very capable MP’s, more than can be said for the present slate in the Liberal stable. Take a good look at their bench, it’s sad from top to bottom. The old hangers on are well past their best before time.

  5. CTV reports that Big Chief Justin has broken his promise about military spending. He will be spending billions less than promised this year on military equipment. But don’t worry, the cutbacks will not effect gender equity and diversity efforts in the military.

      Re the disappearing glacier on Baffin Island. On Ellesmere Island fossil trees have been found dating back 2 to 10 million years ago.

  10. Having worked in Ottawa as an Anglo for over 12 years in National Defence I can tell you that Franco to Anglo racism and discrimination are alive and well in the NCR. All of the important jobs, promotions, postings within NDHQ are held by or given to French Canadians over Anglos. Whenever we (Anglos) complained about it we were branded racist or bigots. A career killer to have that on your file.

    Cross any of the bridges into Quebec and you will never see an English sign. French construction workers are allowed to work in Ontario but Ontarians are forbidden to work or bid on construction projects in Quebec. Heck, a Quebec company won the contract to expand the Champlain Bridge from 2 to 3 lanes. After 10 years the job was still ongoing.

    The Family Compact is alive and well in central Canada, especially Quebec. And that is not being a racist. That is reality in our nation’s capital. And you have no idea of the billions and billions of Canadian dollars wasted here.

They’re young enough to be my grandchildren and, quite often, they behave as if they own the place. Everyone else, it seems, must accommodate them. For example, how dare I use a weight station when they want to use it?

      So it is with Prinz Dummkopf. Other people, aside from Soapy and their rug runners, don’t seem to matter to him.

        When I was growing up we had to show respect for our elders because if we didn’t, we’d hear about it later. However I didn’t have any problems in that regard because I liked anyone older, they seemed so full of wonderful stories and they’d oblige me.

        It was a very adult oriented childhood, at age 6, I could do everything but read and write! Ha!
