  3. I honestly do not know why, but I received a piece of junk mail from “Doctors Without Borders” soliciting my financial support.

    Just in case you don’t think an organization should be judged by what it calls itself, it lists four especially notable deeds among the oh so many, to justify why it wants my money. The fourth of these I quote verbatim:

    “In Mexico, our teams are providing medical and mental health care in mobile clinics to patients fleeing violence in Central America.”

    Just declare war on the Central American countries for their irregular armies proudly displaying their national flags while trying to invade us, and we can arrest American citizens who work for that project for treason, viz. aiding and abetting the enemy.

  6. It makes god theater in th HOC but we all know voting to have Trudeau appear before committee is an exercise in futility.
    They all know he would make an ass of himself with his bumbling. It we cannot get straight answers from those we elect to power they are hiding something, we do not have the open, transparent government we have heard Trudeau speak of.

    We need to be very suspicious with what’s going on, they are making a few slick maneuvers to try to shut down all avenues to lay charges or get to the truth, this spells corruption.

    2. She will be allowed to speak but will be limited….we may not hear her truth unless she goes rogue which is what I would do to ensure not being in on a coverup. The whole thing is a gong show which the Trudeau Cabal are adept at and proof they are not fit to govern. It’s hard to believe intelligent, honest people could even sit with them without speaking up. It’s politics at all costs, scruples be damned. That’s how corruption grows.

    5. Well, it certainly is entertaining, and as far as figuring out the truth, if one likes a good Columbo mystery its right up there.
      But rather than dwell on what she will say and is the Sockmonkey’s goose cooked, its good to remember why this $hit show started.
      The lpc is driven by optics and polls and have one plank in their platform and one only. That plank is the myth of Trudeau.
      That myth is showing to be built on clay foundations and the buyers remorse is starting to show.
      So how does a government that needs to shore up its support do so before the writ is dropped?
      Spending announcements, and big ones in those ridings they need to keep as their base. But what happens if the spending announcement is jeopardized because the preferred contractor is barred from government contracts?
      But I digress.
      Remember that disaster of a trip the Sockmonkey had to India? I suspect that when their internal polls came in, and the riding feedback came in, the party started seeing a shift in voter intentions and it started to spook them. The feed back was likely something along the lines that even liberals where showing signs of voter remorse and worse, starting to believe that the shiny pony was incompetent.
      So what to do?
      You need to show Justin doing things by investing in big projects.
      Build a pipeline, problematic because that would deconstruct his environmental cred with the environmental voters in the MTV.
      A big infrastructure project in Toronto? No, because the photo op would be awkward having to be in the same photo with Doug Ford.
      That leaves Quebec.
      Problem, the preferred contractor was in danger of being barred from government contracts, unless, the law could be changed to keep SNC from criminal prosecution, but still be seen to be punishing them for corruption.
      Hence the decision from the party operatives (Butts Telford and Wernick) to slip the DPA legislation into the budget bill. All the top level agreed to the plan (what could go wrong) and it was delegated to the underlings to follow through. The expectation then was as soon as this thing became law the DPA could be approved and a big fat sole source contract could be announced in the election year budget.
      Everyone thought it was good to go and the word was communcated to the contacts what to expect.
      Then the unexpected happened.
      The director of public Prosecutions who had the authority to award the DPA actually read the law and rejected the application.
      SNC freaks out, they call Butts, they call the Finance minister, they call the members in cabinet from Quebec, they call on the chief of the Privy Office, they even call the PM to ask “what the hell happened?”.
      They panic and start prevailing on the AG to intervene. As she likely already knew what happened and had conferred with the director what the rules where, she responded that her hands where tied and, to her mind anyways, if she did intervene could be deemed guilty of subverting justice.
      The “smart” people didn’t see it that way. To them she was just being difficult and before they understood why she didn’t act, they decided to move someone into the portfolio that was with the program.
      Now its a slow motion train wreck and JWR is going to preserve herself before she preserves anyone else.
      I predict that when she talks, she will say whats neccessary to save herself and everyone else can burn.

    1. Many years ago, while I was a post-secondary educator, the institution’s president at the time told a group of my colleagues that our job was to make our students “successful”. Since our students were supposed to be our “customers”, what being “successful” meant was never defined.

      I gathered from that statement that teaching them how to properly solve a problem or write a clear and comprehensible sentence might not have been what the president had in mind. After all, one mustn’t hurt some kiddie’s feelings by telling him or her that they can’t spell or that their math was wrong.

    Electric cars are overcoming the 4 problems that prevent people from buying them.

    The main issue I have is the article seems to promote people who live in big cities as those who should be driving electric cars. Yet many don’t have parking spaces, including many who live in condos. What? Why do people who live in big city condos need cars anyway? I thought they were all taking public transit to save the planet?

    1. Yes, under the new green scam mental-ity they must give up their cars and take the bus/subway, but have 12 years to do it.

      BTW, to all those Lizzie May save the earth from Canadian oil sands, at <1% of "emissions" – turn in all your plastic or STFU.

    1. This is criminal exploitation of children not fully mature in body or mind. It’s taking the human race to it’s lowest form. It if proliferating with so much false information from so many available sources to boost particular agendas. It’s fed by the creed of socialism.
      Actually it’s now accepted children as young as three years can be diagnosed with, to put it plainly, being born with the wrong “parts”.
      We can now say girls will be girls, boys will be boys until they choose otherwise.

    lack of hard evidence required to establish even attendance, let alone actual abuse.

    How extensive this is/was, would take a lot of investigative resources and a suspension of political correctness to uncover. Both are in short supply.

She describes how a law conference in Toronto has to be held in secret because of leftist threats. It deals with the rule of law, and various threats against freedom of speech by socialists and Islam. It will be held in secret because the first location at a Jewish house of worship was doxxed by Michael Coren who gave out the address and even a picture of the building. Among the panelists is Rex Murphy of the National Post.
