In his play Julius Caesar, William Shakespeare warned of the Ides of March. For Justin Trudeau, February seems to be the problem.
All of Trudeau’s problems are of his own making. All of them. Now if the media would just do their jobs and report extensively on the missteps and outright corruption in the same manner that they flogged the Duffy and $16 orange juice non-stories instead of running interference for the cretin, Trudeau’s problems would be increased exponentially.
The job of the media is to tell you what your masters want you to hear and sell you crap you don’t need.
There is no money in speaking truth to power.
They ARE doing their jobs, and well!
Its just that they are on Team Tyranny.
She didn’t get the usual Helicopter ride with the long drop out the open door….The PM didn’t push her…NO he was looking at the lost Jobs… A pitiful clown that gets his way by conjuring magic….

It appears the SNC lawyers knew about the new law buried in the omnibus budget Bill before the LPC MP’s. Now,how could that have happened?
But as it IS February, the coldest month in Winter, we can rest assured Sunny ways, er Days, are ahead of us. Has anyone started a crowdfund campaign to poor Gerry Butts yet?
I think we are going to find out that SNC-LAVALIN lawyers wrote the language that is in the bill.
Perhaps that is what Justin and Buttsy are hiding.
And the CBC Headline will say:
Conservatives Attack Liberals For Saving Legal Fees!
In my opinion, these issues just highlight the fact that the structure of Canada is broken. The west is always sacrificed for “eastern” interest. If the western part of Canada wants to prosper, the structure of Canada needs to be repaired. To be heard, western Canada should be prepared to leave. Unless there is a serious threat, nothing will change.
Any and all Liberals, across this former country, are as untouchable as a Clinton on a pedophile sex slave island. The system has already collapsed, and has long since been beyond saving.
It is time to just start asking everyone, who says anything idiotic like “people need to wake up”, or “save Canada”, what the five fingers said to the face. The answer is SLAP. Anyone who still thinks this imaginary “canada” place exists needs to have the wrinkles slapped out their face. The stupid slapped out their brains.
“if the media would just do their jobs” biffjr
That is the stupidest thing I have ever read. I am stupider just for reading that. You get the stupid on you, it does not wash out.
It always amazes me that there are people so stupid that they actually believe things like this could happen. Then again, there are people who keep joining the cult of socialism, despite it’s 100% perfect record of mass graves and misery.
This is why it is not possible to win; there are too many absolute and total morons who keep joining our side, and we keep letting them in.
The Trudeaus have never cut any ice with me: what concerns me much more is the the sorry state of the “leadership” of the Conservative Party.
Poor Andrew, duped into a meeting with SNC-Lavalin to provide cover for the Liberals. Almost as stupid as allowing the split with Max Bernier — over supply management! Everybody with two working eyes in southwestern Ontario knows what the Dairy lobby is all about. The split with Max is on Andrew, whose loyalties appear confused to me, to be blunt.
The Tories should be about 15 points ahead in the polls — not languishing, as they certainly are @ Nanos Research. Heck, even Joe Clark managed that much. The Liberals can’t even get the pot to market, much less anything else.
Lisa Raitt would be an excellent choice, actually. Job 1 would to patch it up with Max. Let’s get on with it.
Your political party/church/cult hall is dead. Move on.
Hillary should have 50 points ahead, and so should Scheer. How many points should Bernier be ahead by?
Maybe you’re correct, the centre right should go into the election without credible leadership; that’s the ticket.
I was just thinking, maybe other CPC luminaries could help without actually being the party leader?
“The split with Max is on Andrew”. Agreed. The Scheer boy screwed that one up. Conservative MP’s falsely believe that supporting supply management will garner them votes. Among the people I know in SM the vast majority have and will vote Liberal every time.
Sche(m)er is absolute crap; losing Max IS 100% on him.
Well said.
David, would Lisa Raitt stand with PeeHair against that mean man orange Trump?
“Stand up for jobs across the country…” This is so laughable, it’s sad, frustrating, depressing and absurd. It’s time to call in the RCMP to investigate potential obstruction of justice charges. Should the Liberals get away with this, the country WILL be torn apart with the West (Alta., Sask.) being the first to go.
Good
I look forward to the “obstruction of justice” charges to be laid at the parties involved at the PMO.
Truly a legal sh*t show with “Dame Justice” going cap in hand begging for a fair shake.
According to “True-Dope-ia” justice is only served when it doesn’t threaten their electoral prospects in Quebec.
I hadn’t heard that the PMO ‘gangsta mofos’ were making offers that ‘could not be refused’.
I gather the cavalry isn’t coming over the hill because the horse’s head is already in the bed.
Priceless! Alphonso Gagliano gets a reprise in Prime Minister “Don Corleone”.

There’s nothing here that can’t be fixed by October. Just mix in media amnesia and a bribery budget. See all fixed.
So what if we tax the crap out of Canadian oil and give the Saudis a better deal than out citizens. They’re just corporations.
Just watched the Clerk of the Privy Council at the Justice Committee hearing. He went on the attack during his opening rant, stating that people are going to be assassinated because people on social media are accusing Great Leader of treason. And the Globe and Mail stories are lies and inflammatory. Our civil service at work.
I just stepped away from watching this debacle. I’m livid, I’m so angry yelling at the TV yes partly because of what the Clerk of the Privy Council said, but more so how Raitt et al are handling him and allowing him to filibuster their time, allowing him to avoid answering a direct question, letting him ramble about irrelevant things, and state information that wasn’t asked !!!!!!!!
FU*************K !
Have that CPC not learned anything from the U.S. Democrats, in how to act and question witnesses from any of the hearing in the USA.
For fu*ksakes the CPC looks incompetent ! I can’t even stand to watch anymore, they are being intimidated by the witnesses. They look like 7th graders asking questions to a 30 year career lawyer, he handles them like a breeze.
Here’s their chance to get Liberals looking dirty in front of everyone, and now instead, the CPC desperate, weak and not capable.
If others are watching and the CPC starts impressing people with how they are handling the witnesses, please post and update for me, because I just can’t watch anymore.
I agree. I rarely watch CPAC anymore. In fact, maybe once in the last two years. Not good for the blood pressure levels.
It almost looks like the CPC is deliberately trying to throw the next election.
These committee hearings are a joke as far as getting to the truth on any issue. The majority members just stonewall and obfuscate.
Maybe, just maybe, the CPC is not the opposition. All the own goals are not accidental; they are at best con men. Crooked to the marrow of their bones.
You want to see how a leader really takesthe fight to the enemy, watch President Trump. The CPC goes through the motions.
He hedged his bets while pulling his punches by stating he never personally witnessed any undue influence.
That hardly means none happened. This would not have been “for the minutes.”
It is a good job I am an blood pressure meds. What a piece of work. Condescending bastard lecturing us on how protected we are because Canada has the best protection statutes against corruption. That may be true but his facile argument ignores the fact that the rules are not being observed. Which is why he is sitting in that room. Good grief man. A Librano consigliere if ever there was one.
I see he has been in his position for 37 years which brings to my mind certain words, flexible, oleaginous, and lickspittle. ( The Urban Dictionary definition of lickspittle may be a tad harsh but you get the gist.
The Spawn has predictably soiled himself and he doesn’t have Butts around anymore to clean him up. The battle for the hearts and minds of the mushy and mindless “middle” of the Canadian electorate will now proceed a little with or without the help of that integral part of the institutional left that masquerades as media. In such a battle, the Conservatives have an excellent leader as no one in politics today could compete with Scheer for the “mushy middle” claimed turf. And yet, as totally inferior in character and policy as he is to Mad Max, he is the best option to attain power to possibly retard the culturally dominant ongoing and irreversible decline in Canadian prosperity.
In such a battle, the Conservatives have an excellent leader as no one in politics today could compete with Scheer for the “mushy middle” claimed turf.
I disagree. A real Liberal will outflank a fake Liberal every time. What will be the CPC message? We are not as bad as you think!?
I sense a catchy jingle coming up here …
Hey voters, look at this CPC,
we’re not as bad as you think,
maybe you just noticed,
something’s starting to stink
and it’s their guy,
no we don’t mean Jag,
it’s their guy,
he’s a bit of a
THIS COMMERCIAL HAS BEEN INTERRUPTED SO THAT WE CAN BRING YOU THE LATEST STATEMENT OF CONCERN ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING. GLOBAL WARMING HAS NOW MADE IT SNOW IN LAS VEGAS. FFS, STOP DRIVING YOUR CARS. THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING. NOW BACK TO THAT ANNOYING CONSERVATIVE AD
This message was approved by somebody, we don’t have to name names do we?
I’m guessing Buttsy is hiding behind the curtain. Just outa sight. He’s too valuable to bongo to have ridden over the hill.
ab, I feel that butt’s ego will get the best of him in short order, and he will turn against PeeHair, and the back room infighting will be a spectacle to be hold, as other players like War-nutz Can’tsells will be in there like a dirty shirt on wash day Monday. I don’t think we’v seen the end yet. Butt’s will have a huge ego, and it will be badly bruised , even tho it appears he took the fall willingly. Fact is, I believe it was forced by WR, and there fore will be a sore point for buttsie
Buttsy is universally despised by damn near ever librano MP. Cabinet ministers had to go through him in order to get an audience with bongo.
The librano MP’s are cheering his departure. I still cant figure out why he took the high jump? What else is there to come?
I’d like to see him turn on T2 and rip him a new one but too much is at stake here.
I agree. Butts is the actual power behind the empty facade of a leader. Didn’t Trudeau himself call his PM position as “ceremonial”?
I’m with Kevin on this.
Canada is done.
Decades of corruption means it is the norm.
Our progressive comrades,60% of those who vote, believe corruption is business as normal and reliably vote to reward the corrupt.
There is no business case for confederation.
If you doubt me,please present one.
All that keeps us in Canada is inertia and family ties, yet those do not pay the rent.
Financially the West is far better off free of Canada.
Structurally?
What do we have in common with those who mock hard work, business and private property?
Who in the West supports the, above the law, Human Rights Commissions?
The corruption of CSA? Stats Canada?RCMP? Or the idiocy from the Supreme Court?.
Rule of law is important, without the citizenry buying in to that concept, civic interactions are impossible.
Who in Canada promotes Rule of Law?
Let alone actual justice?
We are not leaving Canada,Canada moved on and left us behind.
Of course we are now feasting our eyes on the idiocy they moved on to, but I refuse to pay twice for the stupidity of the East.
That debt, unfunded liabilities of empty promises and the inverted pyramid of takers over makers…All coming due.
Guess who is currently fingered to pay…
Yes you,in the West.
Start calling our country “Bananada” as it is.
I’d like to point out something incredibly important that I haven’t seen reported yet.
JWR quits cabinet. JT invokes solicitor client privilege to prevent her from speaking. JWR retains lawyer to figure out how she can speak. GB resigns
JWR asks to address cabinet. JT, in a monumentally stupid decision, agrees. Someone in cabinet promptly leaks the gist of what JWR said, confirming she felt pressure from PMO to intervene on SNCs behalf. JWR has not violated solicitor-client privilege.
Two points.
1) JT should never have permitted JWR to address cabinet if he wasn’t 100% sure every person in the room would keep their mouth shut.
2) Someone in that cabinet meeting felt safe enough to stab JT in the back by leaking what JWR had to say.
JWR speaking to cabinet may have been a ploy to leak her story. Certainly worked out that way.
Knives appear to be out and some preliminary stabs have been taken. If I was one of the cabinet ministers in that meeting who was strongly pushing to allow JWR to speak, I’d be watching my back right now. Seems that with GB out, some members of cabinet have become emboldened.
This is precisely the problem, when you have someone who “admires basic dictatorship” running the PMO show…
Speaking freely and unencumbered is a luxury and privilege in ‘basic dictatorships’.
As usual with those who promote this view, there are some citizens who are “more equal” before the law than others.
And thus corruption begets more corruption.
Cheers

Mecheng – you may be right. Some information has leaked out of the cabinet meeting JWR spoke at…..
The whispered suggestion tonight is that JWR is the leaker …..
Its nice to see a bit of a schism splitting the scumbag MSM lying fcuktard brigade. Their hero, PM K-BecOnly, is all over the place like Rolling Stone spunk on his mother’s clothes.
But its only February and in October the stuttering, groping criminal will ease into his 2nd term because this country is a neo-Marxist haven of corruption and taint, stupidity, ignorance and indolence.
Firstly: this will all blow over and JT will be re-elected. My God are Canadians really that stupid? I hope not.
Secondly: Alberta & Saskatchewan are hinting at “separation” Please, if push comes to shove let B.C. in even though northern B.C. would have to separate from the socialist southern part of the province.
If by any chance the foregoing could possibly take place just imagine how better off we in the West would be. (talk about dreaming)
I enjoy listening to western lament, but it wasn’t the eastern bastards that voted for Notley and Nenshi.
And those two assholes almost look good compared to Horgan and Weaver. No, Western separatism goes nowhere unless the result is a culture supportive of liberty and I only see populism masked as conservatism struggling to reach 40 plus % of the electorate with the remainder: leftists, leftist greens, mushy moderate leftists and free stuff barking seals.
Well, then you have it. We are screwed here in the west. The Laurentian Elite have won again.
I can only wish that Don Deacon’s ‘secondly’ could come true.
Go easy Bruce Ranta or we’ll start mentioning Dalton, Kathleen,Bob, Justin
etc
If only Harper had listened to the base and taken a stronger stand, drawn clearer lines of distinction. That campaign concept “he’s not ready” sort of gave away the real agenda which was that Harper could deliver what people might want from Justin Trudeau. The more relevant slogan might have been, “he is ready” followed by what he was ready to do.
Some blame Harper entirely, I blame the cigarette man types in behind the curtains who want to be more or less like Liberals only with lower taxes and a bit of muscle in the military. That was good enough for a little while but with this globalist assault on our national sovereignty and frankly on sanity (riding bicycles will not change the weather and anyway it’s too damned cold now, what’s the point?) we need something like what Max Bernier is trying to create, only with all the resources of a major party.
This is the same dilemma faced by conservatives in many western countries. In the USA, they have Trump, and he’s obviously fighting the good fight, but I do sense that it has not been properly framed for the benefit of those who need a little more convincing. How anyone with eyes open could need that, I don’t know, but I’ve been to Ottawa and not just to see the sights, so I know what happens in this country, maybe even more things than some here. Life has taken me on quite a Canadian journey, I could write something like the Maple Archipelago at this point. But why bother if the average citizen and voter then turns around and says, “but he has such a nice smile.”
Obama has a great smile and Fidel used to smile once or twice to relax his facial muscles during those seven hour speeches. Maybe he was going into one of those back when … well that won’t be in my book.
For the time being, I do call on Scheer and Bernier to sit down and maybe divide up the ridings so Max can run in a few decent ridings but not split the vote, or just be men and do the right thing for Canada. This is not the time to be enabling a weak majority 2000 style (remember, and we got same sex marriage out of that fiasco).
