  1. So the hunt is on to find a perp.
    Please carry on.
Do want to point out a subtext that is being played out, and I’ll restrict my comment to keep this thread from getting hijacked.
It would appear this is a repeat of the John Turner – Jean Chretien battle .
On one side you have the establishment (Ottawa) and on the other you have the outsider setting the stage for a leadership coup.
Thats all I have to say about that unless I see another thread come up.
Please return to openly speculating on the identity of the mole and who knew what and when did they know it.

    1. yup Joseph, that is my thinking as well. Last prov. election here had several big liberal names supporting Ford. And I think that behind the seen liberals and big business are orchestrating this. Does any one that big liberal business wants the business destruction we are now seeing.

  2. Nothing will happen. Hell if the Liberals could steal 300M in Adscam, and then appoint their own Liberal judge for an enquiry. And Chretien talked about golf. And Canadians still voted for a guy who was a part time Drama Teacher. Canadians have an ingrained stupidity and are masochistic, they love getting humped dry. They love the floggings, so gutless they smile and hand over most of their pay checks to the Master and slither away. Even the damned French have more guts. Come come now. Laws are for LITTLE PEOPLE. Not Royalty like Trudeau.

    1. That depends.
Paul Martin let the inquiry take place because he wanted to use it as a means to get at Chretien.
Half the party that still liked Chretien where totally po’d and sat on their hands come election time.
We may see a repeat, but not until their is a perceived leadership contender.
Right now Judy is keeping mum so she can keep the high ground while still appearing like a team player.
Taking everything in consideration, this issue may have spawned to get the Sockmonkey to ditch Butts and Telford.
Its all a matter of timing and staging.
Right now I don’t think the Sockmonkey had anything to do with this because he hasn’t the skill or ability to. Remember he doesn’t know anything unless someone tells him its important. The conversation could have come up with his inner circle and they would either be told to take care of it (too complicated for him) or he was told not important (they knew he would screw it up).
So if he says “no direction” then thats what he knows he was told at the time or was told when he was asked. Remember this is a guy whose training was how to strike a pose and read a script, and he doesn’t do that very well. He got his job by being in the lucky chromosome club, not by being skilled. The skill set at work is within the PMO.
Right now the Sockmonkey is convinced, because he told, that there was nothing untoward happened. So who told him?
Answer, those he spends the most time with.
Aka the same advisor that was in Dalton Mcguinty’s office when the gas plant cancellation was approved.
See the pattern the media will be given before the next election.
They throw Gerald under the bus but not until they can find a suitable replacement.
Until then this story is going to grow legs.
I’m guessing another leak before the end of the week.

      1. You missed the whole point. 300 M in TAX DOLLARS WAS STOLEN. Nothing happened. LAWS are for the LITTLE PEOPLE. Not the Ruling Elite.

        1. Oh no. I completely concur.
This crap has happened and will happen in the future, these are human beings and are fallible.
My point is that this is more of a house of cards scenario. The little people only find out about this when they want the mob incited. Liberals will be desperate to invoke plausible denial to protect the Sockmonkey, JRW is another protected species though not to the limit of the Sockmonkey, for the time being. The only protection that the PMO has right now is that friendship that exists with the Sockmonkey. Should this get too close to the Sockmonkey Butt’s will be thrown under the bus as designated blamee. But until the Sockmonkey can be convinced of this story the denial will continue and the press gallery has an easy story to write.
This isn’t so much a scandal as it is an Ottawa bubble food chain.

          1. Nonsense. Jody will be the one who’s going to be run over by the bus.
As AG she was involved, and Juthin, seeing how she was abusing her position, moved in and demoted her to veterans affairs. Her statement upon leaving her post as AG, was butt covering, plain and simple.
That will be the story and the bought media will fall in line, as will the first immigrant community, less they see upset their extortion racket.
Call me cynical if you wish.

    1. exactly.
      ‘call da khaps’
uhuh. which ones? the FARCEcmpee? the ones with a BILLION ‘with a B’ class action suit sitting in their lap for SEXUAL HARASSMENT of the female employees, officers AND civvies?
      https://www.rcmpclassaction.ca/
that one? they even gots dere hown webshite !!!

who ya gonna call, ‘Ghost Busters !!!!!’ yaaa !!!! hollyweird gonna save our fantasy of
      hoity toitiness in ottawa !!!

  3. A side observation here: I was watching and snickering at a conspiracy nut on You Tube the other day who was alleging that the American media is being controlled by China. I thought it was insanely funny until I began to notice something strange. The Canadian media has suddenly turned on Little Potato about the same time Lil Pot picked the US side with its demand to bring the Chinese tech spying company’s CFO to justice. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

    1. Funny that, I’ve been thinking the same thing myself. China is the enemy…they always will be & Huawei is not a provider of “benign” technology. There’s Damned good reasons many more intelligent Countries have said Adios to that crowd…yet here we kiss their ass and advertise their AI spyware on HNIC.

Justins Advisors pushing him to kiss Chinese ASS was beyond stupid..but with someone steeped in Communism, it was easy for him to fall into that trap…. I’m curious as to what hold the Chinese have on Butts and Telford…?? If any.

As to the MSmedia…? just Whores period. The lot of them with the Exclusion of Brain Lilley, Spencer Fernando and the Rebel.

  4. If Andrew Scheer as opposition leader is able to by his position as opposition leader call in the police to conduct an investigation he should do do so before the media’s and the public’s attention is too diverted by the female apparel at the Grammys.

  5. What a stupid headline. Everyone, but everyone knows what Trudeau and the Liberals are trying to hide. They are corrupt. They got caught and we can’t even get the guts to call it what it is. Stop the smarmy rhetorical crap and call it. Liberals are corrupt. Trudeau is corrupt.

    1. “…everyone knows what Trudeau and the Liberals are trying to hide.”

Then you are giving your fellow Canadians a lot more credit than I do.

  6. Trudeau is bullying attorney general Jody Wilson-Raybould .
He figuratively groped her and elbowed her in the tits to get her out of his way.
Will his pretty boy smile and nice hairdo blind women voters to how he bullied her?

Might as well use Mr. Feminist’s politically correct bullshit against him.
Someone should ask the former attorney general if she feels bullied and threatened by him.

    1. Exactly. For instance it sure looks like Trudeau was smirking at JWR when she was demoted. A white guy *smirking* at an aboriginal…worse an aboriginal woman. After Covington we all know (from journalists) that a white guy smirking at an aboriginal person is not only disrespectful; it is a clear sign of racism. Since JWR is an aboriginal woman it’s racist and sexist and probably indicates Trudeau is secretly alt-right. Then Trudeau and his PMO leak “sources ” attacking her character. Outrage from the media should be deafening on those points alone.

      Trudeau…Smirking at an Aboriginal person…in Canada…in 2019.

Trudeau…firing an Aboriginal woman for doing her job and standing up to powerful white men…in Canada…in 2019.

Trudeau…organising the character assination of an aboriginal woman employee…in Canada…in 2019.

      /s

  7. We need to good, smart, non partisan RCMP detectives to go in there and sort this out.

If they did do this, someone has got to go to jail, this is absolutely outrageous.

It also highlights the absolute failure of the conservatives as an opposition party and failure by the media in the air cover that the CBC and the star are out there with on this story.

We no longer function as a fair, just and free society and it’s all due to these kangaroo courts the LIEberals have put in place over the years.

    CALL THE COPS!!!!

    1. B&C, yep, call the cops. The cops headed by a Trudeau appointee. In the civil service and all government agencies, there is an unwritten rule: don’t rock the boat.

    2. uhuh.
what about the fcukin RCMP led investigation into BC casinoes at the deep centre of
      MONEY LAUNDERING.

ya, that investigation that got DROPPED on a ‘technicality’ after 2 fcukin years.
      that one.

      google it.

  8. Yeah. Right.

My faith in the rule of law will be restored when the Tapette is found guilty of child molestation and sentenced to a long prison term, to be served in general population.

Let him get a taste of what poor men framed by bitter ex-wives for sex crimes they did not commit have to endure for a few years.

While you’re at it, let those men go free.

  9. I was going to post “where’s Chuck Guite when you need him”? Chuck is retired at age 76, but I looked him up and lo and behold, he was a Mulroney appointee, kept on by Chretien.

It’s so nice to see co-operation between political Parties. If a vote was taken in the House today as to whether to prosecute Trudeau , I bet it would be almost unanimously “NO”, including Scheer’s vote. They’ll find a low level minion to take the flak,it’s how the Mafia has always operated.

  10. I still can’t believe Fife might be the guy who takes down Trudeau. I’ve always thought of him as a fake news liberal party stenographer.

    1. The “news” cabal knows the gravy train ends with a election staring Trudeau. They see the light.
Its not a new leaf they’ve discovered.

  11. Its the Qubecois FRENCH in all of that …. There is your root of Corruption. Its in their Genome for christs sake.

If you’ve ever run a business or been in sales in Quebec or Eastern Ontario, you would know precisely what I’m talkin about. Payola, Graft, Bribes, under the table deals, on the take….it’s all there and its freaking Rampant.

The Real reason Enrgy East did not go through.???
The Longshormen run the Montreal Port. Said Longshormen are “managed” by the MAFIA. As such, the Montreal Ports generate lots of “loose” Cash shall we say….Enough to grease every Public Servant right up to the Premiers Office. And no one wants that gravey train to stop…something a Pipeline would so obviously do.

Have you all forgotten about the big Quebec Coruption trial/enquiry here a while back.?? Now we’ve got SNC Lavalin in one…this is ONGOING people.

As to the Filth in the PMO…? Guilty as original sin…of more than just corruption IMO.

  12. Three additions to the scandal at the bottom. I think it’s important to keep a tally because the LPC and the progressive media will try to distract and muddy the water. The crime is obstruction of justice and the timeline of events is damning.

-SNC has a history of bribing government employees and politicians
-SNC was already found guilty of illegal donations to the Liberal Party
-SNC lobbied Liberals for help in a current corruption case
-Liberals then enacted new laws that would help SNC avoid criminal penalties
-SNC was refused access to the new remediation process bu Canada’s top public prosecutor.
    -SNC lobbies Liberals again
-Liberal PMO allegedly pressured AG to pressure the public prosecutor to allow SNC to use new remediation process
-AG refuses and is shortly thereafter fired and demoted
    – The new Liberal AG is from SNC’s riding in Quebec
    – The new AG says there’s no need to investigate Lavscam because Trudeau denied the charges
-Trudeau won’t waive solicitor-client confidentiality for the previous AG which would allow her to talk about the SNC scandal
-Trudeau also directs Liberal committee members, who are the majority, to refuse to allow parliamentary investigation into the SNC scandal
-The progressive media begins a character assination campaign against the former AG, an indigenous woman lawyer, at the behest of our “feminist, aboriginal reconciliation” prime minister
-In an oddly worded letter at the time, the fired AG writes a farewell letter talking about judicial independence and political interference. Now looks like areference to SNC affair and political pressure by Trudeau after she refused to pressure public prosecutor on SNCs behalf.
-Canada’s top public prosecutor is also quoted talking about judicial independence and political interference, says SNC should not be allowed to access new remediation process.
-Trudeau’s newly appointed AG from SNCs Quebec riding completely overruling old AG and Canada’s top public prosecutor by saying SNC may now get the new remediation process.Surprisingly, he doesn’t mention judicial independence and political interference.

    1. Any journalist who can’t connect those dots probably can’t tie their own shoes -or- is so biased they just refuse to acknowledge the obvious. So, they distract from the core issues –obstruction of justice and political interference– by talking about Scheer and Harper, attacking the character of the fired AG (JWR), Quebec jobs and throwing in all sorts of other irrelevant information.

None of these distractions justifies obstruction of justice and political interference that allows the old boys club of white collar criminals and crony corporations to evade criminal prosecution. Both the fired AG and Canada’s top public prosecutor are strongly inferring obstruction of justice and political interference. The timeline of events definitely supports their charges.

    2. The mediocracy has a history of making all Grit scandals go away during elections while fabricating “bad news” for Tories.
Who is naïve enough to not believe knuckle dragging Fife, Fossil Oliver or the Toronto-Ottawa cabal won’t cover for them?
They will make lots of noise with plenty of well timed tut-tuts, then declare it much ado about nothing, so the fix goes back in.
This thing will be dead and buried by the end of the summer; unless, by chance it grabs the public consciousness.
Add that to the attempted Dreyfuss J’accuse Court moment presently underway in the Normal trial, maybe it has legs.
I seriously doubt that; in any event don’t bother counting on the sycophantic mediocracy giving any momentum to the CPC.
Unless Nanos has the Tories ten points ahead by the end of August, it’s game over for them, the citizens, and the country.
Counting of Trudeau voter remorse, especially in 905 land, is sketchy at best. If Scheer plays it safe he will lose for sure.

  13. As I alluded to previous, the only reaso this surfaced isn’t due to a random act of journalism.
I believe this came out due to liberal party politics.
Why would a career ending story be released by the Globe and Mail? Theuy claim its from their reliable source, but that does not make it true, even if I have a bias that finds it completely plausible. It is an allegation, a very damning one that could see the Sockmonkey one and done, but an allegation none the less. So let’s presume this “source” was deemed to have a story that is verified as true and the Globe has no reason to believe they are playing the role of usefu idiot. Then consider that the motive for going to the press the source felt that it was in their interest that they go to the press, and not the police. The police would have to investigate and then the story doesn’t go away until they find a perp, or they find no evidence. Go to the media and the politics comes into play. Politicians scream outrage, the PM declares nothing to see hear, and a lot of folks get taken away with a lot of speculation, true or not. The point is it causes disruption and the nervous nellies in the government start looking over their shoulder wondering if some past misdeed is about to be brought to the light of day by some ambitious rival. But I digress.
The PMO has been cast as the villain in this story.
So, trusted government source rats out PMO, whats the motive?
Who in the government has an axe to grind with one or multiple staff in the PMO?
Know anyone that recently got the shaft because of something they did, or advised the PM to do?

  14. Don’t get your hopes up friends that this will harm Trudeau’s election prospects.

Look at the source. I bet the Globe and Mail is coordinating with the Liberal Party. Good to get some of that bad news out now before the election so that the opposition parties cannot use it later.

Notice that the G and M did not run Scheer’s column, even though they broke the original story. Hmmm….I wonder why…..

National Post ran Scheer’s column today. Sun ran it today. But not the G and M.

Having seen for 30 years how the G and M works I speculate this is a pre-emptive move on their part, coordinated with Butts and other scum in the PMO’s office, designed to ultimately help Trudeau by clearing the deck of all bad news before the summer.

    1. BC, and mop and pail is also the business man’s paper, and business is being hurt big time. I feel it’s a coup, or partial coup.

  15. Saint John NB Liberal MP Wayne Long has called for an open investigation of the PMO.

Of course Long was previously suspended for opposing the Liberal Government’s Small Business Tax Increase and probably has less contact and influence with the PMO than most people facing unemployment.

Where oh where are the mighty, untalked about, numerous Western Liberal MPs?
Do they get to separate too?

  16. Conservatives have to hammer on this relentlessly, it’s a scandal, it should take Trudeau down. It’s beyond Wafergate and we know how long the Liberals hung onto that farce. Corrupt practices cannot be tolerated. Media need to keep hammering Trudeau as he runs around the country campaigning on our dime.

    1. ?
you mean there are actually true CONservatists around with knowledge of exactly
      *how* to swing a hammer?
      where be they?

  17. I’ve tried several times to post this. Perhaps it was the inclusion of the MPs’ emails that threw it out. I’ll try again with the list of the Justice Committee members, this time just their names and party affiliations. I’m pissed off enough with this SNC-Lavalin palm-greasing mess to keep trying.
    JUSTICE COMMITTEE MEMBERS
    Anthony Housefather L; Chris Bittle, L; Randy Boissonnault, L; Colin Fraser, L; Iqra Khalid, L; Ron McKinnon, L; Ted Falk, C;
Michael Cooper, C; Rob Nicholson, C; Alistair MacGregor, ND.
How many hundreds of millions and counting?
