The Long Delayed 2018 Mid-Term Contest Results

The contest results were initially delayed as we waited for a few close seats to be decided by fraud. That situation was further compounded by my forgetfulness and procrastination, and for that I apologize!

I’ve finally reviewed the entries and while several were close in predicting the final seat tally in one or the other, I found just a single entry that successfully predicted the Democrats would take the House, while the Republicans would hold the Senate, so I’m awarding the win on that basis.

Don Morris, shoot me an email and we’ll get a book out to you.

(NOTE: If anyone out there spots an error in my reasoning or calculations, let me know. I have lots of books).

  1. Congrats Don.

Sadly, I grossly overestimated the sanity of my fellow citizens. Turns out, they actually HATE a thriving economy and care more about how many presidential Tweets involve “mean” things said about idiots and losers.

  2. Lots of books??
Why? Surely you have a TV ?
Why would you want books? Thats not even last century.
    Come on Kate.

      1. Exactly !
Personally i have never owned one. I always figured if I had enough spare time it would be better spend socialising at a local bar with neighbours and friends.

  3. Thanks for the offer of the book Kate, but none of your contact addresses work on my computer. Maybe donate it to the local library.

  4. TV needed sometimes for hockey or baseball. Get to watch them that way as to poor to attend, lol.

  5. Congratulations Don,

I was waaaayyy off. The Democrats showed up in 2018. So did their dead and illegal immigrant allies and the fraud. The Democrats showed up like it was a Presidential Election Year. The Republicans and Trump supporters did not.

In my state, both incumbent Democrat senators won. We lost two metropolitan area Congress seats, including the NeverTrumper Erik Paulsen. We picked up two outstate Representative seats from the Democrats, including the long time Democrat union stronghold of Northern Minnesota Iron Range.

    1. There’s still no evidence of mass illegal voting or any other fraud. “Fraud” = conservaderps are losing and don’t want to take responsibility.

Further, it’s not true that the GOP didn’t show up. Both parties got their bases out-highest turnout in decades. The Democrats have a far bigger base. Look for that disparity to grow.

          1. I thought UnMe was self-described as a libertarian. Except, you know, different from all those other libertarians that have a consistent worldview.
