    1. Black female trumps jew in the order of Scientific Identityism. Blacks can’t be prejudice because 400 years of white devil slavery, financed by Jews and perpetrated today Jew money in Pro sports…
      ( or sump’tn like that)

        1. And where were many of those slaves from, hmmmmm? I think one might find the answer to that in a series of books, starting with Genesis.

  1. But, but . . . Alice Walker is a black woman, therefore she has no original sin or permanent sin and is perfect in every way. So if you dare criticize her for ANYTHING then YOUUUUUU are a racist, misogynist, and bigot!

When will you silly SDA readers finally understand this simple narrative?!?

    1. Oh I think we get it here. Current pecking order has the whitey Honky class in last place and the Kike class in second last place, with the only exceptions being individuals of either class identifying with radical leftist causes.

  2. Man oh man! She’s just lucky she’s not a 94 year old Kraut, or Bernie Farber would be all over her!

  3. Jew hatred has been on the increase for some time now. I find a direct correlation with the influx of the followers of islam.

  4. This vicious little POS is a saint to the progressive movement after she wrote Colour Purple. They will either ignore her antisemitism, or, more frightening, make the choice to chose blacks over Jews and justify that idea.

  5. Alice Walker is a fine writer and she can read what she wants. You don’t have to agree with her politics. This is another attempt by the media to force everyone into the box of political correctness. The interviewee had presumably not heard about Icke previously. You can bet that thousands of others who had not heard about him are now more aware because of this much ado about nothing. This attempted smear campaign is appalling.

    1. Alice Walker, had she been white, would have been seen her manuscripts sent directly to any reputable publisher’s wastepaper basket. She owes her entire career in letters to political correctness. Like almost all of the so-called literati of black America, she has nothing to say and cannot write anything but self-pitying tracts blaming whitey (Jews amd Christians alike) for all black America’s problems. The sort of thing only self-hating whites willingly pay good money to read.

If it ever please God to suffer the Negroids to give us a Shakespeare or a Tolstoy, I look forward to reading him. I’m not holding my breath.

      1. Shakespeaere and Tolstoy are only two people. How many writers can live up to their legacy? Only a handful. That does not mean that other writers have nothing to offer. Walker is as good as most respected authors of today. Many current writers are far worse. If you do not like her as a black writer, try some others — James Baldwin or Earnest Gaines. In any event, my point is that she can read what she wants, and to make a fuss about her reading tastes is political correctness run amok.

  6. Count on more Jew haters coming out of the rotten woodwork as Israel takes care of their backyard with US soon out of Syria.

  7. The marketplace decides who is popular. When you produce a book like Walker’s ‘Colour Purple’ you dont owe a damn thing to affirmative action or political correctness.

You may not like the book or the writer but the marketplace does.

  8. Oddly, Richard Cohen (cohenr@washpost.com) does not reserve his opprobrium for his boss, Jeff Bezos, who profits from the sale and distribution of Mr. Icke’s book.

which seems to me a greater misdemeanor than merely reading it.

Nor does Mr. Cohen bother to quote the NYT directly, or even any one of the many high-octane passages in Mr. Ickes book. No, Mr. Cohen’s say so is, apparently, all the evidence I need.

So it was unnecessary that Mr. Cohen present any evidence of what Ms. Walker thought of it, which is the low rhetorical business of guilt by association.

And so the actual target of Mr. Cohen’s ire is a similarly obscure cog at the NYT whom he accuses as being insufficiently ardent in gate keeping Wrongthink.

The story should be: Scratch a Bezos blog hack, and you’ll find someone eager to make unprincipled exceptions to the First Amendment.

Altogether too bad. In gentler times, we could afford a bit of satiric introspection about these things.
