    1. If it hadn’t been for announcements on Edmonton Transit when I was travelling to and from my house in B. C. this past week, I wouldn’t have known that the Grey Cup game was today.

      1. “on Edmonton Transit when I was travelling to and from my house in B. C. this past week”

        You lost me.

        1. There was no mention elsewhere.

None of the stores I went to mentioned anything when, normally, I would have expected all sorts of displays and advertising about the event. The only place I actually heard about it was on the train that I took to catch the bus to the airport and, after I returned, on the bus back into the city.

  1. Wow so now SJW’s are attacking lesbians for not being attracted to trans “girls” who happen to be schwing’n their genetically formulated junk: http://www.advicegoddess.com/archives/2018/11/the-latest-in-c.html (h/t Instapundit).

So my question is…how are these willing trans girls wanting to get physical with their lesbian sisters and what exactly about lesbians are so attractive to trans girls? Facial hair? Maybe the targeted lesbian practitioners are smelling a bit of a rat about this sex shaming attempt when all they really want to smell are fish… Apparently the xy “gals” have hit a snag in trying to shove their equality down everyone’s throat and aren’t exactly reacting in a lady-like fashion. Makes one wonder about giving trans “girls” unfettered access to women’s facilities if a number of those trans girls having penis’s are actually attracted to biological girls with vaginas. Powder keg – check. Match lit – check.

    1. I am old enough to remember when the phrase “lesbian trapped in a man’s body” was treated as a joke.

    2. First it was men who weren’t attracted to the I, Napoleon brigade who were “phobic”. Now it’s lesbians?

      1. Yep. There SHALL be a new offence manufactured every day. You SHALL be offended appropriately; but only by the appropriate things, the definition of which changes on a nanosecond timescale based on a 3 billion person committee, all of which never agree. But you SHALL please all of their conflicting demands at the same time.

The SSJWs (Schutzstaffel Justice Warriors) have constructed a perfect Kafka trap for themselves. All victims must be believed, and when the victims start fighting with each other? Well, all victims must be believed. So every single one of them are damned no matter which side they pick or fail to pick.

This why that gym teacher ran like a bat out of hell as soon as that “boy” with a uterus came into the locker room and started undressing; he was going to be drawn and quartered no matter what he did. But at least he was not hung for being a perv.

        Homosexual vs muslim
        trans vs lesbian
        lesbian vs homo
        muslim vs trans
        trans vs pan
        sierhgoireubveri vs weqoiruodsajknckjsdhr

It is funny how obvious it is who is the top of the totem pole.

No gay wedding cake has ever been required from a muslim baker.
No trans “woman with penis” has ever tried to get into the ladies area at the local mosque (or if they have, the body just disappeared and the RCMP never asked any questions).
No other group even tries to challenge their supremacy.

All the rest are simply fighting over who is the distant number 2.

  2. Kate, the SDA address says “not secure” instead of https. Please tell us your blog is not being disappeared like News Hubnation?

  3. I see GM is about to close the Oshawa operation. Would they be another casualty of high taxes, high hydro rates and other idiotic government BS? A carbon tax comes to mind.

    1. Is that for real, old white guy, or just speculation? I hope it’s true. NOTHING squeals louder than an unhappy unionist.

Or could it be that the Trumpster is messing with us again, trying to get a couple billion from the Butthole before really pulling the plug?

      1. Seems pretty certain according to the news sites. Wonder what happened to all the money given to GM as a loan that was forgiven by governments?

        1. Federal Economic Development Minister Navdeep Bains was just on TV with a half-hour news scrum, and has reassured Canadians that he is on top of things. Apparently there is an innovation and adjustment fund that can be used to sprinkled here and there. No problems, no worries.

          1. And on another point, the federal Liberals insist that all economic policies must be enacted through a gender-equity lens. Since most of the workers on the Oshawa production line are men, the fact that the 2,500-worker facility is closing does pass Justin Trudeau’s test. It’s mostly men who lose out. Therefore there is nothing to worry about.

    2. Yeah. Thanks for the bailout Canada now fuck off. Harper hated the bailout and is still grousing about it.

bomb-ba-deer operates the same way. Give us cash or were gone.

Perfect timing though for bongo. GM leaves and he wears it.

    3. Another example of Prinz Dummkopf growing the economy from the (p)heart outwards.

  4. Calgary was better. Ottawa’s QB stank.

Had an argument during the game with a cunned stunt who couldn’t see the relationship between the world’s human population and pollution, garbage, deforestation, war, disease, biodiversity loss, etc… and of course she is a big advocate of carbon taxation, etc. Always claims to be the smartest person in the room.
In her 40’s, lives alone, nuff said.

    1. I keep telling people about the joke that is climate change and how the idiots in Canada are importing tens of thousands of carbon units and think they are going to reduce carbon. it don’t get much dumber than that and Canadians seem to be in favor of it.

  5. I wasn’t into it. Watched most of it, but I guess the excitement of getting a team back in Ottawa and winning the cup a couple of years ago was enough.

  6. The Grey Cup game made no sense at all until I realized that the team callled the Red/Blacks was not the team with the red/black uniform.
Was there some kind of subliminal message intended?

    1. Red/Blacks has got to be the most ridiculous name ever attached to a sports team. Oh well. At least it’s almost impossible for even the hyper-sensitive to be offended by the name. Now the Cleveland Indians, Atlanta Braves, Edmonton Eskimos, Kansas City Chiefs … now that’s another story.

      1. Actually, I like the name Red/Blacks. It is catchy. I am not sure what it is to represent, though, and not having a red-black uniform is indeed confusing. Next up we will have a Green/Yellow’s team — though that does not work quite so well.

        1. I like it as well. teams named after the colour of their uniforms has a long history. I never understood the appeal of a team named after a foreign military unit that had nothing to do with Canada.

        2. LUMBERJACKS, named in honour of Canadian lumberjacks. Red and black flannel shirts, and toques, don’t forget the toques.

      2. I agree it is the worst name ever…calling a team…( gulp…)
“COMMUNIST NEGROID” is simply rude, which is what Red Blacks really means. I am shocked at their audacity.

        What the fk Ottawa?
        Change it.
        Now.
        Are you stupid?
        What were you thinking?

  7. If I were a G.M dealer in Ontario, I would be contacting Hyundai or Kia asap to try and obtain a franchise
By the same token anyone in Ontario who is contemplating purchasing a G.M. product should give their head a shake and look for another brand.

    1. If you’ve ever driven by the parking lot of one of the big three vehicle manufacturers you will be stunned by the number of Hyundai, Kia, Honda, Toyota…. vehicles the unionistas drive. They work for GM and they drive foreign made vehicles? Yeah I can’t figure it out either.

      1. My father-in-law worked at the GM plant in St. Catharines for twenty-six years and drove Ford cars and trucks all the time. He said this was because he saw how they were made.

  8. hands up, who was it here declared only property owners should land (pun intended) on the voters list?
whut a fcuking ginormous step back. to the earliest days of the newborn democratic notion in jolly ol’ England Magna Carta type days.

today’s follow up Q: whut kind of biased politishun would wind up in orifice with THAT stipulation?
A: those favouring entrenchment of da status quo, ie reinforcing the wealth disparity.
only the wealthy get to vote, thus only politishuns favouring the wealthy landowners get to make the rules,
thereby paving the way to more land acquisition et FCUKING cetera.

law of unintended consequences anyone? THAT set up is WHY we’ve had deadly and many SOCIALIST revolutions.
but I guess that’s what you want in the long run eh?

    1. Don’t think we ever said property owners only, except in the context of how things were before universal sufferage (note: it was not womens sufferage, it was universal sufferage). We have had many proposals that only net taxpayers should vote.

      1. ah.
by your logic then, a megacorp that drives their taxable I/C down to ZIP has no say in things?
        I would agree to that.
besides which, limiting voting rights to property owners is a teensy step from same thing about taxpayers.
it all still lays within the confines of ‘law of unintended consequences’

        1. Megacorps don’t get to vote anyway, except with their feet the way GM just did.
The idea is no representation without taxation.
We have to let the 2 million new voters abroad who cut ties with Canada know that voting is one measure CRA uses to determine if you have to pay taxes in Canada. Vote for Trudeau and get a big tax bill, just like everyone else.

    1. Perchance, would PM Dumbkopf maybe understand how Albertans are hurting now? Or are Jerry Dias blathering more important for fewer workers?

Maybe Jerry should have spent more time on the homefront, instead of having daily $100 lunches with Chrystia in Washington for months on end.

Paying close attention to this, as we will see if some animals are more equal than other animals!

    2. G.M. couldn’t give the Impala away. It is a fabulous automobile and serious collectors should buy one and put it away as it will be very valuable in the future.

  9. Oshawa GM:
Having a hard time finding my empathy. Could it be the smug Unifor that just days ago was part of True Dough’s media bribe? Maybe when the Canadian pulp/paper and lumber industries were raped and left dead in 2008/9, and no one cared, neither politicians or the public? Some of us have been forced to restart our lives 3, 4 times.
    The Grey Cup:
Lost interest when the players couldn’t get their footing. The CFL’s spectacle game should be one of great plays, not slippery mistakes.

  10. Back in the day, our “national” broadcaster skipped over broad swathes of western Canada with its TV coverage. So my father joined with an equally enthusiastic fan to properly record the Grey Cup in our home town. Dad took a sheet of drawing paper and drew out the 10-yard lines. He and his friend would plot the game as they received it by radio using dots and dashes to show passes and runs. One particularly memorable game, the West was losing so they swapped in drinks. The West won!! My father’s Christmas gift to his bud was a clean (he was a draftsman by trade) version of the game, along with the label soaked off the bottle and stuck on the side of the grid with an arrow pointing to the point of substitution.

Would love to know where that gift ended up. It truly belongs in the CFL Hall of Fame, if only to remind everyone of how so many Canadians were able to tune into the game before CBC figured out that being “coast-to-coast” meant one should not essentially skip from Toronto to Vancouver with limited (and often weird) coverage over most of Canada.

  11. The closing of the G.M. plant in Oshawa is only the beginning. 15 years of liberals destroying this province with record high hydro rates, outrageous regulations, that coupled with P.M. Butts planned carbon tax will see a mass exodus of manufacturing from this province. The sad part is the sheep who vote liberal will continue to support them even as their children do without. Liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.
