20 Replies to “The Apology Democrats Will Never Give”

  1. Jordan Peterson certainly has a remarkable imagination, as nothing like this has ever been considered nor will ever be considered by any of the present supporters of the Democrat party or their leadership.

It will provoke uncontrollable laughter in any Democrat who reads it. This is exactly what they hope people will think of the Democrat party – that they are earnestly trying, and that all the corruption and violence are just inadvertent mistakes, not part of their master plan to seize power, abolish liberty, confiscate property, and establish authoritarian rule by them in perpetuity.

      1. Thanks, David for the Gordon Sinclair reference. I grew up in Toronto and listened daily to Gordon Sinclair’s editorials on CFRB. Sadly, there are far too few voices like his today. And with JT’s $595 million bribe to the print media just announced, there will be fewer still. I fear for our future.

        1. We have had strong suspicions that the MSM in Canada were a branch of the Liberal Party of Canada for a number of decades. Now we know it.

      2. I’m only in my forties but surely I can’t be the only one who remembers Gordon Sinclair on Front Page Challenge ?

Betty Kennedy, Pierre Berton. I remember when they had Stompin’ Tom on.

And some shit eating, grinning little turdlet called Dr. something or other Suzuki ….

    1. Any pretense the Democratic Party had left pretending that they are trying to preserve any founding democratic liberal institutions disappeared during Obama’s regime when the justice, security and financial branches of government were essentially made a part of the Democratic Party. Think DOJ, FBI, CIA, and IRS taking direct instructions from Obasma’s to go after conservatives.

  2. It is also an apology you will never hear from the GOP. Or the CPoC. The parties that have stood by, and not raised a finger to stop it, or said a word against it, or done anything to actually advance or protect freedom in all the decades socialists have been attacking it.

And they are still silent, and complicit, and there is no sign they will ever actually take up arms. The conservatives of today are essentially draft dodgers from an existential war. All of them.

Like Germans who were against Hitler, standing silent was never the correct choice.

I was not alive when Goldwater was running for president. But looking back, it seems that he faced as much back pressure and non-stop personal attacks from socialists as Trump is today. US would probably be a very different place if they had actually picked him.

    1. “The parties that have stood by, and not raised a finger to stop it, or said a word against it, or done anything to actually advance or protect freedom in all the decades socialists have been attacking it.”

Amen to that, Kevin. The ooze we are mired in as much a creation of spineless Conservative sheep as Liberal weasels.

For a very recent example, the best Scheer the Steer could muster yesterday was to describe turdo’s ongoing plans to make life miserable for law-abiding gunowners as “lazy”. There are a hundred other descriptors he could have/should have used, ranging from dishonest, oppressive, useless, all the way through to totalitarian, but this Great Grinning Turd chose “lazy”.

      1. A lifetime ban on criminals holding guns? That’s truly lazy thinking.

Send the thugs back to the Third World cesspools they came from—after relieving them of their Canadian passports and their cobblers—and let actual Canadians keep their guns.

      2. Scheer is an idiot. Convicted criminals will be thwarted by not being able to get an RPAL or PAL… Jesus wept he’s as dumb as Justupid.

  3. Well, Goldwater actually suggested that it was not beneficial for the US to remain in the UN after the admittance of communist China…

You know what? Not picking Goldwater might actually have been the official, or the beginning of the, end of the US, once the long historical view is taken.

  4. The world has changed. At one time Germans voted in a tyrant. Not all Germans were nazis but Mr Hitler was democratically elected.

Look what has happened in Europe since WW11. There isn’t a conservative in sight. Thatcher was probably the last one.

In the US the south used to be solidly Democrat. They flipped and became Republican while CA went the other way.

All of us on this site went through a different school system than our parents. Our children and grandchildren face a different one from ours.

Religion in the west as a form of philosophy held sway but increasingly became irrelevant. Witness what took place in quebek after Duplessis and Cardinal Leger. The Catholic church has about as much influence as the Salvation Army – maybe less?

The point is our philosophy evolved and continues to change. Our politics reflect our philosophy. Politics follows philosophy. It’s not our politics that is wrong it’s our philosophy. We don’t need to change the Poli Sci department we need to change the Philosophy faculity.

  5. The last honorable Democrat was Gary Hart, he got his Johnson caught where it didn’t belong and HE RESIGNED.. Since that time nothing but Lying bastards have floated to the top of the Democrat swill…..Clinton, Gore, Heinz boy toy & Obama…It doesn’t bode well for a peaceful process… Prepare for all out civil war.. the activist 15% group must be eliminated…

    JMHO

  6. I think part 2 of that message could easily pertain to Canadian Liberals. They too have lost their way. I am sometimes surprised that more of the grassroots Liberals and some of the backbenchers have not revolted with Trudeau at the helm. I think they are kept in the dark.

    1. Politics is about power. That is why liberals are flexible. They sense a change in the electorate and they jump out in front of it. The backbench will never revolt. They are along for the ride.

As I stated above we get the politics we deserve. All this left right stuff is a distraction for the masses. Our personal philosophy dictates how we think and the choices we make. Politics follows that.

Jordan Peterson should tend to his knittin’. He’s wasting his time delving into the politics of the Democrats or Republicans for that matter. Nothing will change until we change our thinking. Enjoy the decline.

  7. Yah.
Never will we hear;”Sorry about the stealing, corruption and stupidity”.
None will run for office campaigning to “Stop the stealing”, they can’t .
When politics is all about living large at other peoples expense.

Imagine our current “leaders” trying to get a real job.
