  1. When the government is the problem, how long do you give it before people just start ignoring government?

    When do you think this California Fire Service thing is simply ignored, and people get together to just do their own controlled burns?

  4. Proving that the media isn’t the “news” media … but is the “attack” media. That’s all. Simply an “attack” org. FAKING the news for the purpose of “attacking” the opposition. Or call it the “by any means necessary” media. “Marxism by any means media”.

    This is NOT what the First Amendment sought to protect. I missed the part where the First Amendment guaranteed the dissemination of FAKE News. Yes, this “attack” media is the enemy of the people. The enemy of TRUTH.

A co-worker of mine is an ardent viewer of the CBC and CNN and never failed to provide daily updates of Trump’s alleged misadventures, the vast majority of which were embellished, contrived and just plain phony. I finally pointed out that CNN was not a news source but rather a clown show existing only to provide entertainment, not news and that it was hard to believe that anyone actually relied on them for information. The daily bouts of TDS tapered off drastically and finally they were gone. This is the same co-worker who, after the election of Trudeau, pontificated how the new prime minister was well-educated and had accomplished a great deal in his lifetime. There was only one source where he could have come up with this utter bullshit. I immediately set him straight on the facts about Trudeau’s lack of commitment to education, dismal employment record and absence of any accomplishments. I also pointed out that Stephen Harper’s biggest failure was not defunding the CBC. The Trudeau worship ended abruptly. Funny how facts, when presented, get in the way of a good fantasy.

  7. Biff: I was in Ontario 4 times this year. I encountered people each time that thought and talked like your co-worker.
    It’s a small sample size but probably indicative of what to expect in next years election.

  8. Those three headlines Pefectly show anyone with half a brain, that it simply does not matter what Trump Does. If he does ANYTHING, they and the rest of the “news” Filth aka MSM, will find a way to disparge it even though They themselves called for said action to happen.

    I’m one who has cut the cord – 3 Years and running now and simply DO NOT MISS regular TV Programming Whatsoever. I can Stream HNIC Sat nights – Netflix provides a fair amount of programming and for the rest I use KODI. I also don’t miss paying ~$130/mo for duplicate Channels spewing CRAP either.

    As Noted, HARPER SCREWED up colossally by not Fully Defunding the CBC…but then who’s to say folks like Soros or Tom Steyer among others wouldn’t step in & outright buy it..?? No Public money does not necessarily mean it turns Conservative or Dies…

  10. I took cnn off my channel navigator very quickly. and all those redundant duplicate channels.
    funny how the carriers do that, tout ‘HUGE SELECTION’ when so many of them are the
    same
    bloody
    thing.
    just a different city.
    hmmmm. I just realized ‘same bloody thing’ has a double meaning in this context. heh-heh !!!
