I like the phrase “MAD Coalition” (media-academic-Democratic coalition). I hope it sticks, and becomes part of the conservative lexicon. The phrase says a lot about the hard times we live in.
David, the idea came to me a few weeks ago and I felt this was the perfect time to introduce it. I fully agree with Mark Matis below that a longer acronym would probably be more accurate but “MAD” is short, effective and points out a terrible cabal that absolutely does exist in America today.
The greatest achievement by POTUS Trump is the exposure of leftist interest groups for how they manipulate society. Yes, academia, media and non-elected government operatives are complicit. The scale and level of aggressiveness being used should scare every citizen. Public discourse is being lowered to the equivalency of the tabloid press. In the USA this is being led by the Democrats but here in Canada it is no less by the Liebels and Dippers. Unfortunately in Canada this effort has succeeded for years and is well established.
Lindsay Graham is a beacon for those who believe in accountability and due process. I can only hope that he will be successful in an investigation into the Kavanaugh appointment. With holding evidence from the Senate committee has to carry a penalty. ‘Anything goes’ in politics cannot be the new standard. If it does then I can see nothing less than a violent future.
