    Ford came across as mousy, robotic, stiff and stuck on her script. The GOP female questioner was terrible, appearing at times to sympathize with Ford.

    Kav was magnetic, defiant and brutally honest. He must have taken his TRUMP vitamins. And the Dems are an ugly, demented, immoral group of miscreants than one can imagine. This was clearly a hatchet job cooked up by the Dementos.

    1. DanBC – Kavanaugh has the Dems pegged, with their gentle treatment of his accuser and nasty, grotesque attempt to browbeat him while trying to manipulate the Senate proceedings to run past the election date. Lindsey Graham let them have it with both barrels; he was on fire! Kavanaugh is made of sterling stuff; I felt bad for him, but he triumphed.

    2. Many viewers said the GOP Female Prosecutor didn’t do a good job.
      In less than an hour she found 3-4 holes in Fords testimony.
      1- “He held his hand over your mouth to keep you from screaming?” Yes.
      What difference- The music had been turned up so loud no one could have heard her?
      The two boys were laughing hysterically.
      2- She heard them bumping the stairs while she hid in a locked bathroom?
      Then she heard a loud conversation? Then she didn’t hear a loud conversation.
      3- How did she get home? Walk, Bus Ride, Girlfriend, Boy Friend? She didn’t tell anyone why she left the party after she had been assaulted?
      4- None of the witnesses she named were there, even PJ who jumped on the bed and saved her life?
      5- She only had one beer? Her yearbook shows her with two beers in her hands. Kav had to defend himself from being a sloppy drunk.
      6-She was a sweet girl that never got drunk or blacked out? etc. etc. etc.

      I could give you more, but there are so many confusing holes in her story the jury would not even leave the room, even the worst ambulance chasing lawyer from America or Canada would have advised her not to give this deposition.

    3. How you feel about the witnesses’ performance depends on your point of view. Ford came across as somewhat believable.

      But I don’t believe her simply because she has not provided any corroboration.

      Because I consider him the victim, I thought Judge Kavanagh was sincere and rightly outraged and nailed Feinstein but good.

      Lindsay Graham stepped up and as Newt Gingrich opined, coalesced an entire career into a few minutes tearing the DeMarxists a new one and showing sympathy for a man who has been vilified without cause.

      Senator Graham’s tour de force swung recalcitrant GOP senators with their wafflers meekly asking for – another – week delay.

      I say grant it to them, for three main reasons:

      1. All the BS about “FBI investigations” will be put to rest. Of course they won’t find anything, because there’s nothing to find.

      2. Though the DeMarxists will surely find more “accusers,” they can be referred to the “investigators” without comment.

      3. Maybe, just maybe some of these accusers will get outed for the lunatics they are. Dr Ford probably “believes” in what happened, but a real questioner, not the doofus the GOP Senators hired, can get into her “memories” and even motivations. Most of all, liars, including Kavanagh if that turns out to be so, but also that lunatic Swetnick for instance, can be dealt with, publicly shamed and subjected to civil and criminal sanction.

    1. This whole spectacle reminds me of what happened to Jian Ghomeshi over 2 years ago. I am NOT a big fan of Ghomeshi, but what those awful women did to him was so wrong. Yes he was acquitted/vindicated, but after spending a small fortune on a top notch lawyer (thankfully, a good woman) and now he has NO career to speak of.
      If Kavanaugh is not confirmed to the Supreme Court, I think he should sue Dr. Ford for defamation of character as well as the 2 other women. In an actual court of law, evidence matters.

  3. Sen. Grassley displayed the spine of a Jellyfish, and the entire GOP looked absolutely pathetic and weaselly. And then, to our astonishment, at the end of the day, the toughest Republican turns out to be traitor John (thank God he’s gone) McCain’s pet, Lindsey (I love democrats) Graham? It’s been a weird day and not one that anyone can take satisfaction from. The democrats look demented. The GOP looks feeble, and everyone involved needs to take a shower.

    If this is the level of civility with public perception trials, we’re all doomed. The nonsense being spouted today is something almost everyone over 40 went through. Handsy men? Easy women? Alcohol fueled mistakes? The statute of limitations was instituted for a reason. If we don’t stop this, it’s going to get really, really ugly.

    If Kavanaugh is not installed on the SCOTUS, the left will do it again, and again. Install Brett and tell the left to seek counseling for their megalomania.

    Flake, Collins, Manchin and Murkowski ducked in a room together after the hearing for a few minutes.

    Now, stories are leaking that Collins, Manchin, Murkowski and Donnelly intend to vote Yes on Kavanaugh.

    The fix is in. Those 4 Senators publicly leak their Yes vote, then Flake votes No in committee and keeps the Kavanaugh nomination from advancing . Those 4 Senators get to say “we would have voted Yes, but he never got to the floor”.

    1. Except I understand that a positive vote from the Committee is NOT absolutely necessary to bring a confirmation vote to the full Senate. It’s hard to keep all the archaic “rules” straight.

    2. The day’s testimony by Ford and Kavanaugh was riveting TV.

      The doxing has begun… breaking news at 11: 00 Eastern time by FOX’S Ed Henry, the Dems who vote for Kavanaugh will be picketed at home. Their addresses have allegedly been published.

    3. It did pass to the Senate floor, with Flake acquiescing, but meekly requesting a week delay for another “investigation.”

  5. I find Ford’s memory of an alleged event 36 years later nothing short of remarkable. I wonder if she has that same wondrous talent when applied to all other events in her life. Somehow I doubt it.

    Judge Kav. was … “believably” and “appropriately” emotional, unlike Dr. Hazy Ford who alternated between awkward laughing and misplaced weeping. And her little girl voice was rehearsed and stilted … and simply grating on my nerves. Judge Kav. APPROPRIATELY called out the despicable Dem’s for their assassination of his character and reputation. He was believable … She was not.

    I cannot think of a more qualified candidate for the SCOTUS. CONFIRM HIM NOW!!!

    I missed Ford’s opening statement but her testimony was well-rehearsed, with her playing the part of the still-traumatized woman. The special prosecutor brought in by the Republicans to avoid the optics of old white men plying a poor “survivor” with ever more traumatizing questions backfired IMO ’cause her questions were irrelevant, for the most part.

    And can “progressives” PLEASE stop calling alleged sexual assault/rape victims “survivors”? The original meaning of the word = “… a person remaining alive after an event in which others have died” (Oxford Dictionary) but it now extends to people who face & deal with difficulties in their lives. So who isn’t a “survivor”?

    Kavanaugh’s opening statement was powerful but IMO his answers to Democrats’ questions were evasive & ineffective. For instance, when the Dems insisted he should ask the WH for the FBI to come in to do an investigation, he should have answered that the FBI had already investigated him … SIX times. Instead, he weakly answered that he would comply with whatever the Judiciary Committee decides. Also, too much information, IMO. Was it necessary to repeat, as he revealed in a FOX NEWS interview, that he was not sexually active in his teens and well past those years?

    1. Yes it was necessary, to reinforce the point to the deaf, fascist Dementos.

      And if he answered the FBI question as you suggest, then the retort is “well one more won’t hurt then will it?”. Kav had strategic advice too, and he took the right answer to that, it’s up to the committee. Let’s not forget, he had open disdain for a handful of Dementos, Hirono, Spartacus, Durban, and slimeball Blumenthal, who at the end of his session, had to throw in an Anita Hill comment! Total scumbag.
      Kav was prepared too, and gave the Dementos nothing.

    2. Actually Kavanaugh testified that he demanded and investigation by the FBI or any other investigatory body as soon as he heard the slanderous lies of the crazy democratic operative, Ford. Kavanaugh was upset that he had to wait a full ten days before todays opportunity to speak out against the vicious lies from Ford. Democrats are truly evil.

    And Kavanaugh demonstrates what free thinking people long for – the readiness to fight for the values of justice and freedom- the kind of thing that president trump demonstrated and got him elected. The willingness to fight and die for liberty and freedom – The willingness that the founding fathers had.

  14. I’m a little more stupid for doing so, but I tuned into CTV’s Powerplay with the too full of himself, Don Martin. I was curious as to the spin they might put on today’s coverage. They did not disappoint.

    First up, Don and Richard Madden puzzled over why the GOP lawyer would ask questions of Ms. Ford regarding who was paying her legal, travel and security expenses and who paid for her polygraph. It was just beyond them. It never crosses their mind that Ms. Ford is being used or that there might be a pernicious political motive behind it all.

    Don follows this with an interview with Julie Lalonde, a self-described “women’s rights advocate and public educator”. She described Ms. Ford’s performance as “incredible”. When questioned about the piece-meal memory of Ms. Ford, well apparently that’s a strong indicator of authenticity, of “real memory”. At the same time, Mr. Kavanaugh’s daily diary entries going back two years BEFORE the alleged incident, are evidence of a made up, practiced story according the women’s rights expert. Never mind that they are there in genuine paper and ink in all their imperfection and idiosyncrasies of a young man’s life. Evidence. Real evidence.

    Nah, she’d say. He probably spent a couple of weekends writing the thing just to give himself cover.

    As for the GOP using a female interrogator, they had no choice. Damned if they did, damned if they didn’t. How many references were made today about 12 white men – men who would have been terrified of having to ask questions of this traumatized, PSTD suffering, insecure and badly damaged snowflake, knowing they would be pilloried no matter what.

    I think the female lawyer, was either directed to go easy for the above reason of political timidity or because she too is afraid of that vast army of PC/feminist radicals for whom nothing but political, social and personal drawing and quartering will suffice.

Kavanaugh being accused of something he didn’t do over 30 years ago, no time limit, no presumption of innocence because, not Trudork.

  20. Heh, the Ford chick was a whack job. She could easily be found not competent to stand trial. Laughing seems to be at issue with her and I’ll bet if laughed at she may go full Carrie. I suspect she is medicated. I also think she is deeply inwardly angry.
    Interesting times, the 80’s. Very tough on some kids. I got out in ’84 about 11 miles from Ford’s school and an additional 11 from Kavanaugh’s. A few observations:
    1. You didn’t get out of public school on the west side of D.C. and not know the word exculpatory, let alone the high dollar prep schools.
    2. The money partied in houses where there was a lot more types of stuff available and never paid a dime. Less money (ta-da!) rolled into D.C., paid in full and went home with even less money. We were the baddies I guess because we didn’t have the drugs and the empty posh houses to semi- publicly screw around in.
    3. Girls who had reputations wanted them.
    4. The Ford chick doesn’t fit in. She had to be a clinger or she wouldn’t have been out at all.

    We didn’t do stupid. Valley girls were just that (basically a foreign concept), and our cheer leaders didn’t smile very much out of fear for their reputations. I can’t think of a girl I knew who I would consider stupid. Emo was born down at Posers and Goth was a thing that struck the girls who knew ennui. I can’t walk Ford back into any type or group I know of or can imagine. In the early 80’s, that was a problem. Ford probably got her sense of identity from her school, which is pathetic, and didn’t go very far in any social circle. She’s a reject; plain and simple. That’s where the anger comes from. Laughed at, probably, smothered, most definitely, but not by Kavanaugh’s hand. No this is a construct of a mind that does dot wish to endure the devastation of introspection. A mind that has bandaged itself through the study of experimental psychology.

When in fact there was nothing, or some minor incident, that may have involved just about any one. Also, there may have been an incident that involved some one else, and Ford has hijacked it and claimed it as her own. I’v seen both of these types of cases play out in real life, with people I know. This is all a demoKKKrap side show, and it would be nice if they were all censored.
      I think Farstain should be impeached, and Ford should be institutionalized, she needs help, big time~!!!

    In a court of law, this accusation would have gone down in flames after 10 seconds of deliberation by the jury. If it got that far. Graham, a prosecutor said you could not get an arrest or search warrant based on her testimony. She has zero collaboration of her assertion, and all her named witnesses refuted her claim of their even having attended the party in question. Furthermore, the claims of the two men who came forward and said they were the perpetrators were never even considered by the committee.

    As for the vote, we will soon see who is morally blind, or evil enough to legitimize this despicable sham and vote with the Democrats, who put the country, Brett Kavanaugh, and Professor Ford through hell, without a second thought. They are the criminals who should be punished in this.

    She escaped being raped and possibly being murdered, went downstairs and slipped out of the house without talking to or warning her friend, who was now left as the only remaining female in a house with rapist/murderers!

  25. You gotta love the Democrats – dwelling on fart jokes in Kavanaugh’s yearbook. Why wasn’t Ford’s yearbook mentioned and its references to sex with random strangers (but not by Ford). Ford doesn’t know when the incident took place (year?), where it took place, how she got there, or how she got home. And every other person she named as witnesses said there was never such a party. I suspect she might simply be bat shit crazy – she first mentioned the incident while having her head shrunk. I suspect she fully believes every untruth she is telling.

      1. I am not an Lawyer, nor do I respect that practice when they engage in controlled testimony ….The testimony of Ford had, by my count 7 inconsistencies’…..She appeared to have been under a recent & continuing Mental Health episode……

        She avoided all questions that could have been proven false by other Witnesses…. She did not remember when she arrived at the party, or who was present before she arrived, or after she arrived. Her memory was limited only to a very narrow stairway (like servant Quarters) and then been Pushed into a bedroom ( She stated in her opening Statement that she did not see who pushed her & then said it was Brett)

        She said she did not recall if she named Brett in her Session with the Mental Health Therapist, BUT her Husband had told her she had named him (even though the medical records did not support that fact)

        The People around her (or voices in her mind) The beach Friends were advising her… Odd… none of them where provided for background verification…. Sen Feinstein blamed these friends for leaking her letter when she was accused… She did not report her concerns to ONE Republican or WH official….

        Her Lawyers lied to her & the Democrats continue to lie… If the FBI had/or do investigate her.. She MAY be found to suffer mentally & have been feed a false memory by friends…I hope she is not subject to further abuse… Someone will insist that civil lawsuits be opened to all those involved….She could sue her Lawyers & G Soros

  30. Maybe something did happen almost 40 years ago that left Ms Ford a case of arrested development. The real crime is what the Dem hucksters and shysters did to her in the last couple of weeks. I don’t think they believed the vague obfuscations either or they would have initiated an FBI investigation in July. In any case, she made the choice to ally herself with them and became their tool. Maybe she’ll realize it, or NOT.
