When The FBI Does It, That Means That It’s Not Illegal

If this is an orchestrated hit job, it’s the best evidence yet that Rosenstein’s a white hat.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein proposed secretly recording conversations in the Oval Office with President Trump last year and discussed the possibility of Cabinet officials invoking the 25th Amendment to remove the president, according to a New York Times report.

The bombshell story sparked a political firestorm Friday afternoon, prompting an immediate denial from the Justice Department and sparking calls from conservative circles for Trump to fire his No. 2 law enforcement official.

The allegations are said to be laid out in contemporaneous memos written by then-acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who was fired by the Justice Department earlier this year amid an internal leak probe.

Or, I’m wrong.

    1. Sarcasm is not credible in this context. Take him at his word and fire him. It is time (past time) for a thorough house cleaning.

  1. This is bizarre on several levels. First I’m stunned that this article appeared in the New York Times, as they are famous for their anti-trump bias and fake news. Second I hate anonymous sources. An article based on an anonymous source should never be believed. Just substitute ‘made up’ for anonymous source and then these stories make perfect sense. Regardless Rosenstein needs to go.

  2. I think they want Trump to fire Rosie so Mueller can go for obstruction..
    They just don’t quit trying.
    Rotten Baskets!!!!!!

  3. FWIW. If you are a follower of Q on 4chan, 8chan or Twitter you would of seen Q post 2 days ago
“Declas of FISA will initiate the resignation/recusal and/or removal of Rod Rosenstein”
    “Goodbye Mr. Rosenstein”
“Priorities: SCOTUS Confirmation first, Then Rosenstein Impeachment”

The article is from the NYT and could be misinformation designed to goad Pres. Trump into firing Rosenstein.

      1. Due cause will be Rosenstein refusing to release the FISA docs and likely once the docs are released that Rosenstein himself is guilty of Obstruction of Justice. The Inspector General is involved now.
        The Articles of Impeachment
        1. Some of this article is true and Rosenstein is part of the deep swamp. Maybe one of the engineers. Comey, Clapper, Lynch (talking?), McCabe (LEAKER/ talking)
        2. Rosenstein signs off one or more of the FISA docs to allow further spying on Trump.
        3. Rosenstein recommends to Pres Trump the firing of James Comey.
        4. Rosenstein activates Mueller as special investigator with an UNLIMITED AGENDA to investigate Trump campaign/admin beyond Russian collusion. And for firing Comey

Q asks on Twitter and 8chan “Do you want to play a game of Chess??”

        1. The GOP bleeds the Democrats with scandals of their own making, right into the midterms, then:

Fire them all, especially the political operatives posing as civil servants, whom Obama usurped from the ranks.

For now, the Dems don’t care if they’re wrong or who’s life they destroy because they face no consequences from the voter or justice. Until that changes the DeMarxist Alynskyites will hold sway in this once proud party.

Power to the party. Canada is right behind these political brigands, though our left was graceful in the infinite compared to the dastardly deeders in Dem land, who have lose any sense of pride in themselves or their nation.

      1. So says the one with a rhetorical cage around their head.

Anybody who thinks this and the Kavanagh case are anything but slimy partisan politics needs help.

      2. As if I give a f*ck what you think about me. Lol.
Personally, I dont think you desrve to smell my shit.
So I think were even now trading stoopid barbs

  4. The reported “statement” in a (secret) meeting was supposedly said sarcastically. What sort of conversation was going on between the (secret) meeters that this statement could be made, even sarcastically? Why was the (secret) meeting reported by the NYT and why does everyone believe it? It is the NYT after all, not a dispassionate player at best. Rather it is Pravda. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=11114105

  5. If Rosenstein was “merely” being sarcastic by verbally talking about a plan to remove a duly elected president whom he directly works for I’d say it smells like a trial balloon. Everything can be a joke…until it’s not. Any boss becoming aware of such a “joke” being shared with their most trusted employees in my mind is fully justified in firing the source. Such a statement given in whatever manner by a person working closely with the President and senior staff is an act of subversion. After the mid-terms Rosenstein and his ineffectual boss Sessions will be gone.

  6. Rosenstein spoke in the standard bureaucratic language. He was signalling to the FBI that he was prepared to wear a wire if the FBI instructed him to. That way, Rosenstein could promote the initiative while maintaining cover that it wasn’t his decision.

At no time did Rosentein need to make this “sarcastic” remark. This statement clearly shows he is on the Deep State team. I suspect this story broke because the Deep State want Rosenstein to “do something”. In a bureaucratic war, Rosenstein was hoisted on his own petard by his Deep State teammates.

He should be “too smart/savvy” to make this type of sarcastic remark.

  7. The whole lot should be charged with criminal Conspiracy & Racketeering… Stop the stupid BS game with Indictments all around… They get to defend themselves in front of a Jury……The cost of defense is a real determent & the loss of all benefits = justice… They can all write a book and cash in on the sleaze

Same with all the SLUT lawyers that an honest sexual complainant NEEDS… How many Votes did Hillary lose because of the Anita Hill slut display…. Trump is saying what everyone wishes they could say without biting their tongue PC…. The Political theater will playout when future honest females who where sexually abused are not taken seriously…. A women does not need a slut lawyer to file a sexual assault complaint with police…( nothing to fear)

  8. Pretty simple, really. A lot of people are royally screwed if the redactions are removed from the FISA App. and tossed around in public. The, still, corrupt DOJ would be obligated to pursue indictments. McCabe would be one of the big losers (who you will recall making threats as he was removed from his position). Last week media articles appeared suggesting that Rosenstein was flirting with the idea of removing, at least, some of the redactions. This article in the NYT’s is McCabe’s warning. This “revelation” provided to the NYT’s by McCabe coincided with two foreign governments calling Trump two days ago and (probably) begging that he drop his Directive to remove the redactions for the public (UK and Australia for those keeping score at home). Ask yourself, first, how foreign governments would actually know what is in the “super secret, totally secure” FISA App. ;D

Look, there is sufficient evidence in public circulation to indict a number of people. However, the DOJ remains in the hands of the Deep State (not as firmly as before, but they still control the gate). Only a US Attorney can indict. The committees can make all the recommendations and referrals to indict that they want. But, the DOJ decides. At the present they are thumbing their noses at you and at the President. McCabe’s little blurb was to keep Rosenstein in line.

By the way…I’m also here to gloat. The un-redacted FISA app will not be released to the public. The President does not possess the power of the Executive Branch at the present. The DOJ does. The Courts do. Anything he does to combat this will be met with massive amounts of litigation. This litigation would ultimately end up in the Supreme Court. Now you know why the Dems are throwing in the kitchen sink to keep Kavanaugh out of it.

    1. Sure Unyung, they were best buddies before. Maybe somebody recommended him. Still looking for your head cage key?

      1. No, he was hired by Trump. This is Trump’s ‘shallow state’ and he can’t even get loyalty from that. Hilarious.

  9. The DeMarxists have already moved on, now bleating about “investigating” and “impeaching” SC Justice Kavanagh.

They probably know their star witness won’t testify.

I don’t blame her at all; she must know now she is being used as a pawn, and her welfare is the last thing on her leftie lawyer’s mind, including women’s rights in general, given her defense of Bubba’s victims.

I think she was played from day one. I no longer believe her version of events, but don’t dismiss she believes it. Memories are fleeting things. Feinstein et al must have known this would go nowhere so should be ashamed for what they put Dr. Ford through, but she also put it out there and can’t just take it back like her friend had to.

Her lawyer, the one who wants to trample on due process because he’s “probably guilty,” will announce she’s just too stressed out with the arbitrary demands she make an appointment with the Senate Committee and permit rebuttal of her testimony by the guilty bastard. Another telling sign of their defeat is referring to her as a “survivor.”

Why is she a proved survivor? Well because he’s probably guilty.

Total gong show all around, a smoke screen to obscure shady state corruption at the highest levels of Demdum.

Unless the voters punish them, it can only get worse.
