Looks like “divide and conquor” worked again.
Absolutely.
l don’t always agree with Sundance, but on Trump and trade he has been one of a very small number of people who understands what’s really happening here, and what Trump has been working toward with trade since he took office. https://theconservativetreehouse.com
Strongly agree. The thesis he has presented re the Trump trade team and NAFTA has unfolded exactly as he described.
Does anyone else find it amusing that MY President found it easier to deal with the President of a shithole country, than with a childlike PM and his Lords/Ladies of the Flies in Canada? Ohhhhhhh Canada … what a JOKE you’ve become.
Hint: US Stock Market spikes up 250 points to new all time highs. Thanks Obama/sarc.
Andrew and Me will be along in a min to tell us all how bad this is…and what a failure Trump is
….wait for it
Kenji;
It appears our Gender Fluid Shiny Pony has screwed the pooch on this one. Mexico has been in the ascendancy for a while in North America and Trudeau has accelerated Canada’s decline. Which kind of makes sense to him and his band of merry western civilization hayters. Trump however has been doing what a leader should do: Make his own country as great as possible!
Trump’s has changed the US’s trade with the World for a long time — it will outlive his Presidency. We in Canada have to get with the program or we’ll be left even further behind.
Trade, The SCOTUS … and hopefully … The EPA reforms will last long past Trump’s two-terms as POTUS.
Pretty sad that President Trump is doing more for Canadian Consumers than any of our current leaders. Max is trying but he is a failed messenger.
Aren’t you smug…
Don’t believe everything you see about the Nintendo Dow Market Game…

you linked to an hour long video? Nobody will watch that.
As IF … I am unaware of the stock markets ups, downs, and bubbles. Yeah, yeah, the perpetual BEARS are always predicting hibernation. Yawwwwwn … they must be getting sleepy. Nap time with Justin.
We are certainly WAAAAAY back.
Trump is a nationalist and AMLO is a nationalist. They’re quite capable of working out a deal that benefits Mexicans and Americans. Trudeau and his entourage are globalists and don’t care about the interests of Canadians.
As I predicted, Trump has negotiated a completely new deal, and will now scrap NAFTA completely. Canada will be forced to accept whatever the US offers us with little ability to negotiate, as the US has a deal with Mexico already worked out.
Canada will continue to delay until after the US midterms hoping the Dementocrats retake Congress.
Democrats retaking congress? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
One wouldn’t know that, from the mediots on CTV and BNN. One of their so-called experts is Mary Scott Greenwood, a Demo Clinton hack (never disclosed of course), hyperventilating that “this is good! The nafta talks will now commence with Canada” advancing a meme which is dishonest and ignorant of the POTUS and direction of his negotiators.
BNN is useless, save for the ticker n stock prices. Just more Liberal propaganda, too bad, it had promise years ago.
You’re right Dan… the Liberal Party Media is playing this up like its a good thing for Trudopia. Unfortunately the Medias deliberate dishonesty will fool enough Trudopians into believing the PMO’s mendacious spin. Oh well, no one ever said Trudopians were smart. I wonder what the Globalists that run this shithole country will order Butts and Freeland to do now. Oh, and way to go President Trump, a man that cares for his fellow Americans, good for you. Perhaps the auto industry can now be moved to Mexico. Juthtin the Groper won’t be puthed awound… ha, ha ha.
Well, they will have to deliver and soon if they hope to continue getting support.
Guess we showed them thar “mericuns.” A 20% Trump tariff, hah, make it 30. We’re tough, look at the taxes we pay.
A blessing in disguise if we had a real PM who could negotiate an FTA with no tariffs and tearing down non-tariff state stuff.
Obviating Mexican corruption is a good thing.
But we don’t so are therefore in trouble as Trudeau pivots to protecting dairy farmers while our other industries take a beatdown.
Is this the end of $3.99 butter? The nation is at stake people, we must decide to end all coal exports, I mean introduce a national carbon tax. Will our PM take a page from his father’s book with a “third option” part deux, of turning away from the US towards Europe. Look how well it worked with dad? Maybe Japan too, next on Mr Trump’s protectionist crosshairs.
No wait, that’s right, we already bought the Leopard tanks from Germany. Perhaps they have excess wind turbines to sell.
Rant over. I am currently disgusted with the Canadian body politic. We.are.so.screwed.
Oh, you ain’t even begun to get the REAL screwing yet, Binky!
BOHICA!!!
“We, are. so. screwed.” Yep! Meanwhile Juthtin and Buttbrain, “you wanna go play karate in the garage”? Yep! Yeah, we’re screwed alright… as planned.
Paging Chrystia Freeland – you failed to understand the relationship so Canada is now cut out – congratulations and please, feel free to seek other employment because you just cost us a lot of jobs.
They still don’t understand–or are lying about it: this isn’t a renegotiated NAFTA. That died when Team Freeland was sent packing. Canada’s signature isn’t required for anything at this point.
they’re lying.
Take it or leave it. That will likely be the “negotiation” position of Trump. Count on the children in charge here in Canada to fail spectacularly in their response.
Would have liked to be in the room to see the reaction on the face of the Sockmonkey and Butts when Trump said he would be calling soon.
I can imagine the thoughts in their heads at that moment is one of loss for words and complete terror.
Lets go ahead one week and predict that there will be a new portfolio created for “this complex and difficult file”.
Any guesses on who gets named Freelands new chaperone?
But – but – but – what about transgender rights? Turdeau wants guys in dresses building cars. Maybe illegal immigrants in dresses?
All mens must wear maxi-pads (like Juthtin) or no deal.
Trudy doesn’t even need a front hole pad. In sissy solidity he just uses the pad.
This one didn’t age well :
One year ago, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was confronted with an unexpected challenge: A U.S. president more familiar to Canadians as a reality-TV star than for his public policy. A president so vastly different in his approach to politics that it was perhaps impossible to overcome.
And so began a long courtship that now seems to be an actual relationship.
It may be counterintuitive, given the state of the current free trade negotiations, but there is a clear upside for Canada to Donald Trump’s presidency: the ability to put Canada on the map in a new way.
Trudeau and his team have seen it and seized it.
The trump whisperer?
Written by Rosemary Barton, no less. Hahahahahahahaha clueless media.
Wow! That’s what passes for … analysis … at the CBC? Cognitive. dissonance. is. not. analysis.
See what happens when the media is part of the (leftist) government complex.
Like
Overheard at a bar in Ottawa.
Ottawa bureaucrat 1 :”Are they freaking out? Last thing i heard was she was told by his principal secretary to stop bawling and get on the first flight to Ottawa tout suite”.
Ottawa bureacrat 2 : “what about the guy thats supposed to be in charge?”
Ottawa bureaucrat 1:”Butts?”
Ottawa bureaucrat 2;”no Mr Sunny ways”
Ottawa bureaucrat 1 :”rumour is hes in the corner of his office in a pair of red sequined pumps clicking his heels together mumbling ‘diverthity ith our strength'”
OB2:”the ones he inherited from his dad”
OB1:”Fidel?”
OB2:”no the step dad, cripes how bad can this get?”
OB1:”plenty, need another drink?”
OB2:”yeah make mine a double…..we are so screwed”
Barton is a horrible creature, a fat dumb Goebbels paid a small fortune by an unwilling taxpayer. I’ve stepped in dog shit that had more integrity and character than Rosie the Liberal ass licker.
Reading the comments over at CBC scare the bejebus out of me. So many have no understanding of what is at stake, or with what they are dealing. Their reliance on the elf-king is too cultish to believe.
In this instance, I wish Harper were running things, but definitely not Handy Andy.
CBC News has a fairly scary lib-left constituency they preach to. Hence the comments there.
I am amazed at how many Canadians are so easily duped. They truly believe Trudeau and his band of juvenilles made no unforced errors (to use a tennis term!)
But I guess if you judge a man solely by his socks and his hair…..
“There is one difference left to iron out,” said the Mexican economy minister.
I sincerely hope that the remaining disagreement regards whether Mexico will pay for the wall upfront or in installments.
“A blessing in disguise if we had a real PM who could negotiate an FTA with no tariffs and tearing down non-tariff state stuff.”
Unfortunately, we don’t have a real PM and none waiting in the wings.
Maxime Bernier is the closest thing we have. Start getting behind him now.
Scheerdeau and all the PC meat puppets supporting him are no better than the Sock Boy himself and his sycophantic minions.
You are forgetting, I think Sche(m)er. A PM out of central casting! Tried, tested and true; a veritable Pitt the Younger. Or, he’s just the leader of the shovel brigade chosen to bury the PCs once and for all.
Canada and the U.S. ironed out the FTA, and then decided to add Mexico for some cheap labor and and to help modernize the hemisphere a bit more. Now, the U.S. ironed out the new deal with Mexico first and may add Canada for some cheap resources and to modernize our political hemisphere. We can only hope.
Because it’s 2018.
This is what happens when your country is led by a part time drama teacher who never actually had to work before becoming prime minister, who doesn’t know sh*t from shinola.
US Canada trade facts….

US Mexico trade facts….
https://ustr.gov/countries-regions/americas/mexico
Enlightening, discouraging and maddening all at the same time.
On 8% more total trade, Mexico has nearly 6x our trade surplus with the US.
But Mexico could deal with Trump and Canada’s merry band of philosopher kings couldn’t?
Scheer needs to dump the dairy farmers now. Make them put their (not our) money where their mouth is, into action.
They say they’re competitive; fine give them access to the giant US market and dump our tariff/supply management regime.
It’s the smart move, otherwise Bernier will steal your thunder.
Mr Trudeau, here’s help to fill in your spurious smatterings and willful ignorance, from one of your own, Martha Hall Findley:
“But for the North American free-trade agreement, our main negotiating challenge is this: The United States has a legitimate complaint. We continue to defend a system, at significant cost to consumers and to other parts of our economy, that is no longer defensible.”
Our made-in-Canada cartel, based on high-price fixing, production control and extremely high tariffs, is the sick cow of global agricultural trade. The wealthy and powerful dairy, poultry and egg lobby has been able to engage in behaviour that for everyone else would be illegal.”
The small number of dairy farmers left in Canada are, on average, multimillionaires. It’s not surprising that they want – and spend a lot of money lobbying hard – to keep the system that has made them rich, but which costs consumers and most other parts of our economy. What we need are some politicians with courage.”
The evidence for reform is overwhelming. With an appropriate transition plan (which the Canada West Foundation has proposed), liberalization can be a big win for Canada – ironically, for the dairy sector, too. Which means that these NAFTA negotiations offer a tremendous win-win opportunity.”
Unfortunately, we still hear politicians repeating the dairy lobby’s false and misleading talking points.”
We can’t compete with the heavily subsidized U.S. dairy producers.” Note that this contradicts the first position. But in recent years, the United States has dramatically reduced its own subsidization of dairy – and U.S. dairy is now exporting more and more around the world, leaving us behind.”
My favourite fallacy:
“Supply management ‘protects’ the family farm.” Not only is this false, the opposite is true. In Canada, the rate of consolidation has actually been higher – yes, higher – in the supply-managed dairy, poultry and egg sectors, than in most other agricultural sectors. Whereas in the 1970s, there were approximately 145,000 dairy producers, there are now barely more than 9,000.”
To support this trade abomination we are prepared to penalize the Canadian agricultural industry, plus auto and steel sectors?
https://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/rob-commentary/canadas-supply-management-system-for-dairy-is-no-longer-defensible/article36029788/
So true. You say it well.
Canada will have to RESET their Communist agenda… WTF is the end game of SJW … Even the Saudi’s realize that a Canadian Education is like a bite of the poisoned Apple.. If you go back to Trudeau’s first trip to meet Trump soon after his inauguration, Trump said that the trade issues with Canada were minor and could be easily resolved but Mexico was going to be tough. For reasons unknown, Trudeau blew what should have been a lay-up.
My feeling is that it was simple…like Trump said it was…….Trudy blew it up to make himself look more important
…and it backfired big time
Probably the one thing he IS good at: blowing things.
“If you go back to Trudeau’s first trip to meet Trump soon after his inauguration,…”
Don’t disagree with what you said, but here, let me build on that sentence for ya, KayS
“…you will recall that Trump sent turdo la doo off to play with Ivanka and the girls.”
And, you might also recall that our stunned media breathlessly hailed this as the most positive of signs….when it was quite the contrary. Trump had quickly taken the measure of our man, and dismissed him for the simpering tit that he is.
Yes, yes indeed!
And in case anyone had any doubt that the Globe and Mail is an organ of the Liberal Party here is their headline today:
“U.S., Mexico reach NAFTA breakthrough, clearing way for Canada’s return.”
Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
The Grope and Fail is in full damage control mode.
The G&M is busy liaising with Gerald Butts at the PMO as we speak.
That statement is probably close to the truth, if not indeed the truth.
I wonder when will Freeland start crying now?
Isn’t that what she does when things go badly and trade deals are about to fall apart?
Cause this continuous suspended disbelief team Sockmonkey keeps displaying when Trump does what he said would do has become predictable. They still think nothing has changed and that Trump is re-negotiating NAFTA. That train left after the G7.
I wonder if anyone in the PMO has suggested that Trump may actually dump NAFTA? Or maybe they did and the response was “what! He would never do that!”.
Not ready now, not ready tomorrow, not ready ever.
She is simply not qualified, and Liberals were stupid to have her leading the NAFTA negotiations. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Harper would have been much more astute.
Yes, Linda L
But she’s a woman doncha know and it’s 2018 so she’s as good as a negotiator as any American right?
Still missing PM Stephen Harper.
Canadians are bought into the idea that bongo and the trade team have stood up to the Americans and Trump. We’re not going to be pushed around.
Ok then, what is the alternative? The truth is they have no alternate plan. Freeland tells us we have to sign onto the deal in order to keep NAFTA. What we will be asked to sign is a deal where we have had no input. Here it is, sign on or it will remain a bi lateral deal not tri lateral.
The bone head has squandered any good will that Canada may have had with the US. The auto industry is in the crosshairs and Ontario potentially is going to pay a huge price.
Sure Supply Management was saved but at what cost? Quebek was satiated and that will translate into librano votes but it may come at a cost in Ontario. If that is how it may play out look for an early election call.
Just think of the auto sector under supply management. 270% tariff on those foreign vehicles, nice Made in Canada cars and trucks!
It should work on oil sector too. 270% tariff on those eastern oil imports.
Trudeau will NOT be ‘pushed around’ by America … by that “bully” Trump
https://youtu.be/Lcv4kmLIEtk
I believe Justin developed his negotiating skills by watching the movie “Love Actually” … wherein the British PM (Hugh Grant) told the American President (Billy Bob Thornton) … that Britain won’t be “bullied” by America anymore.
https://youtu.be/D6ouyeycWk8
Nice foreign policy. Nice negotiating skills. All learned from the drug addled mind of some pedophile Hollywooden script writer. Yes. This boy-PM has made Canada a JOKE. A bad RomCom JOKE. But his hair is nearly identical to that beautiful coif of Hugh Grant.
“I sincerely hope that the remaining disagreement regards whether Mexico will pay for the wall upfront or in installments.” A Canadian
You do realize that WE Americans now pay Mexico to enforce their “Southern” Border (have for years) because they don’t want to be overrun with SA refuges from dysfunctional Governments… We need to have our own Southern border wall to stop the Drugs.. that is DRUGS! DRUGS!… We will stop drugs from Canada TOO.. …The Coast Guard has already begun enfacement off N/E Maine..
Spread your cheeks or stay in Canada…
PS Kate … the US stock market (DOW index) is UP 1,000 POINTS! in the last week!!! To ALL TIME RECORD HIGHS!!!
… speaking of FAKE News … news that goes unreported.
Thanks Obama!! /extreme sarc.
Since the election of PDJT … the DOW has gone from (approx) 18,000 to 26,000!!! What do you think THAT has done to every American’s 401k? IRA? … or my personal SEP IRA?
Winning!!!
Winning Fiat….
Good luck with that…
“Once a U.S.–Mexico agreement is reached, Canada is expected to rejoin the negotiation. Guajardo said Sunday that once Canada returns to the table the three parties would need at least another week of negotiations.”
A least another week. Yeah, and that’s just for Justin’s trans-gendered social justice demands.
I hope Trump is as clever as I believe he is and he finds a way to punish the disingenuous and untrustworthy Liberals in these negotiations without punishing the average ‘poor working slob’ Canadian. Like someone here suggested the other day, Trump is playing 3-D chess while Trudeau and his unqualified team are still trying to figure out checkers.
I have no doubt that the CBC will be reaching new lows to protect the Trump-backstabbing Trudeau on the continued drama of this ineptly handled file. Hell. Inept? The Libs handling of these negotiations appear more like deliberate sabotage, to me. Remember, we had already accomplished months ago what Mexico just did, and Justin single-handedly tanked it with one of the most despicable diplomatic blunders I have ever witnessed.
The ball landed in our court, nobody knew how to play it, now trump will call the shots and we can eat cake.
And it will be Trump who does for the Canadian consumer what no politician in Canada had the balls to do*: kill Supply Management. * Except Mad Max. If we want any part of a trade agreement, Supply Management will have to go! Thank you, Mr Trump.
Turning the economy around on a dime? Ha !
O.K. Dictator PM pony up and stop fighting with little old ladies. They are stronger than you.

Personally, I think this is less about Canada, and much more about the EU. Mexico has a very recent Trade Agreement with the EU. Canada is still dicking around with Italy and won’t allow most of their specialty foods, so the Trade Agreement between Canada and the EU is still pending. Incidentally, the head honcho of Italy was a guest at the White House just last month ;D.
But, now that the US has apparently reached a deal with Mexico, it’s time to go back to the EU and push some more concessions. Otherwise, “that’s a nice market you have going with Mexico, it would be a shame if something happened to it” applies. All about leverage…leverage on the EU…leverage on Canada. It’s the art of the deal.
Let’s not forget that China will not be very happy with this huge US/MEX trade deal either. Look for Xi to come begging back to work out a solution with Trump now that it appears Mexico might start getting a large slice of the US pie that China has owned for decades.
And if Xi and Trump finally work out a deal, Canada will *really* be at the back of the line, with almost no leverage at all (not that we have much to give up now).
Friends, two things. First I used to think Drudge was the greatest headline writer of all time but I am beginning to to think Kate deserves that honour.
Second, I work with Americans every day of my life, and have done so for over 20 years, and I can tell you there has been an optimism in the air, for many months now, that I have not seen in a very very long time. It is hard to describe. Different than the optimism we might get from a good quarterly result. It is bigger, something more, something deeper.
The US Is back my friends. Bigly!
Meanwhile we suffer with the pot head juvenile we elected and his affirmative action high-school cabinet. Every last damn one of them is useless.
I agree with everything you have said, especially about Drudge, IMHO it has gone liberal, no longer go there to check the news, go to SDA instead, Kate is the best and the comments here are very interesting.
I agree re: US, there is optimism in the air, and it is noticable!
Our small potatoes and all his losers haven’t done a bit of work, sit in question period like zombies, while he rambles on in platitudes!
That face! Nasty cow.
Problem is this cow has already lobbied lots of democrat senators to oppose passage.
So there will be no deal, at least with Canada. The next logical step is a total boycott of Canadian products.
If i were Canadian I’d have a nice dinner. Might be the last time ever sort of event as the future will involve difficult decisions between heat, food, and ammo to fend off all the lovely imports you have there.
Were Canadian negotiators so naive that they really believed that if the Mexican government had to choose between getting a *good enough* trade deal with the U.S. that’s worth billions or a worthless goodwill gesture to Trudeau to not sign without Canada ….that Mexico would choose Trudeau?
That’s the main problem with having our country run by a gender studies glee club : they are idealistic morons. From “the heart out” to gender justice trade deals to believing Mexico wouldn’t act in their country’s self interest. The Trudeau government is out of touch wuth reality. They also believe Paris Accord signatories will be as willing to tank their economies to achieve negligible CO2 emission reductions as Trudeau is, let alone having carbon taxes threaten national unity.
But, hey, Trudeau and the Liberals did get plenty of “atta boys” and pats on the back from international VIPs and journalists. Being self-centred narcissists, that’s what was really important to them.
Trudeau and the Liberals can’t buy their way out of this like buying a pipeline. Journalists will twist and spin like cirque du soleil acrobats to provide cover but I doubt it’ll work this time. Trudeau and his courtiers were simply out-maneuvered and out-smarted by Trump and Mexico.
Very well said.
Very well said is right.
Very well “sad” is more accurate. As in, it’s sad to be Canadian these days, with no national politician worth crossing the street for.
I’d cross the street for some – if their face was on fire and my bladder was full.
▪@ 1:53 L C
You describe Capitalism versus Communism. Well said. The Communists will stop at nothing to reduce population numbers. It is the middle class they destroy. The poor are their servants. Nothing has changed nor will it ever change.
Those ‘pats on the back’ and ‘atta boy’ remarks are for the ‘fools on the hill’ who will be the first ones to send their lambs to the slaughter.

It’s hilarious and farcical: scrambling to save a deal they have always pretended to revile.
Yes yes. Excellent point.

So hang on now. If the Mexicans did a deal with Trump at the exclusion of Canada, is it not the honest thing for all the Trump haters in Canada to now start hating Mexico as well? Are they not now also evil through close assocation?
I assume all the Trudeau-loving Trump haters are frantically cancelling their upcoming winter Mexico vacations, yes?
All of the above. This is what we get for electing a juvenile government.
Then again, what does one expect from a country in which a large portion of the electorate figures that himbo-ness and beefcakery are the sole qualifications required for leading it?

Trump
“I think with Canada, frankly, the easiest we can do is to tariff their cars coming in. It’s a tremendous amount of money and it’s a very simple negotiation. It could end in one day and we take in a lot of money the following day,”
Man oh Man! Wait till Andrew “Tiger” Scheer hears about this!
Trump would grab Scheer by the pussy 🙂
Canadian governments and the Canadian populace have counted on American goodwill for decades. That goodwill provided a standard of living that rivaled those of the most affluent countries in the world. Much of that goodwill resided in geopolitical realities. A defensive barrier with the Russians and a guarantee of access to Canadian resources. These strengths have devalued greatly over the past 15 years.
If NAFTA is primarily a ‘car’ deal for the benefit of Ontario and Quebec then perhaps the value of the automotive market in Canada should be evaluated. New car sales of +/- 2 million units would generate $65 billion/yr. Canada exports $320 billion to the USA. IMHO I suspect that many Americans feel they have sold access to their consumer markets to cheaply. A tougher USA trade posture and a lowering of corporate tax rates could hollow out the rest of Ontario’s manufacturing in a matter of a few years.
I am hearing commentators (especially Liberal ones) remarking that the deal is a tri-partite deal and must be ratified by Congress (assuming it is a “Treaty”) so Canada has plenty of time, no need to panic. This reveals to me their stratey of waiting for the md-terms hoping the Dementocrats will retake the house.
And what is Plan B?
Yep that’s the plan. The day after the red wave election should be interesting to say the least on both sides of the border.
Treaties are ratified in the Senate only so what happens in the House doesn’t matter. The Democrats have zero chance of retaking the Senate because they have to defend 3X the number of seats that the Repubs do and they’ve got several very tenuous seats like WV and ND.
The US can make any bilateral agreement it wants to. The Canadian media needs to smarten up.
Canada is naturally a wealthy country but this requires government policy to encourge resource and industrial development, not restricting it. Pipelines anyone? Still plenty of money for the Bombardier Board of Directors though.
Trump just told Junior and Freeland to F-off .. take it or leave it.
Trump .. ” But one way or the other, we have a deal with Canada. It will either be a tariff on cars, or it will be a negotiated deal. And, frankly, a tariff on cars is a much easier way to go. But perhaps the other would be much better for Canada.”
NAFTA Terminated: President Trump Announces Preliminary Agreement for New U.S./Mexico Trade Deal…
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/08/27/nafta-terminated-president-trump-announces-preliminary-agreement-for-new-u-s-mexico-trade-deal/
Trump…”We’re starting negotiations with Canada, pretty much immediately. I can’t tell you where those negotiations are gone. It’s going to be a — it’s a smaller segment, as you know. Mexico is a very large trading partner.”
As many people have been saying for the past year, Canada should have been cutting a bilateral deal with the US on day one and leaving the Mexicans on the outside looking in. The fact that not only did that not happen but that the Mexicans pulled it off in reverse is an indictment of the Liberals and how inept the current leadership is overall.

Poloz will announce more increases now in BOC rates to keep investment from fleeing, meanwhile once again punishing Canadians for their stupidity in electing idiots. You cannot have a good society when stupid people who are unable to care for themselves are allowed to decide who leads the country. End of story. We need to move back to a voting system that restricts the right of voters who have no skin in the game. Voting for your own free stuff will destroy any country that allows it. Ripping the parasites off the host will be extremely difficult, but it’s either that or enjoy the decline that’s coming.
p.s. I know it will never happen, but that is the cure to what ails the country.

Remember Trump was lying when he said he thought he had a deal. He was lying when he said we can work out the sunset clause . Sunset clause with Mexico 16 years . Negotiations have been going well . Looks like they have – for Mexico. The press and the negotiating advisors still insist they are close to a new “nafta “. They aren’t listening to a thing Trump is telling them. So far as the economy goes…
Amo 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Amo 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
….mistake number one, Canadian government underestimating PDJT, mistake number two, the Canadian government keeps underestimating PDJT, mistake number three, Canadian government hoping for the Democrats to win the House in 2018… Canada, you’re out!
Even if the Dems win the House (probable at this time) and the Senate (improbable at this time), PDJT can veto them to death.
It takes a 2/3 majority of both the House and the Senate to override a presidential veto.
Impeachment? Bonne chance, mes amies contre Trump.
House majority can (like Bubba), but, again 2/3 of Senate required to remove/make Pence POTUS, again like Bubba.
So, not just Canadians are underestimating PDJT. Maybe when the midterm voters see the chaos coming, they may go GOP.
