  1. The Boston Globe joins in solidarity today with 300 other newspapers to prove to the American people that they are not in collusion against Drumpf!

    https://www.bostonglobe.com/opinion/editorials/2018/08/15/editorial/Kt0NFFonrxqBI6NqqennvL/story.html

All the polling in the editorial was done by the non-partisan European firm IPSOS

The only reason why only 1 of the 300 newspapers involved endorsed Drumpf is because the other ones who endorsed him are unhinged hatemongers!

  2. We no longer have Anti-trust laws that prevented collusion between independent competing Journalistic opinion…. The media has become “Group Think” and IMHO not entitled to (individual) Press First amendment rights… They are one voice with one opinion.. ..A Vortex of childish drivel

  3. Utopianism: One of the Biggest Obstacles to Progress
    By Chelsea Follett

The Marxist artwork illustrating the article is worth a 1,000 words and more eerie than the article, itself, for those of old enough to recall it.
To paraphrase Prof. Jordan Peterson, ” The Marxists are always one *(more) murder away from Utopia.”

*I’ve taken the liberty to add the word more as I think, it is adds precision in the wording.

  4. Phillip, you raise a point that hasn’t been carefully discussed by conservatives. You are right. I don’t like the term “MSM”, preferring the term “corrupt media cartel”, since there is a collusion afoot to slant all reporting and opnion to the left. Here in Canada, the cartel has colluded to keep the Trudeau groping scandal hidden. Venezuela’s crisis is barely covered. The 300+ newspapers running the sameanti-Trump editorial — and the fawning coverage of the collusion afterwards is but one example. I taught economics at university for 33 years, and economists have long said that cartels are inherently bad. — David Murrell, Economics, UNB at Fredericton

  5. Attempting to combat the impression that the media engages in like-minded collusion by colluding in publishing like-minded editorials doesn’t exactly strike me as a convincing tactic.

    1. *
the media are just constantly shilling for the lunatic left…

“Liberals are playing dishonest games with stats to crack
down on legal gun owners. While the Liberal party sees
gun control as a possible ‘wedge’ issue, StatsCan simply
has no evidence to support their claims.”

    1. I am watching a series from CHCH tv called “The State”. It is without a doubt the most accurate depiction of life and death in an ISIS camp in Syria. It is chilling and in many cases sickening to see the depravity of these sub-humans. It follows 4 people from the UK as they join ISIS. It is beyond brutal and depicts the reality of what happens in their hell-holes. It makes you ask the question why would anyone follow islam.

      1. Same reason why socialists created gulags, gave China the cultural revolution, gave Laos the killing fields.
One follows Muhammad, the other follows Marx.

  6. Tesla is suing the Ontario Government claiming the cancelled incentives will hurt its business.

    http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/tesla-canada-sues-ontario-government-1.4788073

What really irks me about the article is not that Tesla sees government incentives as a right but rather how the journalist views the whole thing.

“The EHVIP program [government incentive] was funded in large part by the profits from Ontario’s cap-and-trade program, which Ford’s government also abandoned this summer.”

    The cap-and-trade program produced “profits”?

  7. 350 newspapers launched a coordinated attack against Trump to prove they don’t do things like coordinate attacks on Trump.

    This sh1t just writes itself.

On a related note, has anyone seen juthtins eyebrows? Anyone have an idea what they would call the new ministry in charge of relocating them? Is Bill Blare on the case?

  8. The “German tourist driving with his family west of Calgary” story just keeps getting stranger. When first told, a German man was driving his family in a car west of Calgary when someone shot him in the head. They [police] arrested a man who was nearby but never charged him and soon after released him. Now the story has changed to the man was shot intentionally by someone inside the vehicle, but the article now doesn’t mention he was driving with his family. Even more strange is the fact that with the family in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, someone in the family would know what happened. The man can’t move his right side and is unable to speak.

  9. Having fired both, I’d say it’s easy to see why the M-16 is a rifleman’s weapon while the AK-47 is the terrorists’ weapon. I wouldn’t want to be on the angry end of either of them, however.

  10. Stupid Liberal Justine’s War Against Canadians.

    1. The first thing the moron Trudeau should do is reduce Canada’s 280% tariff on dairy and reduce it to the varied double or triple digit tariff the US has. The rate is irrelevant as the controlling factor is quotas. As the US exports 4 or 5 times the dairy to Canada, reduce the import quota to the same amount the US imports from Canada. It would shut Trump up and really piss off Wisconsin.

    1. It appears to me they think they can out liberal the liberals sans the carbon tax. They too are all about “diversity ” as long as it follows their views. Max is about to be pushed further under the truck even though he represents the views of a significant portion of the party . I have not purchased a party membership since Harper’s defeat , as I wanted to see the direction the party would follow. The constant calls for donations have been ignored. I am pretty sure the vote is going too. Apparently I am in the wilderness with no place to cast a vote . The funny part is by pushing Max out ,I predict the media narrative will be “See , the cons are all the negatives we told you they were .” It is similar to the Hijab narrative , something that was no where on the Cons radar and was a trap they jumped right into !

  11. Feeling very sorry for all the POOR folks in Ontario who ordered a Teslas…Premier Ford will not pay the subsidies offered by the Wynne Liberals. Tesla is taking the Ontario government to court, the very idea taxpayer money can’t be used to subsidize people rich enough to pay upwards to $80,000.00 bucks for a freaking car!!

  12. I hate the Saskatchewan party. Just heard on the radio that we are helping BC with fire fighting.

“You can stop as many pipelines as you want but we are better than that”.

The sask party is committed to losing. There will be a carbon tax under Scott Moe. There will never be a pipeline built. There will only ever be “that is not who we are”.

    1. “Just heard on the radio that we [Saskatchewan] are helping BC with fire fighting.”

And so you should be. Such actions transcend other interprovincial disputes.

  13. What changed with reCaptcha?
Friking nightmare. Can’t get through spin spin spin.
    Or have I been naughty?
(so. of course, I didn’t have to stand on my head this time)

    1. I think occasionally Captcha is down. It was for me earlier today. Came back a bit later. Save your text and post later.

  14. ▪@ 10:47 L J
I agree, they are probably all gov’t employees of one stripe or another who were ordering these cars. They probably aren’t willing to incinerate in a car yet. If they had a deposit on account I wonder where THAT money came from? Gov’t subsidy on deposits? Besides who is really wants to pay that for a car? It’s a heap of junk. Expensive junk.

    1. @ 2:32 pm from Nancy to Liz J @ 10:47am:

      Sorry typo, It’s Friday…
Should read: “Besides, who really wants to pay that for a car?”

    2. Yes, they’re experimenting for future cars which will cost much, much less….they want taxpayer money to pay for their
      experiment.

  15. To Aretha Franklin Fans:
