       I am not a Trump fan, but I predicted to my American friends very early in the electoral process that Trump would get elected. Why? Because he was paying attention to the grievances of a large number of Americans.

17. I wonder if the slow death of the press doesn’t have a lot to do with the migration of opinion from the editorial page to the front page. Paying money to read people tear apart my society isn’t in the cards. I used to be a voracious reader of newspapers but my gag reflex couldn’t handle it anymore.

    1. Excellent comment, Scar. When I attended journalism school in the mid-60’s, it was beaten into us that opinion and news each had a legitimate space in newspapers, just not in the SAME space. Now it’s hard to tell one from the other.

CNNs Brian Stelter (America’s Hall Monitor… thanks Greg Gutfield) was quiet about that story and as far as I know quiet about the NBC crew that was beat up by Antifa on the weekend. 27. I detect a set-up in the wind. Note that The Donald has tweeted that the NYT has had posession of the full, unredacted FISA warrant application since early 2017. That means the NYT has been lying about the Steele Dossier, the basis for the Mueller probe, and a handful of related issues ever since.
    What happens when the FISA warrant application gets declassified, and shown to be a known fraud, and that a couple of media outlets were willing participants in the propogation of a known and provable lie?
