  1. Providing the Leadership of the Free World- Making America Great Again

Elect alpha males for leaders and Western Civilization will regain it’s self-confidence.

  2. Yes…. Elect alpha male economists for leaders, and get Western Civilization out of debt!

  3. Our military funding is brutal. Lefty peaceniks who think Canada has no enemies will state that adding lets say 20 billion a year in military spending means doing without other programmes. Of course they don’t acknowledge 2 billion a month in debt interest payments incurred due to a bloated and ever fattening bureaucracy. Not to mention pork barreling. Getting rid of the CBC alone would help purchase some pretty nasty hardware every single year.

    1. Absolutely right. The CBC is such an anachronism in todays world of media choice. Why on earth a modern and progressive country like Canada likes to think it is, needs a centrally-funded, Toronto -centric, state-broadcaster is beyond reason. I mean really isn’t it 2015 or something! Are we not all emancipated and ‘woke’ from paternalistic we-know-best journalism? LIberals! such hypocrites.

    2. I would love to do without all government programs.

Government does not exist to provide services; services are a trojan to provide cover for taxing. The more services, the more taxes. The more taxes, the bigger the government. Which is why cutting services is so staunchly avoided. I will never vote for or financially support anyone who will not cut services.

  4. Don’t feel so bad, our fiscally responsible (/sarc) GOP Establishment in the US refuses to even consider getting rid of PBS, NEA, and NEH, much less whole departments like the Department of Education.

  5. Canada’s NATO commitment is 2% of GDP, and we currently spend 1% of GDP
It’s been this way for a long, long time. Canada hasn’t kept it side of the bargain since Brian Mulroney was PM.

    That’s a $20 billion per year difference.

  6. The Altering of the Deal…
Turkey’s proposed NATO-Exit and alliance with Russia should help…btw, exactly as written in Ezekiel 38. Russia, Persia and Turkey…Islamunism

From a broader military standpoint, Turkey is actively cooperating with Russia, which has recently pledged to ensure Turkey’s security. “Moscow underscores that Turkey can calmly withdraw from NATO, and after doing so Ankara will have guarantees that it will not face any threat [from US-NATO] in terms of ensuring its own security,” (According to statement of Turkish Air Force Major-general Beyazit Karatas (ret))

Moreover, Ankara will be acquiring in 2020 Russia’s state of the art S-400 air defense system while de facto opting out from the integrated US-NATO-Israel air defense system. The S-400 deal is said to have caused “concern” “because Turkey is a member of NATO and the [S-400] system cannot be integrated into NATO’s military architecture”.

    1. Let the Russians and China have Turkey. It’s a Muslim nation moving more and more to a theological style of government. Good luck for them.

        1. Black sea access to the Mediterranean sea is controlled by Turkey (Bosporus and Dardanelles straits). Russian access to the Mediterranean requires good relations with Turkey.

      1. Edrogen dreams of a new “Ottoman” empire. His views are those of Islam (or he hides behind Islam). He is no friend of the U.S. or the west. (Merkel excepted) He will become an absolute dictator as he is already close to that now. As Sporty said, let the Russians and China have Turkey and good luck for them. They will be disillusioned in short order as Islam is the lever of his rise and Turkey will be the next trouble spot in the world.

  7. Socialist thanks socialist for bumping up the budget of a socialist institution — the military.
