  1. Looks as though CIA-MI6 Operative Stefan Halper is the ‘mole’ who was inserted within the Trump campaign by Comey.

    1. His scientific or technical expertise is on par with that of Elena Ceausescu’s. I shudder to think that he’ll be displaying his knowledge of quantum computing again or he’ll urge us to change our perceptions of things such as time and space.

      1. I think the TURDoo is trying to simulate quantum mechanics.
up is down, left is right, particles in 2 places at the same time. the truth changes in the act of looking at it.
        that kind of stuff.

    2. Watch, wait and see whether David Axelrod will be there. You never know perhaps J.T. needs election advice.

As for his speech, he may have someone from Mensa write it, or Bill Nye the Science Guy. You know as a try out for the election next year.

  2. The Argentine bank raised overnight interest rates to 40% in an effort to combat runaway inflation in that country. The government budget as a percentage of GDP has risen from less than 23% in 2002 to over 41% in 2017 with a 6.5% operating deficit that can’t be shaken. The “economic populist” government is driving the country toward bankruptcy as three successive governments have shown no effort to reduce government spending. A nod to Trump’s tax cuts and a dis to Obama’s let’s wait and see (kind of like Trudeau’s) economic plan, all brought to you by the Wall Street Journal.

On the one hand the CEO of Tesla is sleeping on the shop floor to help solve engineering problems. One the other, the head of engineering has decided to stay at home with the wife and kids.

  4. At least Tesla’s are learning. If there’s a chance your car will catch on fire after impact, what better than to crash into a fire truck.

Tesla, possibly on autopilot, slams into truck in dramatic Utah wreck

Police in Utah are investigating whether a fast-moving Tesla car that rear-ended a fire truck on Friday was in autopilot mode.

The Tesla Model S was moving at 60 mph when it hit a truck that was stopped at a red light around 6:30 p.m., the South Jordan Police Department said.

The car’s brakes — according to witnesses — apparently were not deployed before the crash.

    1. “possibly”. Personally, I doubt it was on autopilot. They claim the Tesla hit at 60 mph (100 km/hr). If true, it takes a human driver to get up to that speed. Much more likely are drugs or liquor or maybe a medical condition. And of course one can not rule out “texting”.

My objection is that the article makes implications but has no real facts.

  5. Here is another reason for me to like Donald Trump. First, I did not know how lax was the enforcement of visa requirements. Second, according to the WSJ, the number of people entering on an F, J, or M visa and overstaying is sizeable.
    F visa = college student
J visa = college exchange student or academic
M visa = vocational or technical student

    1. The Foreign Student scam was addressed by Trump during the Campaign… He said that the UN policy of using American Colleges to educate foreign Students (using USA Money) and then returning them to shit hole Countries would END. All Foreign Students MUST be provided with the option of a position in the USA……The UN Scam would end, although educated and practicing professionals would be better able to play beneficial roles, in the USA and future resources to the Shit Holes when positions were available…..
The foreign Student scan @ Harvard & other Colleges would lose USA taxpayer money, screw the UN

Why would a Tesla NOT be in Auto-pilot.. that is the highlighted feature….Who would not trust AI in 2018 ? The technology needs
more dead people to test for unknown failures.. Without more dead people development progress will be slow…It could be assumed that by 2100 enough real world AI will have been tested and trust becomes reasonable.

Even as other Newfoundlanders said they didn’t find the term offensive, Seamus O’Regan, a St. John’s MP and the federal minister of veterans affairs, tweeted simply: “We don’t like it.”

Late Thursday afternoon, the show acknowledged the criticism on Twitter, offered an apology and appeared to delete the original tweet.”

“We regret our use of the word ‘Newfie’ to describe the people of Newfoundland. We apologize for any offence and will stick to Newfoundlanders going forward,” it said.”

“Legacy of ashes: Obama’s fading accomplishments

Early in the Obama presidency, National Review’s Jim Geraghty observed that all of Barack Obama’s promises come with an expiration date.

By that, Geraghty meant that Obama tended to have strongly held convictions, up until the moment they became politically inconvenient.

It turns out that President Obama’s few accomplishments are just as ephemeral.

Lacking Senate votes to ratify a treaty with Iran, Obama instead made a personal promise to honor the Iran deal. Last week, President Trump reversed that decision.”

Barack Obama’s policy was to ask Iran to show some flexibility, give good relations with America a chance, just as he sought to make nice with Cuba, Russia, China, even the Muslim Brotherhood.

Odious but not stupid, the mullahs knew a sucker when they saw one”

“Watching President Trump scupper the Iran Deal made me wonder where we would be today if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 presidential election. I was reminded of fired FBI Director James Comey’s praise for the defeated Democratic nominee at a Town Hall meeting in April of this year: “Hillary Clinton is more meshed in, trained in, respectful of the norms and traditions that I’m so worried about being eroded today.”

Lucky, I thought, Donald Trump is not “meshed in, trained in, respectful of the norms and traditions” that constituted the Obama Doctrine.”
