  4. Had to laugh at the NY Times headline “At a key moment, Trump’s top diplomat is again thousands of miles away”. Of course, they’re referring to Trump declaring that he won’t continue with the Iran nuclear deal yesterday. Rather than bring the good news of the returning hostages, they instead try and spin the story.

    THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. Henry Kissinger has been a friend of mine. I’ve liked him, I’ve respected him. But we’ve been friends for a long time, long before my emergence in the world of politics, which has not been too long.

    But it’s an honor to have Dr. Kissinger with us, a man of immense talent, and experience, and knowledge. And I’m going to talk to him for a while, and we’re going to learn a lot. But I can say from a world standpoint and with many of the countries that Henry and I would talk about before the election — because I would talk with Henry before the election — we’ve made a lot of progress with many of them. We have some outstanding, and we’ll handle that as we have to handle it.

    DR. KISSINGER: Mr. President, I didn’t expect this opportunity. It’s always a great honor to be in this office, and I’m here at a moment when the opportunity to build a constructive, peaceful world order is very great.

    And the President is leaving on a trip to Asia, which I think will make a big contribution to progress and peace and prosperity.

  9. How does it keep happening? They are stupid. The media has a collective IQ of 25. Ben Rhodes, failed wanna be fiction writer, a man whose only qualification for working in the state dept is being a sibling to a person in charge of a major network is their go to guy for analysis of Trump’s foreign policy. Rhodes, who famously stated after the original Iran agreement that the same journalists asking him for his opinion now are a bunch of know nothing 20 somethings you can tell any lie to and they’ll believe it. And they still go to him.

  12. Our good ole Global News isn’t impressed. They spent maybe 30 seconds on the hostage release before doing a FULL report on this new and still unproven allegation of Trumps lawyer accepting money from the Russians. So pathetic.

      1. Disbelief in the holy power of Carbon is a high crime – when you’re on enough drugs it makes sense to impeach because, well, models. Not the kind that Trump marries, the computer kind that can never be verified or duplicated.
