  1. North Korea has not been communicating with South Korea for years, total silence, now, thanks to Trump, they are talking and there’s even plans for the two leaders to meet.
Meanwhile, Democrats, CNN, the media in general, are all upset with Trump… https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/08/opinions/will-anyone-stand-in-trumps-corner-as-he-fights-kim-jong-un-opinion/index.html
Go figure… I guess lefties have the back of any leader that labels himself Marxist-Leninist-Whatever…

  2. “To jaw-jaw is always better than to war-war.”
    Winston Churchill

  3. Probably getting together to compare funny hairdos…:-) and make China nervous.

  4. The Nobel Committee is preparing a Nobel Peace prize to be given, jointly, to BOTH of Obama’s Secretary’s of State; John Fitzgerald Kerry … and HER. Because … obviously … they laid the groundwork for this monumental Foreign Policy breakthrough. Just like Obama laid the groundwork for the Trump Economy. [obvious sarc.]
    WINNING!!!
MY President will go down as GREATER than Reagan. And IF he can just drain the swamp … America will be GREAT again … and hopefully Canada too !!

  5. NK’s missile and nuke tests were merely stunts to shake down the West for more cash, a la Iran. Trump called their bluff, and now the internal state apparatus that keeps Kim Jong-Un in power doesn’t want to be staring down a sh!t load of JDAMs, MOABs and cruise missiles. Kim (and China) now know that one wayward missile test that approaches any populated area, in Japan or Hawaii, is all it takes. If it comes to that then all the terror that Kim could inflict on his people (since it’s brutal terror that keeps him in power) would not be enough to coerce the nation into submission. It would collapse like a house of cards.
A one-on-one with Trump will (internally) make Kim appear competent and leader-like. That’s his best option now.

  6. I’m not surprised by this at all. Isn’t the contrast between Trump and Obama astonishing? Obama is awarded the novel peace prize for being elected and Trump will likely actually achieve some peace and stability. I’m starting to think he might even get the Palestinian terrorists to stop.

  7. Would be nice for Trump to get the Nobel Peace Prize in October on the way to bigger wins in November.
Or, just as good, pick up the prize on the same day HRC flies to Gitmo (she always likes the government to pay her way).

  8. The Dems will forever be in a Resist mode so they’ll be scrambling to find something to pick away at. Whatever. The Media, the little I’ve seen, seem to be reporting it somewhat positively. Somewhat. Cbc was full of praise to the President. South Korean President Moon that is. But the always mystifying Never Trumpers, all of them from the conservative side of the spectrum, have dug in and find NOTHING good about this historic event tonight. Rob Brekenridge, Calgarys reliable TDS afternoon talker couldn’t wait to get in on the action retweeting the Haters. Apparently Trump and his Administration are so dumb they can’t see the NKs are pulling a fast one on them which explains why the past President’s never took up the offer…..or something. Very strange and deep hatred these people carry with them all day, everyday.

  9. So simple, all the west needed to do was to have B. Hussien, 2 Bushes, and a Clinton, to stop fellating the NORKs.
I’m really looking forward to how the BBC / CNN will cover this. The spin is going to be awesome.

  10. The press ridiculed Trump for saying he had a bigger button than KJU but it would appear that KJU took the message to heart.

  11. Donald Trump. Making liberals look foolish one day at a time. Well done Sir. I hope you are indeed successful in disarming and maybe even reunifying Korea.

  12. Very stable genius.
Not a done deal, but certainly looking better than anytime in 80? years. Iran will feeling lonely with NK finding a new friend.

  13. Ha. They’re already chastising Trump for attempting a meeting in May. They claim it is TOO SOON for the government to develop a proper strategy. Ha ha ha ha … Witness the difference between the Private sector and the Public sector … one diddles themselves while the other gits er done. Yes, Trump is a businessman … NOT a politician nor a diplomat … Thank God!

  14. Where they meet will be revealing. Will Kim want to stay in NK or will he chance the coup back home if he goes to SK? Going to the US to meet Pres Trump would be most unlikely but would the secret service be able to take Pres Trump going to NK? Maybe China will have something to say on the matter if the US fleet offshore is used to secure the meeting site or even be the meeting site.
Of course all is dependent on the murdering NK dictator having the good sense to follow through on peace talks.

  15. Trump versus the Establishment reminds me a great deal of the Ali vs Foreman fight.
A big, powerful, unbeatable machine comes out to destroy an aging loudmouth, throws bomb after bomb at him while he calmly lays back on the ropes coming off them to deliver short but damaging combinations.
Will the big, powerful, unbeatable machine run out of gas and finally be stopped by the aging loudmouth? Just like back then, I’m betting yes.

  17. Why would ANYONE believe Kim Jong Un’s sincerity on this?
He only has slightly more credibility than the American media.

  18. “Mueller is now going to indict Trump for collusion with the commies.” I was wondering the same thing.
    NORK, NORK, NORK.
FoxNews this morning showed a little clip about Rachel Madcow, MSNBC, castigating Trump for meeting Ding Dong.

  19. “Why would ANYONE believe Kim Jong Un’s sincerity on this?
He only has slightly more credibility than the American media.”
Just like the media, lying is an integral part of communist policy.

  20. Would be nice for Trump to get the Nobel Peace Prize in October…
President Trump would say “Just doing my job”

  21. I’ll show you my button if you show me yours.
He hopes it works…might be shooting blanks for all he knows.

Safety problems at a Los Alamos laboratory delay U.S. nuclear warhead testing and production
A facility that handles the cores of U.S. nuclear weapons has been mostly closed since 2013 over its inability to control worker safety risks
Shuttering a key part of PF-4 abruptly halted two types of sensitive work done nowhere else in the United States, for roughly the next four years: The invasive sampling and analysis of selected aging nuclear weapons cores to ensure that intact models could all still function as intended; and the production of new cores that could be fit into more modern nuclear weapons or replace those pulled apart in testing.

  22. There is no possibility of a nuclear-free Korean Peninsula.
Why would a dictator like Kim Jong-Un give that up?
He is doing what he and his father before him have done: played nicely, waited for he sanctions to lift and continued being bigger b@$#@rds then ever before.
If one wants peace, one will have to finish the war and remove the Kim dynasty from the Earth.

  24. Maybe it’ll come down to a funny hairdo competition, what with rockets with bent nose cones and nuclear weapons that might shoot blanks…
