  1. Thought Ms. Allen did best in debate followed by Doug Ford who had too much makeup on. Allen showed the youthful energy Caroline Mulroney was supposed to embody and showed an assertiveness that Christine Elliot lacked.
Amazed that the supposed elite in the party who number a lawyer or two didn’t get Brown to sign a resignation as leader paper.
Worst moderator ever for a debate. Nothing but questions designed to embarrass the Conservatives instead of asking questions about health care, high taxes and sky high hydro rates. Asked about each candidates religion which he would never ask liberal or n.d.p. leadership candidates in a debate.

  3. From ‘The Daily Wire’:
    ByRYAN SAAVEDRA February 7, 2018
The FBI’s informant in the Uranium One scandal involving the Obama administration gave written testimony to three congressional committees this week in which he accused the Obama administration of making decisions that directly benefited the Russian government and their goals of gaining geopolitical advantages over the United States.
The informant, Douglas Campbell, told congressional investigators on Wednesday that Moscow sent millions of dollars to the U.S. with the expectation that it would benefit the Clintons, while Hillary Clinton “quarterbacked a ‘reset’ in US-Russian relations” in her role as Secretary of State during the Obama administration, The Hill reported.
    Key facts:
Campbell participated in closed-door interviews with the Senate Judiciary, House Intelligence and House Oversight and Government Reform committees.
Campbell said that Russian nuclear officials told him that Moscow hired an American lobbying firm, APCO Worldwide, because it was in a unique position to influence the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton in particular.
Democrats are aggressively trying to discredit him but are having little success as “the FBI found Campbell’s undercover work valuable enough to reward him with a $50,000 check in 2016.”
Campbell says that the FBI told him that his work was “briefed to President Obama as part of his daily presidential briefing,” which would mean that Obama was aware of the crimes committed by the Russian officials.

  4. I would highly recommend the latest issue of biannual The Dorchester Review, Volume 7 Number 2 Autumn/Winter 2017. Well worth the $29 subscription.
It is a hundred pages chock full of articles by right of center media types and acedemics about how Canada’s traditions are under assault by the left, the toppling of monuments, and historical figures such General Cornwallis, PM MacDonald.
Yes, there are still some non Marxist professors.

  5. That shouldn’t be any problem for Behar: Oprah is God! Then again, isn’t talking to oneself also a sign of insanity?

  6. Wynneing!!!
    ————————–
Premier Kathleen Wynne was told three weeks ago that a Liberal cabinet minister sexually assaulted and abused a woman, former Liberal MP and lawyer John Nunziata tweeted Thursday night.
“I was retained today by a woman who was sexually assaulted and abused by a Liberal cabinet minister,” he tweeted. “The premier was informed three weeks ago.”

  7. Can anyone explain why we are obligated to send millions to billions to ME countries like Iraq and Syria?
Is this part of the reason Trudeau is telling our veterans who have returned from some of those ME hell holes, some minus limbs, he can’s afford to pay them more compensation?

  8. veterans and us olde people are just whiners who need to learn to live within our means. Shopping recently, I watched several old people (about my age) who were struggling to keep their grocery costs down while still feeding them selves. I felt sorry for them. My rent equals what the government gives me, I use saving to live on, and live comfortably. But there are lot who are not that lucky, especially vets, they were often in their prime when injured!!!

“First he writes that the latest weather models and patterns are now pointing to an extended winter this year for Europe. For example the 14-day forecast for Hanover shows frosty conditions ahead.”
    “La Nina dragging temperatures down
So why have we been hearing about so many harsh winter conditions all over the northern hemisphere this winter?
One reason likely has something to do with the fact that the globe has been cooling off substantially since the last El Nino ended in 2016. Currently we are now experiencing La Niña conditions:…”

“RNC Spox: ‘Today Marks the Day that the Democrats’
    Russia Collusion Conspiracy Theory Unraveled’
McEnany said, “Today marks the day that the Democrats’ Russia collusion conspiracy theory unraveled. Because what we learned is astonishing.
We learned that the Russians were also organizing for Bernie Sanders.
We learned that in late November of 2016, they then turned their efforts to be against President Trump, that their goal was to sow discord and chaos, not to promote a certain candidate, and that no Americans were involved in this plot that they uncovered. This is astonishing.
It backs up what the Democrats have said all along, Dianne Feinstein saying it was all based on rumors and newspapers, but not necessarily evidence. Now we know that to be true. Democrats deceived this country and they were caught today.”
She added, “[T]he president has said, yes, the Russians have meddled in our election and it is a very serious thing. He has said that. That is documented. That is accurate.””

“As Peter Thiel ditches Silicon Valley for LA, locals tout ‘conservative renaissance’
The outspoken libertarian’s departure is a sign of the times, say LA conservatives, as Silicon Valley faces criticism for silencing alternative viewpoints
If the billionaire tech investor and noted libertarian Peter Thiel really does leave Silicon Valley for Los Angeles to escape what he views as an increasing intolerance for conservatives, the city’s growing community of conservatives will be there to welcome him.
Among LA’s right-leaning residents are the Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro, the political commentator Dave Rubin and the blogger Bill Whittle. There’s also the former members of the defunct Friends of Abe, a secretive group of Hollywood conservatives that fractured in 2016 over the candidacy of Donald Trump.”

  13. Big rationalization in the cable tv industry. Shaw offered it’s union a one time by out hoping 10% of it’s staff would take it. To it’s surprise almost 50% of the staff stepped up to the plate. The staff could read the writing on the wall. Shaw is going all internet. Cable tv is history – take note cbc/ctv/global. Actually global had a lay off this week.
Same thing in print media. Only those who operate behind a pay wall are making it. NY Times, WaPo G&M are hitting it out of the park. They are selling subscriptions not advertising.
Offer premium content to your base and they will pay for it. The garbage is on FB, Huffpo etc – hell I’ll throw Breitbart into that mix.
