Must “confess or denounce” white privilege? I am about half way through reading “The Great Terror” by Robert Conquest and that phrase could have been taken right out of the events surrounding the early 1917-1925 Leninist class warfare courts and the Stalinist/Vishinsky show and/or secret so-called trials that took place during the 1930s. Victims were made to confess their guilt under physical and mental torture. The families were always complicit in the “crime”.
It is fascinating and horrifying to watch the degeneration of our society into a replica of the communist utopia of the seventy years from 1917 to 1990. Saul Alynski’s dreams coming true.
