  1. Don’t forget it was the era before the pantsuit. I started junior high school 50 years ago. I remember the principal announcing that any girl showing up wearing pants would be sent home and would not be allowed to return unless she was wearing a skirt.
A few years later, lots of them at my school were wearing jeans and even hot pants.

  2. I posted a link to that story in the Reader Tips a day or so ago. I loved the one guy’s sign: Prime Minister . . . not Prime Mistaker. Great story, and the Asians are right about often being made scapegoats. Do we have any Asians in Trudeau’s cabinet — I have not seen any. They are perhaps the wrong demographic.

  3. God Bless Twiggy and the mini skirt … it is truly a wonderful culture that can UNcover our women and not gang rape them in the streets. Long live OUR culture … not the interlopers. Sorry meetoo’s … we weren’t a rapey culture back then. People like Harvey Weinstein would have been dealt with … forthwith.
I don’t know when I became an Anglophile … but I absolutely ADORE the English … at least as they “were”. I pray they will never, ever, ever, surrender their culture to the London Mayor’s … people.

  4. St rotavirus,
If you are so enamoured by the Taliban, why don’t you just head over there like Boyle?
Anyone who implies life was great under the Taliban until 2001 has nothing to tell me.

  5. Hey Strad! Thank you, so much for posting this latest smear of MY President … because it has caused the scales to fall from my eyes. The link has revealed exactly WHO and WHAT you are …
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Press_TV
You are a Muslim. Most likely of Iranian origin. Most likely a propagandist Spy from the Ayatollahs ministry of Dhimmi … posting TRUTHY articles about how the Joos and Saudis have compromised MY President’s “promise” to allow Iran unfettered access to Afghanistan.
Next time … when attempting to post comments as a Canadian Citizen … use more guile in your deception. Because now I shall simply dismiss all your comments as Muslim propaganda … and Joo Hate.

  6. the first thought that popped into my head was wow, most of those people are old or dead. I married in 1967 and I am old.

  9. Surely you’ve got the picture of him signing such a bill/EO, right? Oh, that’s right: because he hasn’t. Go back to Teheran.

  10. More #MeToo nuttiness. This one is so trivial that it makes it quite easy to understand the mass hysteria going on during the Salem witch trials . . . or for that matter the McCarthy era (though McCarthy may have been right about quite a few things.) Anyway, here we go again. I think the PC party is wasting its time investigating this one. The strategy of getting someone to claim inappropriate behaviour is clearly becoming a political strategy to take down a political rival:
