What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Bumped for update…

By uploading an altered GPS file, it’s possible to de-anonymise the company’s data and show exactly who was exercising inside the walls of some of the world’s most top-secret facilities. Once someone makes a data request for a specific geographic location – a nuclear weapons facility, for example – it’s possible to view the names, running speeds, running routes and heart rates of anyone who shared their fitness data within that area.

  1. everybody has lost their freaking minds. anyone who needs a fit bit bat or anything else to track their efforts needs to quit those efforts.

  2. Modern society….Beyond ADDICTED. …..So habituated to technology that they simply couldn’t (God Forbid..?) live without it.
Walk down ANY Street ANYWHERE…and you will see 2 legged DRONES – head down-“plugged” in. Well, at least that part of the Globalists plan is working better than they ever thought possible right.?
THX 1138 folks….if you have never watched this movie – it is prophetic to say the least
    “Drug Evasion is illegal”

  3. You think it was just an over sight? Or do you think tech companies like Apple, Google, Facebook, Twitter, … are on the other side.
    Rhetorical question.
You think the commanders that Obama replaced would have seen this coming? I wonder why he wanted his people in charge of every thing…
    rhetorical question.

  4. It’s not really a new issue at all. Military personnel with mobile phones (cellphones) and related devices have been identified as representing security risks in terms of both geolocation and communications interception for quite some time.
However, if OPSEC isn’t widely enforced, that’s another matter.

  5. Primitive man figured out how to chase (herd) their prey into dead-end KILL ZONES where they would drop stones, throw spears and slaughter mass numbers of 4-legged food. Perhaps before the US Military behave like “prey” and expose themselves in KILL ZONES … we should do the same to the Taliban … sweep their numbers from the general population … into the hills and caves … then drop a flurry of MOAB’s?
I hope they teach Stone Age warfare at West Point … sometimes, the old basics work best … 🙂
We’ve (Obama) tried the whole “make friends with your enemy” nonsense … and discovered that it is a MOronic idea.

  6. I read a sci fi short story eons ago, Asimov maybe, about a country that had a manner of high tech weaponry.
that kept fcuking up, causing combat losses.
the inferior armed opponent kept chugging along with their obsolete weaponry until they won the war.
scifi is know to turn into reality.
what would be better? a 500,000,000 jet impervious to radar, zipping at mach 3 needing CONSTANT maintenance etc etc
oorrrr, 100 of 5,000,000 jets stamped out on an assembly line swarming all over the battlefield like a bunch of really pyssed off hornets
with orders to smash absolutely everything that lines up with the gun sights?
what won the battle of europe? nazi tiger tanks numbering in oh, couple thousand, or the shermans numbering 30- 40- whatever thousand?
I was advised by a real estate buddy to check my creditkarma info. so I googled them and found out they got bytch slapped by the FTC for failing for a significant period to set up their web site to apply digital credential checks aka ‘certificates’ properly.
