I like this.

This was one of the few original policy positions Scheer had during the leadership that I agreed with. I’m glad to see that he’s taking action on it.
Especially in the era of University star-chambers.

He’s optimistic about dealing with the issue in the years ahead, explaining that he recently met with the non-profit group Universities Canada and they showed interest in tackling these sorts of problems.
“I don’t believe many people are satisfied with the status quo other than a group of very small radicals,” Scheer said.

  1. Let me know when the civil services experiences massive layoffs, like the private sector does. Let me know when he fires a million federal employees and permanently shrinks the Canadian government.
When he does something other than talk.

  2. Isn’t that the truth. There will never be any layoffs in government until the money is cut off. Sorry, that won’t work either. There won’t be any layoffs in government until we take the cheque book away! Yes, it makes no dif what breed of politico is in power.

  3. Scheer lost me when he signed on to the Paris Accord fraud. Oh I will vote for the tard as he is the best of the lot. I have also told my local MP that I am not happy and none of them have got a dime since then. I have better places to waste my money.

  4. we need more government, hell yes we should all be government employees, even those of us who are retired, i could use the extra money.

  5. I would not look to Universities Canada to tackle issues of free expression at universities. It would be a bit like the fox guarding the henhouse.

  6. Dumb. Adding strings to funding is generally dumb, all the more so when there isn’t even free speech OFF of campus. Call me when he wants to get rid of the CHRC.
