  1. Duterte: Justin Trudeau’s ‘Bullsh*t’ Human Rights Comments ‘A Personal Insult’
    http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2017/11/15/duterte-justin-trudeau-bullshit-human-rights-comments-a-personal-insult/
“Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte branded human rights criticisms levied at his administration by leftist Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau a “personal insult” on Tuesday, dismissing Trudeau’s concern as “bullshit” and refuting the prime minister’s claim that Duterte was “receptive” to his comments.”

  2. When are the Sask. NDP going to announce an apology to the survivors for the 60″s scoop. The NDP were in power when this happened. Let the Sask. NDP pay for what they did.

  3. Domino’s Pizza: saying what the groveling leaders of Ontario’s farm organizations won’t.

  4. “a lack of affordable, available energy, could kill us all.”
In Canada, a lack of affordable, available energy, will kill us all.
It is sheer insanity to overprice energy in a country where winter temps drop into the negative double digits.

What if it’s just a group of people working a plan?

  6. What if it’s just a group of people working a plan?
It’s called the left and it’s following Maurice Strong’s edict that the west must be de-industrialized.

  7. Our moral and intellectual superiors indeed!
    David Akin asks:
“We often ask: Why can’t Liberals win in oil country? Well: Why can’t Conservatives win in ‘brain’ country?”
A very insulting tweet from an arrogant Ottawa bubble ‘journalist’
I hope Akin is taking some flack for this.

  8. I was talking with a good friend who lives in Toronto last night. She could not believe that Regina has had 3 snow storms and that there is approx. 12″ of snow in my yards. Living in Toronto, a large city which creates its own micro-climate and living on the shore of Lake Ontario, she is used to mild winter temperatures and is a true believer in global warming. She is a great person, but like so many people, lives in her own little bubble and has only ventured twice in the past 30 years into the West, both times in the summer. I try to tell her about climate and geography, but she does not want to hear. Oh well, still a good friend to me.

  9. I have personal experience with A&W management, albeit +20 years ago. Very smart people. I do not think A&W’s aim was to submarine Western Canadian livestock producers. Their campaign on organic food was a calculated business strategy to attract a younger demographic into their stores. It is working. Same store sales consistently +5%. Anyone familiar with A&W would realize their previous strategy was based around the nostalgia of the ’50’s & ’60’s. Nice but a aging demographic. They had to make a move and have hit a home run.
It is incumbent on the industry to battle the perception that their product can meet the public need. I do think that can be done. A&W’s appeal is not to the whole market. Visit the Donald or Wendy’s to see otherwise.

  10. On further investigation:
Akin may be on to something…
It’s basically a ‘follow the money’ story.
“If I were a #CPC supporter/leader (cc: @AndrewScheer), I would wonder: Why don’t college towns/ridings vote for us? Cuz almost none of them do.”
I don’t know how to link twitter feeds here but Lance or Kate…your readers might be find it interesting.

  11. If Dominos Pizza got big enough and rich enough, it would start telling farmers what to do. Extreme wealth seems to engender a feeling of superiority and power. It’s a law of nature.

  12. I also have friends who buy into the global warming scam and think Trudeau is AOK. I am considering dropping them. It is frustrating to deal with people who have so little understanding of political realities. Good column by John Robson in the Post today indicting that Trudeau lives in his own fantasy land. His focus was on international issues, but the same problem (Trudeau’s obtuseness) exists on domestic matters. Our PM just does not have the brain power to understand the world. He allows the UN to lead him around by the nose, and of course, the UN has its own agenda. Alas, many Canadians are comfortable living in the same delusional world (budgets balance themselves, Canada does not need an oil industry, diversity is our strength, we must destroy our energy industry to save the planet . . . yada, yada) — too sad.

  13. “The Big Switch”
“‘Tis witchraft. The populists now have the working class.
The Western progressives rule at all the kingly courts: in Hollywood, the media, elite universities, in Washington and Brussels.
Today social justice means government, regulation, constant nudging, endless investigations of suspicious sexual activity and and an unblinking cross-examination of anyone in contact with Russia.
    Who could have predicted it?”

  14. The Gov is a bit busy right now spending 1 billion dollars fixing their payroll system. Me thinks accurate stat numbers are far down their list.
1,000,000,000,000 / 174,000,000 workers = $5747 per employee to fix the payroll system. When will the insanity stop!!!

  15. The Sask NDP, as witnessed by their latest leaders’ debate, are far too busy to issue apologies. They have grand plans for the reincarnation of STC and I strongly suspect that Spudco is also on the resurrection list.

  16. Well said; however, there should be a semi-colon following “job” in order to connect two independent clauses.

    “…Trump: ‘Al Frankenstein’”
“President Donald Trump reacted to the uncovered photo of Sen. Al Franken groping a woman while she was sleeping.
“The Al Frankenstien (sic) picture is really bad, speaks a thousand words,” Trump wrote on Twitter on Thursday night.”

  18. Another American Donald Trump style of bullshit story. Domino’s Pizzas are factory made with processed cheese, redi-mixed flour, processed meats and concentrates. Where in hell did the farmer play a part in making a frozen or a factory made pizza?? What next?? They’re using organically grown ice cubes in the drinks they serve?
This is all about trying to overpower companies like A+W that now place a certain level of importance on the purity of the products they serve.

PS: And NO, I’m not a troll because I despise Donald Trump more than frozen pizza!
