  1. The Spawn’s father was a popular anti-Anglo, neo-Marxist, post-nationalist, arrogant asshole and his Spawn and heir to the throne, an intellectually crippled chip off the old block. The likely only meaning in Remembrance day ceremonies for them both is going through the motions adequately so as not to piss off the remnants of those who hold meaning from the ranks of their electorate.

  2. Rather crass of you to exploit Remembrance Day just to take a petty jab at your political enemies, Rob.

  3. I know this is an old picture but everyone, raise your hands if you are sick of seeing our leader weep.

  4. WTF is wrong with you?
Supporting Castro’s Communist tyranny is an act that craps all over those who fought for freedom. And a slap in the face of all Canadians who value their freedom.
Pointing out that our political leaders support tyranny over the liberty Canadians died for is defending Remembrance Day and its meaning, not exploiting it.
    Crass, meet Elirony.

  5. ‘Would Prime Minister Trudeau and the NDP’s Jagmet Singh be lauding Fidel Castro if they understood what our veterans fought and died for?’
Yes they would, they’re on the other side.

  6. the terminally stupid in Canada have no idea or rational thought. they deserve their fate. too freaking bad though. my ancestors would be appalled at the level of idiocy shown by the average Canadian, the imports would never have been allowed. you don’t destroy your heritage and culture for a bunch of primitive followers of islam. communists are to be removed not celebrated. looks like pierre’s son never saw a commie he would not embrace.

  7. John Chittick mentions “The Spawn’s father”, but look at the side-by-side photos of Trudeau and Castro at the linked site – compare the eyes and nose and tell me PET really was Daddy.

  8. This time of year tends to make me very pensive. I think of my Grandfather’s brother, killed in the closing days of the First World War. My Dad’s cousin flying 36 missions as a Lancaster crewman in the Second (they lost a tail gunner an average of once every two missions) The many thousands of young men that died for the concept of freedom and the perhaps more nebulous concept of “Canada”
The Canada and freedom they fought and died for is long gone, replaced by the perverse science of political correctness and creeping socialism. I wonder if those that served and sacrificed so honorably would be persuaded to assault Vimy Ridge or storm the beaches of Normandy if they could see what Canada has become.
Our elites hide in their downtown Toronto and Montreal enclaves and make their plans for the utopian society that they will foist upon us, the poor unwashed and ignorant. If we dare object and try to preserve what little of the Canada our veterans fought for, we are called racists, bigots, ignorant, and greedy. What, however, sacrifice does our dear Prime Minister, Le Dauphin, or his trust fund friends endure? Our elites say this is the price “We” must pay for living in our open, multicultural and tolerant society. What they are really saying is this is the price YOU must pay. They will not dirty their hands.
Last year, I watched the Remembrance Day ceremonies from Ottawa on the CBC. I really wish I had a stop-watch to see the amount of time the camera was focused on the former, part-time drama teacher we elected as Prime Minister. I am sure it was far greater than the time focused on the surviving veterans who gave up so much so that we could act so stupidly.
I am not sure our PM will be back in Ottawa for tomorrows ceremony. If he is, perhaps I will pull out that stop-watch. That is, if I can make it through the ceremony without becoming overcome by the regret of so much sacrifice that has been discarded on the altar of political correctness and expediency.

  9. Given that PM Socks drawer is empty, one can pretty much say he’s already forgotten the lessons of history or never learned them…
Recall his laudatory statements on Castro’s death for a murdering dicatator; on the same day he sends out a statement on the Holodomor in which Stalin liquidated some 8-10 millions. Black farce doesn’t even begin to account for this half wit.
Next we’ll have Hitler historically rehabilitated in the “progressive” universe. PM Socks will no doubt cite the Time magazine Hitler: Man of the Year circa 1937 as evidence.
I have my doubts whether St. Jude patron saint of lost causes could redeem this hapless leper.
But then I live geographically, some considerable distance beyond HOPE!!
    Cheers

  10. Well … all I know is that I was lectured by Obama that the Canadian “Free”-healthcare-for-all was modeled after the WONDERFUL-Marxist-misery-for-all-healthcare system. And that America was the ONLY industrialized nation in the world to let its poor people DIE without any healthcare whatsoever. Of course it was all LIES … but as the Marxists say … by any means necessary.
Thanks Canada … for helping US get the Marxist crap-sandwich called Obamakkare

  11. It’s not that turdo la doo doesn’t understand – he does.
    But he just doesn’t care.

  12. It’s too bad that those that died in Colossal Global Mistake I and II ended up ushering in that which they fought against. Had you told those leaving home what they would see in 2017, most would have stayed home.

  13. “he just doesn’t care” That would have made a far better campaign slogan than “he’s just not ready” which implied that he would be in the future which is about as harmful as saying he’s too young.

  14. That would be a good slogan for next time “He just doesn’t care” — with lots of examples to go with it.

  15. The picture is a loving photo of Justin Trudeau and his “Uncle Fidel”, Fidel and his father were very close.
It’s not by accident Justin is enamored with Communism, his father was. We heard it first hand when he said he admires the Communist China regime….. no mention of their human rights abuses, out of sight, out of mind.
The fact he couldn’t arrange to be here for Remembrance Day shows what is important to him.

  16. “Had you told those leaving home what they would see in 2017, most would have stayed home.”
Well Sean, I can appreciate what you are saying.
My dad was on the beaches of Normandy. Just viewing the carnage all around him would have made him stay home.
However, my dad did not enlist to do his part in delivering the world from a tyrant and ushering in peace and freedom. He did it for a job. It was the Great Depression and things were so bleak on the prairies he and his brothers and every one of his friends chose going to war over unemployment and poverty.
The result of their sacrifice is the prosperity that we have enjoyed for over 70 years. But they had no idea what their choice was going to cost them.

  17. Seriously normal people have not and will not forget those who perished in regaining their freedom.
My uncle Peter was a Lancaster bombardier who died over France at the tender age of 22 years. Even today, a family in the town near where he died, lovingly tends his grave.
They recently sent our family the Canadian flag from that graveyard, a little tattered but replaced by a new flag.
Even some 74 years later, their generations of remembrance still means a great deal to us.

  18. “However, my dad did not enlist to do his part in delivering the world from a tyrant and ushering in peace and freedom.”
My dad joined the RCAF at 18yrs/old in ’40 for roughly the same reason, except that he had a job laboring on a Quebec farm since the age of 13. The other reason he gave me when I asked, “Dad why did you join and go to war.”
He answered, “Because everyone else was going.” It was the thing for virile young men to do.
“It’s too bad that those that died in Colossal Global Mistake I and II ended up ushering in that which they fought against.”~Sean
They ushered it in by not defeating the Russians and finishing the job.

  19. “The Canada and freedom they fought and died for is long gone, replaced by the perverse science of political correctness and creeping socialism.” Exactly, and they don’t even hide their goals anymore. Just listen for a while at what is coming out of our universities. Dr. Jordan Peterson is the most visible fighter against the tyranny.

  20. “They ushered it in by not defeating the Russians and finishing the job.” General Patton wanted to keep going. Yuri Bezmenov warned us about the Soviet infiltration of our educational and media systems. Now we have home grown Marxist leaders trained in our educational system controlling much of our society.
IQ80 embracing a communist monster is not surprising.

  21. As a past Royal Canadian Legion Branch President the sight of this photograph of Castro & Trudeau is absolutely disgusting. What this PM and his incoherent government are doing is the deliberate destruction of the Canada the WW 11 and Korean War vets fought and died to preserve. They are turning this country into a geographic tower of Babel with their all cultures are equal multicultural political diatribe.

  22. Absolutely. Canadians need to wake up. Too few understand what’s actually going on. Trudeau is a disaster for Canada.

  23. Shiny Pony is going to weasel his way out of another commitment. No troops but Trudeau is under the impression that we have “high-end” equipment. Probably need to hire someone else to deliver it like we did in Afghanistan.
Liberals to offer equipment, training for peacekeeping but no mission commitment
Canada is ready to offer the United Nations a list of high-end equipment and troops who could train peacekeepers from other countries for dangerous deployments, CBC News has learned.
The Liberal government pledged over a year ago to deliver up to 600 troops and 150 police officers to UN-mandated peace operations.

  24. I don’t know if you’re old enough to remember Oct. 15–28, 1962 when the Cuban Missile Crisis unfolded, but I am. That cigar sucking Commie Castro whom Trudeau Sr. glorified was responsible for the installation of Soviet missiles on Cuban soil. Missiles that contained nuclear warheads, some that would most likely have been aimed at Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa.
This is not about Remembrance day or Justin Trudeau and Fidel Castro. It’s about hard earned lessons from the past. The world was on the brink of nuclear war thanks to that Commie SOB and his Soviet allies. I am one person who will not forgive Fidel Castro. Nor will I ever forgive Pierre Elliot Trudeau for the pain he bestowed upon Western Canada. As for Justin, I forgave him the first time I heard him speak.

  25. Thats a nice photo of Sockidiot and his dictator Dad, Fidel… they lost a good friend and ally that day. Shitsock and Fidel should’ve worn Nazi uniforms that fine day, in solidarity with comrade Peepee… you know, as a “prank”, tee-hee. The twisted irony of a country like Canada sacrificing her young men who fought against tyranny only to turn around and elect an English Canada hating Nazi sympathizing tyrannical madman like Peepee the Turdo is beyond all reason. Canada was a great country, shame that all those brave Canadian men died so that years later Peeppee Turdo could dismantle the country they fought for and impose his own. Oh well, Canada is gone and all we’re left with is Peepee’s shitsock. Shame.

  26. In the photo it is to be noted Justin is wearing his Papa’s signature rose in his lapel. His Papa was of age to have been in the service along with many other very young Canadian men, but he was a flower boy back then, remained one all his life. Well one exception, the FLQ scared the proverbial out of him, the army was useful then right here on his own soil when he enacted the War Measures Act.

  27. My dad was in the Air Force police as he was a former cop. He told me many times of his adventures chasing deserters and AWOLs in Quebec where the village would hid them.

  28. hear hear.
I sent a postage free and very blistering letter to the pmo inquiring just how much monsieur turdeux adores kim jong unhinged, based on his great affection for fidel.
I pointed out that komrade fidel was willing to and if fact did put enormous swaths of n america and russia at risk of being turned into radioactive wasteland just so he could gain power and influence in central america. ie the CUBAN missile crisis.
I agree 101% with saskwatch, I was 11 when it all went down.
just last nite I again called the local lieberal mp mentioning the fact turdeux 1.0 raced around montreal wearing a kraut WW I uniform and pointed helmet, mocking the soldiers embarking on the transports for europe yet again. what a go&^&*mn shytstain that whole family is.
still waiting for a reply to the vitriolic letter…..

  29. Yup.
Pause a moment to contemplate the freedoms we enjoy.
Protected by the extreme sacrifice by our parents and grandparents .
They would be so…… um something.. to see what we did with the freedom they gave us.
We surrendered our property rights, our right to self determination, our right to be unmolested in our own homes.
We gave up our right to say what we thought in public, accepted hate speech laws that muzzle all.
We accepted citizens being persecuted for defending their own lives and property.
And we sit silent as the blind worms of social science gnaw away at the roots of our civilization
We enslaved future generation with national debt that knows no limit, for “investments” which bring no future benefit.
We embrace levels of personal taxation that slavery found untenable.
And we smiled our way into Kleptocracy as our state institution.
And we nod and go along to get along as corruption runs rampant.
Modern Canada= Good enough for Government.
We will smile and appoligise to all, as we allow our current crop of fools and bandits to tax life .
The ignorance and arrogance necessary to attempt to impose a tax on Carbon Dioxide, the stuff of life, takes generations of public parasites to produce.
We should give thanks to those who gave us the wealth, luxury and leisure neccessary to breed such persons.
