I’m trying to figure out how an Indian who grew up on Manitoulin Island (Lake Huron) ever came across seal meat. Though it’s nice to see the eco-loonies sticking it to the First Nations.
I have no favor for either side of the dispute.
The people behind the anti-sealmeat petition are what my pal Padraic calls “fookin’ eejits”. If you don’t like what’s on the menu at KuKum Kitchen, then eat somewhere else. Folks who insist on controlling what other people like to cook or eat should be forced to eat muktuk. These ill-informed activists might do well to remember what Ted Nugent once said: “If God did not intend for us to eat animals, she wouldn’t have made them out of meat.”

PBS had a show by a British wildlife photographer, showing Red fox eating Arctic White fox. And goofy Brits feeding fox in their backyards.

Still might do it. I find that a lot of these places with weird food are actually pretty good.
First they came for the seal meat eaters, then they came for the chicken beef meat eaters.

Yeah … I discovered that the Koreans make great BBQ … who knew? Some weird food can be good … as long it doesn’t involve Fido.
