  2. Liberal asshole was an asshole and the liberal women in Hollywood thanked him for it when he could help their career. The old cliche that ends with ‘now we’re just haggling over the price” seems to apply.

  3. Trump was crucified by all those Hollywood women for implying that you could grab their pu$$y. He never actually said he did, he may have, but regardless, we know these hypocrites either let Harvey grab theirs, know he was grabbing others, and they said nothing for decades.
    Nobody in Hollywood should ever be allowed to speak about anything in public ever again, especially anything to do with women’s rights.

  5. Interesting and little known fact. The current Marshall of the Supreme Court is Pamela Talkin. Pamela Talkin testified ON BEHALF OF Clarence Thomas in the Anita Dunn kerfuffle.
    Does it mean anything? Not really, other than you have a successful and accomplished woman who didn’t back Dunn, does that make Dunn a liar, or Talkin a stooge? Neither. Just the complexity that we are now seeing with Dunn supporting Weinstein, although that relationship is much clearer, he has hired Dunn.

  6. A great example of supporting something in theory while doing the exact opposite in practice.
    Theory: we oppose misogyny. It’s an ugly remnant of the patriarchy and must be ruthlessly stamped out wherever we find it.
    Practice: through silence and self-interest we allowed a well-known misogynistic predator to victimize countless women and made no attempt to stop him.
    Hollywood progressives have similar theory vs. practice hypocrisy when it comes to their carbon footprint, paying taxes, class snobbery, gun control (bodyguards, violent movies), science denial, etc. They’re not alone, of course. A general rule of thumb is that the most prominent zealots who preach at you most loudly about the sin of X, are usually active participants of X. I include silence as active support because that’s the rule progressives have set for their ideological opponents. I’m sure Hollywood will continue to atone for their transgressions by more forcefully attacking…nonleftists outside of LA and NYC.
    The next time celebrities do go on attack, they should be asked how they helped women being victimized by own of their own. By all reports, this was an “open secret” that went on for decades.

    From movie mogul Harvey Weinstein to womanizing and career advancing “Hurricane Harvey Swinestein”.

  9. I’ve never understood why people look to celebrities, politicians and “experts” for guidance. Celebrities and politicians for obvious reason – their professional lives are artificial and stage managed while their personal lives are an absolute mess. People should be sceptical of experts because of how often they are wrong. The history of science, hard science, is a chronicle of failed theories that took ages to correct due to arrogance and groupthink. Todays social science and pseudoscience are much, much worse. I’m not sure I can think of modern organisation who can claim to have the moral or intellectual authority to ask people to trust them or do as they say.

    Most likely because the hard work of self criticism requires a brutal honesty; which many of us avoid. They simply do it because they can, if one has an itch scratch it! Of course this doesn’t solve the problem of scales, never having thought about applying a salve.
    The idol worship of ostensibly worldly successful people in one area of their life, usually career, somehow leads to the false assumption that they have everything under control and together in other areas of their life. This false assumption in part masks the ‘hearts of darkness’ factor.
    Success in one area of life, and abusing one’s position of power, are as old as the dawn of man. The quid pro quo of sexual favours for career position and advancement isn’t excellence in movie making, it is simple abuse of power in an employer/employee relationship. In short, you’ve behaved like a creep and a bum.
    Most regular folks have spouses to ‘knock some sense’ into us; and given Harvey has an admitted 3 decade track record of abuse, and leaving a trail of emotional wreckage, his public announcement to turn over a new leaf would suggest he has his enormous work at self improvement cut out for himself.

  12. Hahahaha … I thought I was going to read about a hurricane “wrap up”. Well played Lance. You sent me scrolling down the page looking for the hurricane commentary.
    What this story teaches is that the “mother’s milk” of leftist sewer is … $$$$$. Lots of $$$$$. Weinstein has run OUT of $$$$$ … and will be run OUT of Hollywood. No longer will the fat (ugly, gross) man have a voice. Now he will just slither-away. And who would listen to HER … if it weren’t for all the $$$$$ she nicked off Wall Street, foreign nations, and American colleges? Soros? $$$$$. Obama’s? … just bought (another) home … a $10million penthouse in NYC … sadly, he isn’t going away. And Michelle Obama? … will find more “hospital” “work” that pays $400k/year. Government worker UNIONS? $$$$$ … lots of it. If the left (and RINO Repug’s) is to be stopped … it must be starved of $$$$$. Esp. taxpayer $$$$$.
    The real reason we have a President -kick ass- Trump? $$$$$ … his own $$$$$ … detaching him from the chattering voices and strings tied to Donors $$$$$
