  1. Caught a bit of Adler on my way home tonight.
When did he turn into Jack Layton’s soul brother? Must be the tot of being in the media for so long, it eventually has brainwashed him!

  2. I watched the Jays game tonight then didn’t turn it off at the end and saw the start of Sportsnet Central. All Trump, all the time. Seemed like the first 6-7 minutes was dedicated to what Trump said and the reaction from players. Within those 7 minutes there was highlights from the Monday Night Football game, but half of that was about what the players did in that game.
I don’t know why I had it on that long…I guess I kept hoping for sports, but nope. There was hockey tonight, MLB is in its final stretch of the regular season, however, they just went on and on with Trump.
I’m not saying it shouldn’t have been covered, but I think they risk losing viewers by focussing on Trump and not sports.

  3. Re: Video.
I remember the early 90’s, I was going through a divorce. When I’d get off work at night, I’d often watch a few videos such as the one Deplorable Sean found for us to enjoy. If I recall, the channel was MTV??. It would cleanse my thoughts and rid my mind of wicked ideas.
Today, thank God, it’s all in the past. And it is a rather entertaining video. Thanks!
    Speaking of wicked ideas!!

  4. I watch sports for entertainment. I don’t care about any of their political issues. TSN was all politics tonight. Bob McKenzie even weighing in. If I want politics I’ll watch a political network. When i watch sports I want sports not politics. I don’t care what lebron james thinks or steph curry or Colin kapernick. Entertain me with sport or I’ll go somewhere else. Like many NFL fans seem to be doing now.

  5. Did Obama Spy on America to Protect Islamists? – Daniel Greenfield
“The Obama edition of Watergate wasn’t committed merely for domestic political gain. It was carried out for a reason that was encompassed in his address to the United Nations after the Benghazi massacre.
“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”
This foul slogan led to the first arrest of a filmmaker for political speech in almost a century. It led to the sordid betrayal of our national security and our allies. And to domestic espionage against Americans.
The future must not belong on those who spy on Americans to protect Islamism.”

  6. I can’t stand listening to the Charles Adler Memorial Show. I call it that, because he is dead to me.
After all those years of listening to him roll out the story of his family escaping Hungary with him as a baby in swaddling clothes, coming to Canada to be free, working hard etc. and Canada being the greatest country in the world because… you know the routine. Now he has gone all out statetheist. I know it is all about aligning his beliefs with his employers editorial policy after being taken off the air, and that he has to make a living, but there are other options now for those with the strength of their convictions.
Of course Adler’s ghost is not the worst offender when it comes to urinalism, Michael Coren seems to make a living by changing his religion to suit employers. Anyone know the over/under on his taking the shahadah?
    Both prime examples of presstitutes.

  7. Did you see where P. J. O’Rourke has launched a free magazine? American Consequences. Could be interesting.

For a while it looked as if a plan to turn fruit waste into electricity might bring light for a giant Nigerian market – but then, like so many other power plans, nothing happened. When will renewables really come on line?”
“Two kids run across the road shouting, “Thief! Thief!” as a big rat races away into a nearby hole for refuge.”

  9. I think I’ll take a knee on the rhyme song guy but Marty Robbins; now there was a talented singer and performer.

  10. Reparations for black slavery in Canada? Canada never really had slavery. I think it would be difficult identifying 100 slaves in Canadian history and I suspect their descendants would look a lot like blue eyed blond haired me or be 98% descended from blacks who immigrated from the US for their freedom.

  11. The NFL is taking a knee on their own Operations Manual which states …
The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.
The NFL has CHOSEN to selectively enforce their own RULES. Perhaps it is time for the NFL to rewrite their workplace conduct rules, rather than flaunt them by allowing selective violations based on political virtue signaling? Write the National Anthem completely OUT of their gladiatorial contests … and erase any doubt about their true support (lack thereof) for America. Or perhaps they should be REALLY honest about the NFL ownership’s opinions and salute our flag when a BLACK, or FEMALE LEFTIST President is elected … and sit on their hands when THE PEOPLE elect a conservative President?
And nowwwwww that this NFL Operations Manual Rule has been disseminated through social media … the leftist TRUTHERS have started their Clintonian-defense by claiming the “Operations” Manual is NOT a “Rules” Manual … and that all the right wing HATERS lack the understanding of the “nuance” between Rules and Operations.
    http://time.com/4955704/nfl-league-rulebook-a62-63-national-anthem-rule/
Bottom line … leftist coelenterates are vile swamp dwelling lifeforms

  12. RE: Canada never really had slavery.
Of course that is true, however, that will not stop the UN from attempting to implement their agenda to favour yet another minority group. I think the plan is to use this as leverage with the US to get them to come up with reparations. The whole thing is simply sowing racial divisions. Anyway, Trudeau’s embarrassing apology for Natives set the tone. I am pretty sure he is prepared to go along with this. He will claim that Blacks in Canada have been disadvantaged by racism. Then we will get statues of Blacks, special grants for their communities — whatever can be squeezed out of the taxpayer.

  13. *
another telling difference between america and canada…
united states of america… anthony weiner gets jail time, big fine and
three years probation for sexting (never actually meeting) a teenage girl.
socialist state of canada… senator don meredith gets cash for life
for pursuing and actually seducing a teenage girl.
    sunny ways.

  14. Thanks for the link.
As repeatedly stated by Stone, these procedures should be public and live.
Too hard to hide the committee’s hardcore pro-DNC stance that way, I guess.

  15. Confederate Flag = big bad symbol got to go
Stars and Stripes = aint no big thang dontchaknow
TSN sports folks Duffy, Poulin,ONeil and McKenzie are gormless, virtue-signalling weasels who have bought into 50 years of government propaganda showcasing white men as the Devil. Frikkin morons!

  16. Last I heard Canada was not even doing anything to help Canadians stranded in St. Martin. I guess the PM has other priorities.
He might if he was told that a certain kind of parade couldn’t be held there due to the hurricane.

  17. Gee, maybe the 1st Amendment applies after all…these are federally funded propaganda events.
    https://www.activistpost.com/2017/09/nfl-teams-stayed-locker-rooms-anthem-2009-dod-began-paying-patriotism.html
In fact, Tom E. Curran of Comcast Sportsnet New England reported, in August 2016, that NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy confirmed that the now common practice of players standing on the field together for the national anthem only began in 2009.
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy confirmed this morning the practice began in 2009, adding, ‘As you know, the NFL has a long tradition of patriotism. Players are encouraged but not required to stand for the anthem.’
Additionally, it has come to light that many of the “patriotic” pregame displays in the NFL are simply propaganda displays that were paid for by the U.S. Department of Defense and the National Guard – meaning that these displays were actually paid for by the American taxpayers.
In total, the Department of Defense paid 14 NFL teams $5.4 million from 2011 to 2014 for patriotic propaganda during NFL games.
U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) called the spending wasteful spending that “leaves a bad taste in your mouth”:
“Those of us go to sporting events and see them honoring the heroes,” Flake said in an interview. “You get a good feeling in your heart. Then to find out they’re doing it because they’re compensated for it, it leaves you underwhelmed. It seems a little unseemly.”
“They realize the public believes they’re doing it as a public service or a sense of patriotism,” Flake continued. “It leaves a bad taste in your mouth.”
Former congressman Ron Paul released a video condemning the practice, asking,
Do you know why the NFL has become so gung-ho with military propaganda? It’s because the U.S. government pays them to do it! So, our money is taken from us, and given to the NFL, in order to propagandize us to support the Empire’s wars. That has to stop.

  18. “Last I heard Canada was not even doing anything to help Canadians stranded in St. Martin.”
Jeesh! You know why. Because they’re not Muslims.

  19. Adler used to come on in the afternoons on the station we had on at work. He lost me when he started coming off commercial breaks by leaving the bumper music on and talking over it a la Rush Limbaugh back then. But Adler’s music was so loud that you couldn’t concentrate on what he was saying and you couldn’t really hear the music because he was talking. Very annoying! Also, every Friday he had on that idiot from Toronto (can’t remember his name), and they would laugh and giggle like a couple of high school girls for two straight hours. Like nails on a chalkboard! I emailed him and told him how annoying his show had become but of course was ignored. So that was the last of Adler on any radio I had control of. (which I did at work)

  20. watched the latest (Monday 25th) ep of the Burns thingy on Vietnam.
saw some clips of what the guys went thru at the front line esp Khe Sahn battle.
some gratifying shots of the h-c-m trail getting properly pasted. personally I think the admin needed to do a LOT more of that incl ground incursions. hey, if its hunkydory for the n vietnamese then take the war to THEM!
also found out how nixon communicated with saigon suggesting they stall on the paris talks until AFTER his election win.
it was characterized by LBJ as treasonous. there was a recording of a conversation between the 2 with nixon lying on tape.
    how precsient (sp) !!!

  21. hey, if its hunkydory for the n vietnamese then take the war to THEM!
That’s what Nixon did in 1970 when he sent ground forces into Cambodia in 1970 and, of course, authorized the secret bombing missions.

  22. Prior to colonization all aboriginal tribes engaged actively in the enslavement of their enemies.
Quebek had and active slave trade in the 1600-1800’s. Both natives and blacks were involved. Auctions were widely advertised and slaves moved across the border. The British Empire outlawed slaver in 1833 which pretty much ended the practice.

  23. the fact he had to do it in *secret*, well, hmmmm . . . . to all the blue haired tut tutting senior citoyens making a false comparison about what *their* generation did in europe, and the vietnam experience, here’s a question: were the allies forbidden by white house policy to set foot on, oh, say vichy fwance that was not part of the battlefield?
LOTS of blame to go around post ‘Nam.
the war was winnable, just NOT the way it was being conducted. ‘defend democrapcy in vietnam’ bla bla bla.
n v thieu did NOT look or act like a defender of freedom. the corruption in his govt worked its way all to the front lines.
LOTS of blame to go around. this series has given me additional insight into the vietnamese communist mindset.
westmoreland used tactics of previous wars that were won but did NOT apply in s vietnam.
LOTS of blame to go around. step 1 to ‘win the hearts and minds’: burn the village to the ground *in case* they *might* harbour vc supporters. that’s another Q for the blue hair set: did the allies burn everything in sight *in case* there were hidden collaborators? oh. sit’n not the same. . . EXACTLY !!!! ergo, new strategies called for !!! that does NOT include fudging the enemy casualty figures to meet the requirements !!!
    etc etc

  24. 3D chess…MAGA with Obama policies…
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-09-26/mcmaken-stop-wrapping-flag-around-pro-sports
In 2009, Barack Obama’s Department of Defense began paying hundreds of thousands towards teams in a marketing strategy designed to show support for the troops and increase recruitments. The NFL then required all players and personnel to be on the sidelines during the national anthem, in exchange for taxpayers dollars. Prior, the national anthem was played in the stadium but players had the option of staying in the locker room before heading out to the field.
Furthermore, teams that showed “Veteran’s Salutes” during games were paid upwards of $5.1 million dollars.

  25. Leftists and increasingly Liberals are completely intolerant. Why don’t they accept the appointment and then try to convert her to their positions on things. Surely they realize that a certain percentage of Canadians share Rachael Harder’s views. I guess the Liberal government is not prepared to accept social conservatives as part of the Canadian social fabric.

Bombardier’s rail business took a blow on Tuesday as Germany’s Siemens AG reached a deal to merge its rail operations with France’s Alstom SA. Siemens had previously been in talks with Bombardier about joining forces.”

  27. The Rachel Harder move is hardly surprising. In a country that has no abortion law whatsoever you’d expect lt.
I think there are fewer than 5 such countries are the world with no thoughts on the matter.

  28. Freeland can huff and puff all she wants about the US levy of 219% imposed on bombardier jets. In her next breath she defends the dairy industry levys imposed on the U.S.
You can’t have it both ways.
The dairy levy wouldn’t be 219% would it?just askin’

  29. Trudeau tried to talk tough against Boeing when he said ‘we’ll not be engaged with a company while they’re suing us.’ The big slip-up there was the use of the word ‘us’.
I’d like to think that Bombardier will feel the pain in their numbers but I know that ultimately our tax dollars will re-compense them.

“100+ First Nations communities still boil water, but Liberals to lecture them on “climate change””
“There are still over 100 First Nations communities facing nearly 150 different boil water advisories.
Instead of making this crisis a priority the way he promised during his campaign, Trudeau gave more than $4 billion in foreign aid as one of his first acts as Prime Minister.
It’s an international disgrace that there are parts of Canada where people live in Third World conditions.
But it won’t ever change as long as we have politicians in Ottawa who think people whose tap water can kill them actually care about climate change.”
    https://www.therebel.media/100_first_nations_communities_still_boil_water_while_trudeau_liberals_lecture_them_on_climate_change

  31. Trudeau is the disgrace. These people are very stupid. I wonder who’s friend runs a climate change advisory business. Also, they better watch that foreign aid or they won’t have enough money for those slavery reparations that the UN is recommending. (See my earlier post.)

  32. SDA should screen shot this from https://offshoreleaks.icij.org/nodes/20170256 and post it. This is the website set up by journalists to help people search for names from the Panama Papers and other leaks of off-shore corporations.
“Francis Morneau William” is a director of a corporation listed in the Bahamas. “Francis Morneau William” is Bill Morneau. If you are worried about a lawsuit, just ask if it is him.
This should be front page news. If not in the MSM, then on SDA.
