  2. I watched CBC and their expert commentators . ( professors of course ) . According to them , Donald doesn’t understand the fine nuances of diplomacy . The overlying message was Donald was out to destroy NK. They kind of neglectited he was speaking of consequences of an attack . I guess some one else missed the “nuance ” . What Donald missed is that he is supposed to offer concessions and send money . Because that is the diplomacy that has been working so well .

    UN: then what do you suggest?
    Trump: I’ll send in the US 6th fleet and we will nuke em.

    Ol’ Hillary is likely pissed off at Trump calling L’il Kim “Rocket Man” because she figures Billy deserves that title from back in the 60s when they were both smokin’ but not inhalin’.
    And she figures SHE makes Vladmir agitated. Holy Mackerel, if that was true, imagine the effect Melania must have on the poor little fella.

    She can do so much better, as in BENGHAZI…
    Hurricanes and earthquakes do a better job of diplomacy than HRC; at least they are equal opportunity killers.
    “What Happened?” you ask? HRC is a national disaster area, that’s what happened.

  9. The United Nations. Now less than 50% of it’s members are democracies and they are trying very hard to lower that # even further. In a demonstration of truth in advertising, the UN should change it’s name to United Anti-Democracies.
    Trump’s America is currently to the UN what white men are to Social Justice Warriors.

  14. The goal should not be to nuke North Korea back to the Stone Age, the goal should be to free the hostages (i.e, the entire population of that country) from the dictatorship. Something like “Truth and Reconciliation” with a negotiated end of the regime is preferable to War if that’s possible, but if War is necessary, so be it.

    This whole time I thought that God-awful green tile wall behind the UN speaker was massive and now I see it’s no larger than a regular countertop. Good grief.
    The thing looks like crap. It’s like mirror tiles. People in mobile homes have more sense than put up 12″ granite tiles. It says, “this is a dopey place for dopes.”

  18. one of them, just one of them, even a ‘miss’ coming from n korea, well, the truth could very well be that total annihilation of their nuke capability is the only thing that works.
    I am convinced of that and that the US has long ago initiated a system of round-the-clock observations from a variety of sources, including those of the utmost secrecy, of the moment to moment status of their nuke toys, and countermeasures constantly updated.
    imagine 1,000 cruise missiles launched over the course of oh, no more than the same day smashing everything painted caomoflage green and then hitting the priority targets 2nd and 3rd time to be sure.
    including MOABs and such. and tactical field nukes, the ultimate tit-for-tat.
    President Trump will never be accused of failing to warn them.
    this from Harry Truman in a vaguely similar situation: “a rain of ruin the likes of which”.
    p.s. I agree with nv53, no need whatsoever to wreck the whole country, just their military. all of it.
    for practice if that rationale works for ya.

    Now we just need to get rid of the ruling family.
    Talk about a target of opportunity.
    The place is a giant prison camp.
    Cut the head off, and there indeed might be joyous crowds in the streets.
