  1. I hate bluetooth. As a consumer I’ve found Bluetooth troublesome to connect. Troublesome to stay connected. Limited range. Drains batteries like no ones business. Even when connected it doesn’t do anything anyways. Often I’ve found whenever you connect something you’ll spend longer troubleshooting and dickering around than whatever useful benefit you get from the device.
I find it hard to believe it can be a viable platform for hacking non-sense etc.

  2. All my Windows machines auto-patched themselves out of band this morning. That’s an indication of how seriously Microsoft is taking this.
I’m more concerned about Samsung’s lack of response, but I assume they’ll pass through the Android patches when they come down from Google.

  3. I have a JBL bluetooth pill speaker. Friggin thing loses connection after 10 minutes. JBL tech support no help whatsoever. Always have bluetooth turned off on my phone. My ipad is another story.

What was wrong with the Purolator guy arriving at the door, ringing the doorbell, handing over his battered aluminum notebook cover and saying, ”Just sign on the dotted line.”
    I don’t recall problems with ”Blueborne”back then!!
Reminds me of a guy who was sending a parcel from Moose Jaw to Regina. When he asked the Canada Post clerk how long it would take, she answered, ”Up to three days.” The guy was furious. ”Three days to deliver a parcel less than 40 miles away! The Royal Mail was delivered by horse and wagon, and it got to Regina in two days. What the hell is going on??”
”The horses are getting older” replied the clerk.
