Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

What They Say About SDA
"Smalldeadanimals doesn't speak for the people of Saskatchewan" - Former Sask Premier Lorne Calvert
"I got so much traffic after your post my web host asked me to buy a larger traffic allowance." - Dr.Ross McKitrick
Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
Funny how the left goes ballistic when a government tries to contract out services, but are OK with basically contracting out policing to Antifa and its fellators in the media.
Due process is just an American concept, so therefore hackneyed; only the guilty need fear; and extreme right wingers, yes add them to the list.
Obviously people studying things should direct how those things should happen. Makes total sense, like letting children run the household.
Actually, they’re the same thing aren’t they? Those gray haired children are the most unruly, imho, but sadly are not up to swinging 2x4s at “extreme right wingers.” Luckily the anti-fascist fascists are available to be their delegates.
At $25 an hour. That’s paltry for those fighting prosperous, er hateful imperialist capitalists they heard about on their smartphones, while sitting in mommy’s basement, surrounded by plastic courtesy of those hated entrepreneurs.
Due process would be an impediment to their saving democracy by overturning elections. Did we make the brave soldiers storming the Normandy beaches follow due process?
But I believe we sent them there, not George Soros.
I know, STFU with my hackneyed arguments about criminal thugs being the opposite of the brave souls who saved us from fascism.
Thank you foreFATHERS for the wisdom and compassion of creating Due Process for ALL citizens of the USA. Only LIARS and SCOUNDRELS fear things like “evidence”, “testimony”, and “proof”. He said, and She said … should be weighed blindly and EQUALLY on the scales of JUSTICE. And if you don’t like that … go fkcu yourself !… which is, of course, another talking point altogether.
Remember, those same fore fathers voted for some of the people (cough new deal cough), and raised some of the people (hippies cough cough), who are responsible for our current troubles…
The so called greatest generation appears to have actually been the started the fire generation. Maybe…
Due process is just so -inconvenient- when you know you’re right and the other guy is literally Satan.
Once again, progressives embrace the divisive ‘or’ instead of the inclusive ‘and’. As in, you can support rape victims *and* support due process. Instead of, you must discard the fundamental right to due process for alleged rapists *or* you are a sexist, alt-right misogynistic bastard who needs to check their privilege and embrace the postmodernists’ hierarchy (matrix?) of rights that are dependant on your intersectionality status.
Kevin and Kenji, I think you should crack some history books, the older the better. Due process began with Magna Carta in 1215. The right to trial by a jury of ones peers and the right to not have property confiscated are laid out in clause 39.
At the very end, 25 barons are to be selected to watch over the king and his appointees to make sure they obey the charter, probably the first time in history that a sovereign has agreed to have watchdogs set over him to ensure he obeyed the law. That was the beginning of the rule of law as we know it today.
The term ‘due process of law’ was coined in the 14th century in England. Habeus corpus was clarified and strengthened in 1679 and after the Glorious Revolution of 1688 Parliament passed the English Bill of Rights of 1689.
The Founding Fathers of the US did not invent rights out of thin air. They reaffirmed previously acknowledged rights and added new ones such as the 1st, 4th and 5th amendments.
And the fight to overturn the Magna Carta has been going since its inception. The most fiercest battles have fought the last twenty years.
The left is hell bent to destroy it. If we let that happen it will make 1930’s Europe look like an amusement park.
“The price of liberty is eternal vigilance”. There is always some tyrant, dictator, president for life or petty bureaucrat who want to improve their lot by taking away the freedoms of others.
What did Reagan say? “Freedom is never more than one generation away from dying out”, wasn’t it?
Another name for “The List”.
And don’t forget, the destroyers of the Magna Carta have a little help along the way starting with Lenin’s mouthpiece John Reid and Stalin’s mouthpiece Walter Duranty and the New York Times as well as the leftist 5th columnists infiltrating the educational systems in the 1960s. The result is filth like in the above tweet.
Ken Kulak; nothing is amiss in your comment from my understanding.
I am adding the Biggest Mis-Direction regarding the loss of Due Process and loss of Individual Human Rights plus Property Rights which is what the Brits gained from the evolution of Magna Carta and inherited by Canadians with Sir John A. MacDonald’s establishment of the BNA 1867.
Trudeau the Original and the drunk other Canadian Leaders present at the abasement of Canadian Human Rights, slipped the shiv into Canadian Citizens with the still not Ratified, fortunately, 1981-1982 Canadian Constitution.
If y’all are in a WTF mode try to find the; Site for Language Management in Canada by going to——–The Constitution Act of 1982 and the Charter of Rights and Freedom…ada (SLMC) Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLB).
After reading the first paragraph and the weasel wording of Site for Language Management you may come to a concllusion of “WTF”.
The Foreword of the Canadian Constitution 2nd edition; 2016 by a Adam Dodek———————– follows the Prequel by the Author;– For Ben, who asked me to write in “the genre of ‘Law-Humour'” — this the best I can do.—
Rt. Hon. David Johnston, Governor General of Canada. The forward itself appears to be written with all the necessary Canadian Bureaucracy Baffle Gab the role of Governor General must live by.
This Foreward is followed by the Introduction from; Rt. Hon. Beverley McLaughlin Chief Justice of Canada. It does seem important the final comment can never be made by a Conservative Prime Minister Appointee; in this case the Governor General of Canada; ergo the Chief Justice of Canada by a Liberal Prime Minister.
If you have not been put-off by the Progressive Movement interpretation of Canada’s Constitution as being nothing but a floating thing-ma-bob on the “Sands of Time”–; flip to page 33 —to see the only Cartoon in the book; and other than the Father’s of Confederation the only Conservative Leader in the Book.
You may have your own Opinion on the Display of Trash. I do think the cartoon is a Hatchet Job possibly/probably planned as such by the Author as trash.
Is the Complete Book a trashing of conservative Canadian Citizen’s Values and Culture? I think it is.
