  2. Due process is just an American concept, so therefore hackneyed; only the guilty need fear; and extreme right wingers, yes add them to the list.
    Obviously people studying things should direct how those things should happen. Makes total sense, like letting children run the household.
    Actually, they’re the same thing aren’t they? Those gray haired children are the most unruly, imho, but sadly are not up to swinging 2x4s at “extreme right wingers.” Luckily the anti-fascist fascists are available to be their delegates.
    At $25 an hour. That’s paltry for those fighting prosperous, er hateful imperialist capitalists they heard about on their smartphones, while sitting in mommy’s basement, surrounded by plastic courtesy of those hated entrepreneurs.
    Due process would be an impediment to their saving democracy by overturning elections. Did we make the brave soldiers storming the Normandy beaches follow due process?
    But I believe we sent them there, not George Soros.

  3. Thank you foreFATHERS for the wisdom and compassion of creating Due Process for ALL citizens of the USA. Only LIARS and SCOUNDRELS fear things like “evidence”, “testimony”, and “proof”. He said, and She said … should be weighed blindly and EQUALLY on the scales of JUSTICE. And if you don’t like that … go fkcu yourself !… which is, of course, another talking point altogether.

  6. Once again, progressives embrace the divisive ‘or’ instead of the inclusive ‘and’. As in, you can support rape victims *and* support due process. Instead of, you must discard the fundamental right to due process for alleged rapists *or* you are a sexist, alt-right misogynistic bastard who needs to check their privilege and embrace the postmodernists’ hierarchy (matrix?) of rights that are dependant on your intersectionality status.

  7. Kevin and Kenji, I think you should crack some history books, the older the better. Due process began with Magna Carta in 1215. The right to trial by a jury of ones peers and the right to not have property confiscated are laid out in clause 39.
    At the very end, 25 barons are to be selected to watch over the king and his appointees to make sure they obey the charter, probably the first time in history that a sovereign has agreed to have watchdogs set over him to ensure he obeyed the law. That was the beginning of the rule of law as we know it today.
    The term ‘due process of law’ was coined in the 14th century in England. Habeus corpus was clarified and strengthened in 1679 and after the Glorious Revolution of 1688 Parliament passed the English Bill of Rights of 1689.
    The Founding Fathers of the US did not invent rights out of thin air. They reaffirmed previously acknowledged rights and added new ones such as the 1st, 4th and 5th amendments.

    I am adding the Biggest Mis-Direction regarding the loss of Due Process and loss of Individual Human Rights plus Property Rights which is what the Brits gained from the evolution of Magna Carta and inherited by Canadians with Sir John A. MacDonald’s establishment of the BNA 1867.
    Trudeau the Original and the drunk other Canadian Leaders present at the abasement of Canadian Human Rights, slipped the shiv into Canadian Citizens with the still not Ratified, fortunately, 1981-1982 Canadian Constitution.

    Is the Complete Book a trashing of conservative Canadian Citizen’s Values and Culture? I think it is.
